I created this account for the server. If it is a problem I will not ever post the address to the website or (when it is out) server address. I created this account so I could get advice about the server.
Then word it as a request for advice instead of an advertisement. Better yet, go to some place that actually knows MC servers like I don't know, Planet Minecraft?
When you make an account on an RP site then people generally expect you to RP, not advertise or ask for help about a MC server
I am not advertising anything. The server isn't even up yet. I just want advice. I apologize for the mistake of misplacing this thread.
From what I can tell, you made an account to specifically talk about a MC server which you have a stake in and want others to be interested/play on. If that isn't advertising then clearly Webster has some work to do.
And if you aren't here to advertise a server, then what are you here for? All the evidence right now seems to be disproilving what you are saying.
Me and a couple of friends are planning on making a fantasy role-play on a minecraft server. With the increase in popularity of these servers it is hard to make something original. So we are making it oriental/eastern. As of this post barely any work has been put into our server. Our goals are as follows:
1.Make a non-Tolkien based fantasy role-play while still having a rich, fantastical and familiar atmosphere.
2.Base characters after cultures instead of races.
3.Make a custom crafting system. (There are no OOC items)
4.Make a skill-set system so people can do cool things in the areas they want without being rebuked about being "unrealistic."
5.Manage to make a server where the lines of OOC and IC do not blur.
We have chosen eastern cultures as our inspiration for this role-play. Please give us advice and criticism. Also, PM me if you wanna help.
Can I ask why you decided to make an account here just to advertise a MC server in the wrong place no less? Stuff like this belongs in the Off Topic at best although Spam would be more fitting.
Also, if you are just going around RP sites to advertise then you are literally a human spam bot.
