Since none of the four of you have bothered to respond, I'm considering you out of the roleplay. None of you have posted a post-outbreak post yet, and therefore I am assuming that your characters perished in the initial stages out the outbreak. You have one week until this decision is irreversable.

To the rest of you, @SgtEasy@Xalo@Stekkmen@Zhaliora, I'll be posting an interest check to see about getting more people in on the RP. There may be some downtime while this happens, feel free to keep posting. I will be posting when I can.

Posted, lets keep this going guys. I apologize for my delayed post.
Elizabeth and Amanda Smith

August 29th, 2018 - I dunno what to write here now...

03:15 | The Smith Household

"Like hell you're sorry!" Lizzy snapped. Her mind was racing out of control and tears were now streaming down her face. She looked to her mother with stormy eyes before tucking her head down against her knees. Caitlyn was dead....gone. It had all gone so fast. One second, Caitlyn had been in the bathroom, and then there was screaming as the creatures had swarmed her from the bathtub. It was mere moments before she had been turned, the sheer amount of them having overwhelmed the poor woman.

"You barely knew her, not even close to the extent that I did. The only reason you're saying sorry is because now you have take care of me and not run your god damn business!" Lizzy wasn't even thinking as the words poured from her mouth, months of pent of frustration now being forced out in a desperate attempt of self preservation. Her nails dug into her legs as she cried, her breathing shallow and gasping as she vented. It had finally broken her. The overwhelming thoughts of Caitlyn filling her mind and drowning out everything else.

Armanda quietly kept looking through the drawers and shelfs for something to eat when Lizzy vented. She had no retorts. She had nothing to reply with. At least nothing that would make things better. But just like Lizzy, Amanda was at the breaking point. She tried her best to stay calm, taking deep breaths as she grasped the can so hard her knuckles turned white. She poured the contents into a bowl and put it into the microwave and turned it on.

She turned around and walked back into the living room and walked up to a nearby table and grabbed a stack of papers before tossing them into Lizzy's lap. "The papers appointing a CEO of the company that would run it instead of me. So that I could spend more time with you and Cait. Not like it matters now though with the world going to hell." Amanda started fiddling with the hem of her top, a trait she had never gotten over.

I"I really am sorry for all of this. I really am sorry about Cait. Because I know you love her. Even when I was going to step down I was not going to fire her, because i knew you loved her." Amanda walked out of the room again at the sound of a beep and shortly returned with a plate of soup and handed it to Lizzy. "Here, eat up. You're going to need some food." She felt like she wanted to shout and scream, but she never did. Her face was still relativly calm as she spoke and grabbed a nearby hankerchif and handed it to Lizzy. "I know I'm not a good mother, but I do try..."

Lizzy was silent as she ate the semi-warm canned pasta, her breaths still short and shallow as she calmed down. She grudgingly looked at the papers, the bold title of the contract staring her right in the face. With a deep breath and a final bite of pasta, she stood up and walked over and placed her bowl on the counter. Pacing over to the door and into her room, she began to collect a few things of importance-- her drumsticks, pocket knife, cell phone with earbuds --and stuffed them into her small backpack.

She ventured out to the closet next to the doorway, collecting the hatchet she had hidden there. Lizzy had been afraid of people breaking in and had hidden a hatchet by the doorway in some attempt at false security. She grabbed her soft-shell jacket and hiking boots, before getting ready to head into the literal dead of night. "I assume we're leaving then, considering the cellar really isn't a viable option anymore."

"Leaving at night isn't a good option either. If those things can see in the dark then we won't be around for very long. I say we eat out full, then sleep until the morning. We can both fit in the small bunker and if needs be we can leave through the emergency exit. Then as morning comes we pack up as much as we can before we leave." Amanda sighed. She really did not want to leave at night. Who knew what senses the monsters could use. Sight? Smell? Hearing? And if they've improved over a normal person? There were way too many uncertanties for her, too risky.
Alexandria "Staten Island" Robins

Alex opened up the throttle on the Spitfire, the crisp yet throaty roar of the engine resonating across the tarmac. The Scarlet Harlot screamed down the runway before Alex pulled back gently on the stick to take her up into the air. She looked back to the remaining planes on the runway with a grin, before calling out over the radio “You guys just gonna sit there or are you actually gonna fly?” She quickly yanked on the stick and pulled the Harlot into an inside loop over the runway, before sending it into a barrel roll with a flick of the controls.

A few minutes later her plane cruised with the rest of the squad, more specifically remaining on Hanna’s wing. She matched the speed of the heavy fighter quite easily before glancing over and speaking into the flight mask that now covered the lower half of her face. “We came here to fight together, I don’t wanna be shot in the back, German. Your WEC bullshit stays on the other side of the ocean.” She made sure to make eye contact with the blonde, both a untrusting and competitive feeling between the two.

"Well well, look at this merry band of old farts, it's almost sad. You were the ones gunning down my scouts? Well, we'll see how well you fight when faced with an opponent who can shoot back!" The distorted voice yelled, somehow managing to be heard over the cacophony of powerful engines.
Jersey Devil Six

Alex glanced over to the group of jets in the distance before she saw Ken veer off in the corner of her vision. Then, a voice came over that sent shivers down her spine.

“Can't let you do that....Staten Island. I know who all of you are, especially you Canadian! dont think that prison record kept me from getting into your file Ms Robins, I represnt the Jersey Devil head of security here in Brooklyn, if you want to kill our boss, well sadly you'll have to get through me first, this is a NO FLY ZONE.”
Jersey Devil Six

Alex gritted her teeth as machine gun fire riddled the main fuselage of the aircraft, putting holes in the recently repainted hull of the ace’s plane. She slammed the plane into full supercharger gear and took off after JD6, the engine of the spitfire matching the twin jet engines of the ace in front of her. She flicked up the switch cover on her flight stick before pressing the button, unleashing a rain of both .50 cal and 20mm bullets at the ace in front of her. The crackle of the six guns filled the air as she tailed the ace “This is Staten Island, I’m engaging the fucker in the Black Jet. Could use someone on my wing.”
Hoping to post up soon, its time to show this dn German that I'm not cannon fodder after all. XD

Looking forward to it!
@bluetommy2 Evidently XD
So, Miss Robins, are you Canadian military? Toronto Air division maybe? I would have thought a Canadian Ace would have ended up working for Roland Shaw or something, did you hear he is putting a new Sky Warriors team together?

Alex looked up to the governor, shaking her head gently. Oh how he was far off from where she came from. “If you’re so interested, Mister Rhodes. While I wish I had the pride to say I was in the military, my past is a little more on the darker side of things. You may recall seeing my name on the prison roster here in New York.” She paced over to the wall and leaned back on it, rolling her shoulders and neck before speaking once again. “I was arrested for smuggling illegal goods across the border from Canada. Drugs, weapons, documents. You name it, I would take it if the right price was paid.”

Alex seemed to take pride in her trade, having the look of a criminal about her. From her black leather jacket to the numerous sets of dog tags-- presumably from fallen enemies, hung from her neck. “Where I was born, we mined gypsum and uranium for the prospectors that had all but taken the town hostage. Not the glory and pay that comes from a military life.” she sighed, motioning to the Governor’s above average outfit and furniture.

“And Roland Shaw? Not a chance. I’m only here because it’s better than rotting in a cell. The glory and saving lives bullshit? That can stay with him and his damn freedom fighters.”
