True. I say grey hat only because she does good and bad. Anything she does that is 'good' is because it benefits her, though. She's still gotta function in society! Most people would see her as the friendly class rep, and only the people that get in her way, piss her off, or otherwise trigger her ever get to see her crazy side.

She doesn't maliciously hack into data systems, banks, or public infrastructure. She monitors systems, evaluates and points out vulnerabilities in conduct, protocol and system infrastructure, and is paid on commission to do so. At worst, she's hacked into to school systems and emails to mess with people or blackmail students.
She may be a psychopath, but she still wants to stay on the good side of most people, ya'know.
