The pair of brothers curiously watched Ruby approach the obnoxious Gary. Lucas in particular was rather surprised at the girls compassion; even inviting him to come and sit with them. Theodore understood the gesture, finishing up the cigarette that Adam had given him. Nobody, even people like Gary, wanted to be alone. Sometimes it was hard for the pair to realise that, because they were never alone. They always had each other. Ruby brought Gary back to the group, and they all sat together in silence.

Ruby attempted to break the silence, but didn't seem to be able to come up with anything to say. Theodore cleared his throat, putting out the cigarette on his plate.
"So, Gary" He was trying to make small talk, "Where are you from? Lucas and I are from a military camp a few days away from here." Whilst Theodore tried to spark up a conversation with Gary, Lucas turned his attention back to Ruby and Adam.
"I'm a little curious as to what we'll learn here. Theodore and myself haven't found out what our magical specialty is yet."
