Theodore and Lucas

@Minimum | @AlicePleasanceLiddell

Ruby seemed to be very easy going and fun loving, which was quite refreshing compared to the serious, cynical tone of the man named Adam. His comments towards Theodore set a very intense atmosphere between him and the two brothers. Theodore didn't like to be talked down to, and Lucas didn't particularly like listening to someone insult his brother. The younger brother glared at Adam as he talked about his 'potential', his patience growing thin.
"Being bitter and unpleasant gives you the right to judge me and my brothers worth? Perhaps some self reflection is in order if you truly believe my brother to be the arrogant one here." Lucas brushed a stray strand of hair off of his face, removing his gaze from Adam. Theodore slung an arm around his brothers shoulder and began ruffling his hair with his spare hand.
"Nice! You tell him, bro!" Theodore had a stupid smile plastered across his face. Just seeing it made Lucas regret standing up for him. Yet he was surprised how well his older brother was taking the insult. Theodore saw the look of confusion on Lucas' face and tilted his head towards Adam as Ruby dragged him away.
"If I get all hot and bothered by what he says, then it'll just make him think that he's right about me. I ain't gonna give that bastard the satisfaction. Especially after you were so cool, standing up for me and all." Lucas was surprised at the level headed thinking of his brother. For him to think in such a way must be due to his distaste for their new companion.
"We should follow them." That was the last thing Lucas said on the matter, and the two quickly caught up to the professor.

Theodore and Lucas gaped at the large arena, listening intently to the professor's every word. They were like two kids in a candy shop. It was expected of Theodore to be ecstatic over the chance to have a couple sparring matches with some strong students, but the fact that Lucas was also teeming with excitement was surprising.
"Lucas, I want to take you on! Let's go!" Theodore readied himself to sprint towards the arena, but was stopped by his younger brother yanking the back of his collar.
"What my brother means to ask, Professor," Lucas shot a look at Theodore, as if to tell him to not be rude, "is when the arena is available for students to use? Can we only use it during certain lessons or is it open in our free time as well?" He put extra emphasis on the words 'free time', reminding Theodore that they were still on their tour.

Idk what I was expecting from that tbh
Congratulations :)

I can post in like ten minutes. I'm still in bed being lazy lol.
Hatori Kokonoe and Jura

@Tancuras | @Cuccoruler

Hatori listened to Rosa's awkward apology with a stupid grin, basically laughing it off. To him, she didn't really need to apologise.
"Hey, we all get caught up in the moment! I'll just try to not be in the way next time!" Jura let out a low grumble at the naive words of his rider. Hatori was basically taking the blame for the incident, which didn't sit right with the dragon. He snarled to show his displeasure, which was met by a frown from the young man. "Stop being a baby and get over it! Geez..." He turned back to Rosa with a smile.
"My name's Hatori by the way. I don't know if you remember me introducing myself." Hatori blushed a little, rubbing the back of his head awkwardly. He tried to sound confident, but the fact that he seemed to be one of the youngest surrounded by adults was starting to affect his nerves.

His thoughts were interrupted by the Sundancer exiting his portable tent. Theo gaped at them. They seemed to be quite spacious. Then his thoughts drifted to Jura and he was suddenly less excited. Jura nudged Hatori forward towards Theo, as if letting him know that he would be fine spending the night alone. Hatori stared at Theo's feet, a little shy. It was an odd feeling, considering how confident he'd been whilst riding Jura.
As a Dragon Rider, you and Jura's souls are connected. You'll have to learn to cope with the horrible feeling of grief whenever you aren't riding him. Upon hearing that advice, Hatori understood what he needed to do. Smiling up at Theo, he respectfully nodded his head.
"Those tents are cool, but I don't think Jura will fit. I don't want to leave him all alone outside." Jura lifted his head from the grass at the words of his rider, surprised that he was willing to spend the night with him.

Veronica Winchester and Kieran Croft

@LetMeDoStuff | @Tancuras | @sMoKe

Veronica was beyond tears. She sat still in the grass, staring up at the sunrise with a distant look on her face. The words of her guiding spirit occupying her thoughts.
I know it must be hard, but unfortunately you can't go home. We need you here. It was hard for Veronica to imagine ever being needed. Back in the real world, she was a cloistered little home schooled girl with no friends. She attended lessons, practiced piano and never made much contact with others. Even as an adult, she found herself to be quite awkward and blunt around others. She demanded attention constantly, and anyone who became friends with her was quick to realise how much effort she was to be around. Someone like her was never needed nor wanted; yet here she was. When she thought of it like that, suddenly returning home seemed like the worse option. Yet even despite that, she couldn't help but fear for her life.

"Hey, uh, Veronica." Her thoughts were interrupted by Kieran, who knelt down beside her. His face was red with embarrassment. "Look I'm not too good with talking about my feelings and stuff. But you should know that no one here blames you for being scared. We're all pretty scared I imagine; we're just too stupid to admit it." Veronica stared at Kieran in silence for a few moments. Suddenly she felt guilty for being so awful towards him when they had met. With a confident smile, she stood up from the grass. Her eyes were red from crying, but she held a confidence in her that was surprising to Kieran.
"I'm grateful for your words of compassion. Even if you are a meat head." She joked, smiling down at Kieran. The Samurai grinned, picking himself up from the ground and placing a hand on her shoulder.
"Was that a joke just now? And here I thought you were incapable of humor." Veronica and Kieran laughed, and the young man was happy to see that he had managed to cheer her up. If things continued to go this smoothly between the two, they may even become friends.

Staring over to Marcus, Veronica took note of the snipers desire to join the group. She nodded with a smile, deciding that this was the right way to go about things. Stepping forward, she stood besides Marcus and also faced the Sundancer and the Gunslinger.
"I know I'm weak, but I want to help however I can. Please allow me to keep travelling with you." Veronica stared at Marcus after her request, noticing that he seemed to be a bit reluctant about the whole situation. "I'm scared. Not just of the creatures, but of being with such a big group. But I can't keep living in isolation. If I do that, I won't grow stronger or braver. I refuse to be the only one who doesn't move forward from here." Even despite her panic attack, it was clear that Veronica was a person with a lot of pride. She couldn't just sit back and cry while others were determined to make a difference. In a way, Kieran quite admired that quality about her. She was driven, even more so than him. It made him want to improve as well, and become someone that the team could depend on. Their rock who would shoulder the brunt of anything that came their way.

With that thought in mind, Kieran also took his place beside Veronica.
"Geez, now everyone's gonna think I'm copying these two. But I guess I'm also here to help as well." Kieran cracked his knuckles together, grinning with excitement. "I'll be here to protect you guys when things get sticky. I make quite a good punching bag, if you didn't deduce that from our horse friend."
@LetMeDoStuff That doesn't sound pleasant. Anyway I'm going to start writing up this quick post. Where is everyone else btw? Seems like a ghost town in here.

Spoopy.
Theodore and Lucas

@Minimum | @AlicePleasanceLiddell

Theodore leaned against Lucas, resting his elbow on the shoulder of his younger brother; which wasn't hard considering their height difference. The older brother was scanning the uniquely dressed girl that stood before them in the group. He'd thought that he and Lucas would be the ones standing out with their neatly pressed uniforms.
"It's quite rude to stare, Theo." Lucas scolded his brother, as if reading his thoughts. As if on cue, the scary looking guy that was with the girl placed himself between them. Theodore didn't say anything to the stranger, but rather just stared him off with a look of annoyance. Lucas tilted his head in his brothers direction, and then at the stranger. The silence was broken by an obnoxious voice; the third student who decided to make a comment about the brothers' appearance. It was true that the two were born with very feminine features, so it's not as though Gary was wrong in his statement. Still, Theodore didn't take too kindly to the insult.

"You looking to die early, punk?" He clenched his fists at his side, but was stopped by a rock smacking Gary in the back of the head. In a moments notice, Theodore's serious, fearsome expression softened into a fit of giggling at the professors display of power.
"Why must you look to start fights, brother?" Lucas spoke, referring to his brothers threat from earlier. "All it does is imply that you care enough to react."
"Got it, Mister Buzz kill. It was only a joke." Theodore laughed, patting his brother on the back. Lucas rolled his eyes, before his gaze met with the young girl as she nodded towards them. Taking a small step forward, Lucas held his hand over his chest and bowed to her.
"Please pardon my brother. He tries to act tough, but he's just an idiot." Straightening up with a smile, Lucas ignored the evil eye his brother was giving him at his comment and continued to talk with Ruby. "My name is Lucas, and my brother is Theodore."
"Call me Theo," Theodore interjected, nodding towards Ruby and Adam. "You and Mister cigarette breath over there got a name?" Theo jerked his head in Adam's direction; making a blunt comment on the stench of tobacco lingering around him.

While the brothers waited for them to respond, they overheard the professor talking about visiting the arena next. Theodore's face lit up with excitement, and Lucas could only imagine what trouble his brother could get into in a sparring arena at this school.

I'll have to post later tonight after work. Sorry for making you guys wait.
I was gonna post but I'm lazy. I don't have an excuse outside of that.

I'll definitely write something up tomorrow though.
Theodore and Lucas

The academy grounds were cluttered with students and teachers alike, bustling past each other with urgency as they began the tours for the new term. Lucas was attempting to grab one of the professors attention, to no avail, whilst Theodore lounged on a stone bench in one of the schools courtyards. The younger Blackwood brother stared at his sibling, frustration plastered across his face.
"I would appreciate some assistance, Theo." Lucas' mannerism of speech were very polite and formal, even when speaking to Theo. It was something that had always bugged his brother, since Theo thought that the two of them should be more casual with each other.
"What's the point? Let's just chill, I'm sure it'll all work out." He spoke in between yawns, resting his arms behind his head as he let the warm sunlight lull him to sleep.

The two brothers had arrived late and hadn't been partnered with a professor to show them around. Whilst Lucas desperately tried to fix the situation, Theo didn't seem to care about the predicament they had been put in. Lucas, unable to be patient with his brother anymore, delivered a swift and heavy stomp onto his sleeping brothers stomach.
"Ow! What was that for?!" Theo stood up, clutching his stomach in pain as Lucas began lecturing him.
"We're already late as it is, Theo. How about we don't push our luck and at least try and find where we're supposed to be?" The two had a brief stare off, but Theodore didn't have the energy to argue with his goody two shoes brother.
"You're a pain in the ass." With that final word from Theo, the two set off through the campus.

After a brief walk through the school, they found a building that looked like it could be a library with a small group of students and a professor walking out from the building. One man was quite large, clad in a brown suit with a stone weapon. The other three seemed to be students, including a red headed girl around Theodore's age and a taller guy with black hair.
"Yo, we were late. Can we join this tour group?" Theodore asked casually.
"We're very sorry for our tardiness, it won't happen again." Out of force of habit, Lucas found himself saluting the professor. It was a bit embarrassing, but he'd become accustomed to addressing superiors in this way during his time at the military academy. The two brothers were even dressed in their cadet uniforms still, since it was the nicest clothes they owned.
