Well hello, what are you doing here, my friend?
Well, if you're still here and you wish to know more about me, then:
I'm a 22 fella who's currently in college and is trying to RP while attending college at the same time. I've been into roleplaying since about the mid 2013's, though I was really bad at it during the first year or so. I "migrated" to RPGuild around 4 years ago since the previous site had banned roleplaying due to a large influx of newbie roleplayers polluting the site with shitty RP's. Either way, since then I've been on this site quite regularly, except during a few occasions when real life took precedence and I had to vanish for a month or two.
As for writing capabilities, I'd like to think myself right now that I'm somewhere in-between casual and advanced levels of writing, though if I'm really into an RP, I'll tend to force myself to write something advanced. As for writing in general, you don't have to worry about that, I really love writing and I do it all the time even when I'm not roleplaying, though there are "dry" periods when my creativity seems to vanish for no discernible reason. General interests include most types of fantasy writing as long as it's properly written, though it has happened in the past for me to be interested in something when I thought I would like it, so if you have an idea and you want to roleplay, then pitch it to me and I'll tell you if I like it or not. As for smut, well, I'm not actively looking for one, but if you think you have an interesting idea, then feel free to pitch it to me.
Well, that's about it, if you want to know more personal stuff about me, or simply wish to have someone to talk to about any topic you so desire, then feel free to PM me.

You will be placed randomly. If you're Russian, then you could be placed anywhere in European Russia. If you're going to play with a German or one of it's allies, then you're going to start on the front.
The game will start right on the day that Operation Barbarossa started(22nd of June 1941). And again, the universe can be changed, so some battles like the battle of Stalingrad can be won by the Germans, what will happen is not set in stone.
They aren't real underdogs, at least Romania isn't. Among all of Axis, Romania fielded the largest army besides Germany itself.
If you want to start with a real underdog, then I would advise playing either Hungary or Romania, what do you say?
Well... you might be able to do that in the next game if this one goes well enough. This game will focus on the Eastern Front and the game will end when either the Nazi's are pushed out of Russia, or when Russia eventually surrenders. Then we'll focus on things such as replacing Mussolini.
With that said, I do like the fact that you have such a high goal, but why not replace Hitler? Why settle for Mussolini and his weak country when you can have Nazi Germany and Italy might?

On the 22nd of June 1941, a invasion was launched. Nazi Germany controled most of Europe at the moment but there was only one nation in Europe that could possibly threaten their dominance(other than England) and that was Stalin's massive Soviet Union. Earlier, at the start of the war, the two nations worked together to crush Poland and split it in half later as a show of friendship between nations.
However, Stalin knew that war was imminent between the two nations and started to modernize the Sovier Union's armies. However, with the Battle of England lost, the Nazi's turned towards Russia as their next target, an invasion would come at any day... and on the 22nd the army of the Nazi's invaded with their full might, catching the unprepared and underequipped Russian army by surprise.

This will basically be a World War II scenario, while it can go the way it went in the history books, it can also go the way of so many Alternate History novels about this period, meaning that all your characters will be able to change the fate of the war if your will is strong enough! Also, while it isn't necessary, I do advise that you use only the nationalities that were present during this invasion(such as germans, russians, italians, romanians, hungarians, etc).

That will be the mission of your character, be it that he has a debt, be it that he wishes to serve the military, be it that he wants revenge on someone, etc. It's basically your character's motivations and something that will help fit your character into the setting.
