Oh man, you ought to try the game... It's janky and buggy (unofficial patches help a ton), but it's by far one of the best RPGs out there! I really had to hold back here and not gush over how great the game is haha.
I'd love to incorporate all sorts of things from the Vampire the Masquerade world (or World of Darkness as the series is collectively called, its originally a pen&paper tabletop game), but I dont think this is quite the RP for it.
Still, the idea of the Camarilla is intriguing. A shady sect that enforces the Masquerade, so vampires (and other supernatural shit) never becomes known among humans.

I love the XCOM universe, but I'm tentatively interested. I feel that this really requires some sort of game system... It's not XCOM until you miss a 90% shot!
Playing through Vampire the Masquerade - Bloodlines (such a mouthful...) makes me a little sad that this RP doesnt touch upon things like clans, princes, barons, organisations like the Camarilla or the Anarchs, or has fancy blood-fueled powers!
Granted, I dont see Robyn as the kind of person who'd use things like Thaumaturgy to make a person's blood boil and quite literally make them explode like a balloon... But still!

Also, skipping this round of posts as there really isnt anything meaningful I can do between Everly and Robyn, besides annoy the little Werewolf even further haha.
