Bio

Hey, there. Myst here, as you've probably guessed. Can't exactly write in other people's bios, can you? But, you're probably reading this for a reason, so I'll get to it.

I prefer high-Casual and Advanced games, in a medieval, fantasy or sci-fi setting, because that's the sort of nerd I am.

I'm a thinker - I've thought a lot on certain things, and am firm in my beliefs. So you could ask me what I thought about a good few things and I could give a well-reasoned answer. Or a less reasoned answer based on my morals.

TheCharactersOfMyst - This is my storage for past and present characters, and where I might occasionally go for nostalgia and/or recycling a character I've used before.

Granted. Since it wasn't clear as to whether it was your wish or Luna's, I'm giving it to Luna. Luna, your chronic depression ends after two months, and given that robotics have advanced greatly during your six year coma, you now have three robotic fingers and the option of a cybernetic eye. And, upon leaving the hospital, you are greeted by the grandpuppies of your dog. All fifteen of them.

I wish I didn't have to catch up on so many youtube videos.
Notice the edit.
MUST I RAISE THE FIRES OF HELL UPON YOU, AMMOKKX?

Though in all seriousness I have only very rare shipping tendencies...
It's merely a suggestion. Up to you, since I know you've got ideas but not much plot or story laid out already.

I corrected your post for you. But this is why I'm asking everybody - it isn't just up to me - you guys are writing the story too.

(And I suppose a large part of the reason I want Ansgar to live is so that my Anslea ship can sail...)
Well, each Chapter has its own individual plot, alongside the overarching one, but that might well work, yes. Especially for Chapter One's plot.
Your gravitational pull was so strong that you collapsed in on yourself.

(Black holes are theorised to do this... and that's the most comparable thing, I feel)
(I don't know, Luna. I don't know... the first page might be a good place to start, though, if you're willing to slog through all of that time...)
And, I now pronounce the arrival of Chapter One! The rest of our characters should reconvene whenever, but soon, but I sort of wanted to get someone in here as soon as possible, since they've been so enthusiastic about it.

I'm also announcing the removal of Eisenhorn from the Rp. Despite repeated requests, they've not returned. Now, there just lies the matter of Ansgar. There's two options we have right now;

1) We write out the character. Basically we find a reason for him not to return. This can be lack of confidence(cowardice), a sudden serious injury or death, unacceptable behaviour, or something else I haven't thought of.

2) Somebody else takes on the character. I'm a little apprehensive, since I wasn't planning on having anybody having two combatant characters, but given some of the story aspects I've started writing in, Ansgar would have to stay. This is actually my preferred option. Ansgar could receive some kind of injury that stops him from participating, but that all depends on everybody here.

So, this is a decision I want everybody to make together.

Also, I'm going to mention that Enzayne hoped to have their computer troubles fixed soon, so everybody send their thoughts/hopes/prayers/curses their way, got it?
Endar Drayen

Endar looked to the mage. Her face was a little flushed from her dancing. And then to the man, the ex-gladiator. He seemed... sullen, somehow.

"...Come on! I don’t see your nursemaid about, so why not have some fun before the others arrive? You look as if it would do you some good!”

“You might consider taking her up on that, milord. I can stand around and look pensive while waiting for the others in your stead,”

"I... ah, as much as I appreciate your offer, Ashley, and your advice, Kailea... I do not believe it would be sensible for me to carouse in the crowd. You are free to do as you wish, but as long as the mediators are watching, I must conduct myself in such a manner that befits a sponsor and a noble."

He was going to continue, but something caught his attention. Some way down the street, people were moving to the sides, backing away from something he couldn't quite see. Stepping forwards, he craned his neck upwards - before stepping back in shock as the crowd parted fully.

Approaching the arena with their head held high was a creature, a Beast, with the torso of a man, but the colouring, the head, and tail of a serpent of the Sands. Dark blue in colour, almost similar to the night sky, it was swaying gracefully with each 'step' it took. Endar found himself stepping away, in a mixture of awe and fear, knowing that the sight before his eyes was a Naga.

A bone flew through the air, and struck the Naga on the back of its hood, on its false eye. The crowd became quieter than it had been even after the sight of the Beast, so far from home, who turned momentarily to look at where the bone had rolled.

It had come to rest at the feet of a young man, who was looking at the Naga with a sneer. And, but for a pair of scars marring his face, one across his eye, the other at a diagonal across his nose, he might have been handsome. But the look of contempt on his face was the far greater mar.

"Where d'you think you're goin', scaleback? That's the gladiator's arena."
