I do not "brainrot". I brainferment so my brain will become even smoother and even more potent than before in its smoothness.

Sorry for my absence! A Volunteering position suddenly turned into a Volunteer Leadership position I was not expecting at all so things have been hectic.

Look at you posers, having to bang dragons or sell your soul for magic when you could just play a lute for some. Anyways, here's Wonderwall. - Bards
@Skylar Crap, I should have asked. I had the impression that these where different planets in a system, not everyone sharing a single world. I'll change that and some others in a little bit.
FACTION LEADER: Royarch Khenyakateph Anehekt the Immortal
APPERANCE: Entombed in a suit of resplendent and ornate life-support armored warsuit, Royarch Anehekt the Magnificent stands as a god amongst men from not only the additional height of his suit, but also his very aurora. His death mask has been carved in exquisite beauty and fitted with speakers so that all may hear his roar.
SHORT BIO: Born a genius prodigy under the name of Haval Karine in the Core Worlds, Karine would develop and grow into a cruel and ambitious man, bent on obtaining as much power as he could. Using his intelligence, he perfected the illegal technology of Mind Shackling, forcing those he deemed worthy of serving him to undergo the implantation.
Charged with high treason and unethical science, Karine would make his way to the outer edges of known space where the Central Authority couldn't reach him. Taking his most loyal followers and a legion of mind shackled thralls, Karine would make his way to the colony of Kaliah, a society that seemed to want to emulate the great empire and kingdoms of ancient Egypt. Descending upon the planet, Karine declared that any who would willingly serve him would be granted privileges in his new order. While some of the settlers joined his cause out of fear or willingly, many did not. However, the meager colonial defenses where no match for the legion of undying warriors Karine brought with him who kept on fighting even after death as their implants kept them moving like living robots.
Within weeks the colony fell and the its main city was razed the ground, its remaining population mind shackled and Karine took control, dividing up land between his followers. Renaming himself Khenyakateph Anehekt the Magnificent, he set himself up as Royarch of his new territory and set about rebuilding all he had destroyed in his conquest while also preparing for the future expansion into the sea of stars.
However, something cursed the new leader and he began to show signs of a mysterious illness. He had tossed and turned for days on end, vomiting up blood and bile as his body atrophied. Ordering his Fabricators and researchers to find a cure, he would set his new society down a path that would forever change them: a quest for immortality. Behind closed doors, a suit was built for the Royarch, capable of sustaining him through his illness. However, it was too late as Anehekt had already passed seconds before he the suit was delivered. Saddened and ashamed, the Fabricators used the suit meant to prolong their lord's life as his burial coffin, entombing him into the suit and laying him to rest in a grand mausoleum, using all manner of surgery, genemodding and implants to make him look healthy in death.
A decade would pass as the fledgling empire would crumble into warlordism and civil war as the planet was once again decimated. However, one day, a stray artillery shell cracked open the Mausoleum of Anehekt. Once the smoke had cleared, the figure of Anehekt, still interred in his warsuit and death mask, awoke and saw what had become of his ambitions. In a rage, he roared and declared that he had conquered death and his empire would last a thousand years with him as its undying ruler.
Once again rallying his forces loyal to him, the reborn Royarch Anehekt marched upon his mutinous subjects, nearly turning the world into a barren tomb world in the process but at long last he was once again the undisputed king of all under the blazing sun. Death seems to have changed Anehekt, making him less cruel if only by a little and more willing to use diplomacy. With a new legion of vassals, Anhekt once again rebuilds his world from the devastation he created himself, forever known as the man whose ambitions even death could not take, forever known as Anhekt the Immortal.
FACTION NAME: Anehekt Dynasty SETTLEMENT NAME: Anehekt COLONY THEME: Headed by an extremely ambitious man, banished and hunted by the Central Authority due to his mastery of Mind-Shackle Implants. He and his closest followers seek immortality and a dominion amongst the stars to rule themselves as kings and queens.
POPULATION: Very few in the Anehekt Dynasty do not have the ubiquitous Mind Shackle Implant, a mechanical device fitted to a person's spine and skull which renders them entirely under the control of whoever is in control. All but the upper echelons are fitted with such devices however the Mind Shackle Implants can be adjusted to allow for more or less free will from being nearly independent with strong suggestions floating in ones mind to becoming as obeying and loyal as machines.
Only the extremely ambitious ever come to Anehekt, City of Kings, of their own free will. All others are either bred within the shifting sands or they are brought in as slaves, convicts or prisoners whose free wills will be drained and replaced with undying loyalty.
CRITICAL INFRASTURCTURE
ADMINISTRATION COMPLEX: There is a strict hierarchy to things in Anehekt where only loyalty and ambition is respected. At the very top is the Pharaoh who rules all with unquestioned power. Below him are the Viziers, the most powerful individuals below the Pharaoh and often take on grandiose names in a symbol of leaving whatever they had in the past behind them as they now serve the Pharaoh. And serving them are those whose loyalty are so strong that their Mind Shackle Implants are hardly needed, the Heralds who act as their master's eyes, ears and iron fist. The only others who are free of the MSIs are the Fabricators, those who oversee the Implant control networks and its implantation into hosts as well as the entombment of humans into constructs to they may transcend their mortal forms, willing or not.
Appearances wise, Anehekt sports a "glamorous ultiariansm" where while many of the buildings start as simple gunmetal colored buildings, they are soon covered in glyphs, art and detailing made of gold and jewels and iconography of death in an almost mocking way. All light is produced by obelisks and many buildings feature glowing lines of color to show whose domain it is. This creates a clashing sense of both ancient tombs and futuristic cleanliness that is all the more jarring with the silent, lifeless looking thralls who wander the streets doing their master's bidding.
SPACE ASSEST: The Obelisk of Heavens A great space elevator that shoots straight into the stars, the Obelisk is the primary port of entry for many of the resources and ships the colony demands. It is also a key part of the control network for the Mind Shackle Implants and thus heavily fortified and defended both in orbit and on the ground.
WRITE-IN ASSESTS:
1) River Lybria Agriopolis A massive farming center with many dozens of layers of massive farms so great that they have taken up the entire water supply of the River Lybria. All of the food for the colony is grown here and is also one of its chief exports to anyone who doesn't mind eating food harvested and grown by mind controlled tenant farmers. While mostly food is grown, a number of dyes are also grown for the used both to export and to color the cloth to display the magnificence of the Viziers and the Royarch.
2) Embalming Catacombs Part cloning facility, part Mind Shackle implantation facility, the underground Embalming Catacombs plays a critical role in Anehekt. Very few people come to the Conclave of their own free will and the even the act of buying prisoners of convicts isn't enough to quench the thirst for manpower. Thus dabbling in the forbidden art of cloning has been used to create legions of loyal, obedience thralls with little free will of their own to act as everything from guards to farmers.
3) Mausoleum Manufactures Some tasks require a more muscular and brutish application of force. As such, Anehekt entombs people into constructs loving designed and carved by the Fabricators believing that the undying loyalty of a mind shackled human is far greater than that of a corruptible AI. From these factories, constructs march out -some just taller than a human, others towering statues and titans- ready to serve their masters as they stand perfectly motionless like statues, awaiting orders.
4) The Carrion Call All of the control and command orders are routed through the Nexus Archive, sometimes called the "Carrion Call", boosted through the Obelisk of Heavens and further subdivided between Pylons that act as extensions of the network. It is through this which the will of the Viziers are done and the minds of the people controlled.
Proof of Concept v2. Ditched the pure mechanical industrial thing, now its just straight up mind control and egotistical maniacs who got exiled from the civilized worlds because of their mastery of mind controlling things with neural implants and trying to become immortal through cybernetics and gene modding like their yet to be made leader has managed some what.

Here's something I wrote up, more of a proof of concept thing over than a final thing since I realized we already have others with similar ideas to what I'm doing.
FACTION NAME: The Machina Conclave SETTLEMENT NAME: Installation Alpha Primaris COLONY THEME: Unrelenting Industry without limits or ethics. Extreme cybernetics are common and often produce horrific results. Immortality through machine, even if just a machine with a body. Artificial Intelligence is not to be trusted so humans hardwired into machines are used instead.
POPULATION: There is not a single unaugmented human within the Conclave as from birth, children are installed with hardware and cybernetics that they will constantly switch out as they grow. There is no pomp nor circumstance to the installation of new implants as they are seen as basic parts of life but should a child's body reject their new additions, they will be terminated and repurposed. Death is not an excuse to the Conclave leadership
By the time one has reached adult hood, their mechanical parts easily equal their organic parts, if not over take. Work has extreme importance as only industry matters and production with little leeway allowed. Thanks to extensive neural implants, even those who perish are often given life but put under direct control of their overlords, more as living robots than anything. Its often said there are no people in the Machina Conclave, only resources.
CRITICAL INFRASTURCTURE: Heavy Industrial Sector Whereas other settlements boast of large, strong industrial production area, only the Machina Conclave can boast of having the largest and most extensive as the entirety of Installation Alpha Primaris is a giant manufacturing with more factories and workshops than even living quarters. The mechanical augmentation its people endure are required for life as it is nearly impossible to sustain normal human life in the settlement between 18 hour work shifts and heavily polluted air. However, without the limitation of Old Earth, the Machina Conclave can produce a terrifying amount of goods and materials rivalling that of entire corporation from the Central Authority.
ADMINISTRATION UNITS: The Machina Conclave is a strict hierarchical oligarchy where merit and prestige will drive you up the ranks. At the lowest level are the Fabricator Minoris or "Forge Lord" who control single factories or facilities and are the most involved. Above them are the Fabricator Majoris or "Forge Overlords" who control entire districts of sprawling manufactories and compounds. At the very top is the Fabricator Rex or "Forge Master". Each position is obtained through election with only those who display cunning and power able to advance. In some ways, the system is akin to a feudal domain where the Fabricator Rex will still control a sizable personal domain while also lording over the rest of his peers.
Appearance wise, the Machina Conclave has little care for visual beauty and has an extremely dirty, gritty utilitarian design with pipework and cabling and conveyers reaching out from the buildings like a great web of machinery.
SPACE ASSEST: The Omniscient Resolve A massive mining vessel with its own onboard manufacturing plant spanning its entire length, the Omniscient Resolve has long been used to crack open asteroid and process its materials into anything and everything of worth. Powered by great fusion generators and with dozens upon dozens of entombed bodies acting as its AI, tt is nothing less than an void-born behemoth of iron and steel that hungers for the resources of industry. Perhaps most sinisterly is its EMP cannons, used to disable other ships before devouring it with its massive reclamation maw that grind and crush the entire ship and its contents down, humans on board or not.
WRITE-IN ASSESTS:
1) Deep Crust Bore 07 "Jörmungandr" Upon the skyline of Installation Alpha Primris, many will confuse the tallest tower on it as a skyscraper or some other building, but in truth it is the largest mining drill the Machina Conclave possesses. Nicknamed Jormungandr, its burrows beyond the planet's crust and straight into the heart of the planet to extract metals and minerals that flow within. Its said that anywhere between a third to a half of the entire raw resource extraction comes from Jormungandr alone.
2) Cloning Facility Very few people come to the Conclave of their own free will and the even the act of buying prisoners of convicts isn't enough to quench the thirst for labor the endless forges demand. As such, the Conclave has dabbled in the illegal science of cloning to increase its labor pool. The beings that come out of such facilities are often malformed and horrendous, soon encased in metal and machine to serve as tech-thralls and slaves to the finances and Forge Lords.
3) Titan 01 "Will of Iron" Correctly called a "God Engine", Titan 01 is an ambitious project of creating a massive bipedal engine of war to bring ruin to the enemies of the Machina Conclave. However, even with the myriad resources and manpower of the Conclave, the monster is barely constructed with only its frame, main reactor and but one turbo-laser cannon built. Thus far its sole purpose has been to defend Installation Alpha Primaris as a massive stationary turret and provide energy from its reactor core.
4) Communion Relay Nexus The figurative hub of data of the Conclave, the CRN acts as the main terminal for all tech-thralls and anyone who isn't a Forge Lord will be linked to the CRN so that they may be controlled directly. It is this Nexus which allows workers to be pushed beyond normal human limits to work and power the nervous system of the deceased to allow for the dead to continue their service and duty. All communications entire through its terminal and everything is controlled by the Nexus.
Also an idea for a society type: Band of Brothers. Basically a large group of survivors and refugee with minimal preperation but they have a lot of people in them.
Sulyvahn is more of a manipulative bastard who'd do well in political manuvering and social engineering. He'd be the one to try to become pope by making a deal with devil or Cthulu. His personality is in line of Dark Soul's phillosphy of show don't tell and his character is pieced together through his actions and interaction with others. Although if that doesn't sit well with the RP, I suppose I'll keep loooking. Might look at an Inquisitor/Commissar. Or maybe Lelouch. Or maybe someone else entirely. I'm sure I'll find someone soon.
Er, why Settra. Like... Settra's not even remotely a good choice because the armies aren't derived from his abilities so much as he'd have to be brought here along with half of Khemri. I'm not the GM but it doesn't seem like whatever's bringing people here is going to be so broad as to transport entire armies inexplicably?
And... that sort of scale is probably too large and he'd just get carpet bombed by the nearest military.
I guess he came to mind because of the Total Warhammer preorder?
Not really, I's just a huge fan of Warhammer and 40k. Plus I am somewhat interested in this and I can't recall any particular character in anime I'd really want to do. I just wanted to play someone outside of a pure goody two shoes plus it never hurts to have a focused antagonists in a story.
I can list off characters from those universe I could play as, all I need to know is what limitations and restrictions there are. As of now I've learned that they have to be single entities who don't gather too much attention alone.
