The door leading to the man's quarter in the hospital was a pull door, on Acion's perspective that was to say. As any person with common sense would know, inside was the patience's area, which should be in an almost silent state. As a result, so as not to disturb that, Acion opened the door slowly. And consequently he could not see his friend rushing at him at maximum speed...
"Argh!"
The door slammed right into his forehead. The edge of the door to be exact. The sudden pain rushed to his face was great enough that he let go of the door handle, allowing the door to swing wide open, giving Roy the way through. And he thought he was in grave danger
"He is such a rhino." The Sky Knight said as she took a side step, letting him pass, while Acion was clutching his head in pain. "Injuries that caliber and I would be on my bed for at least a day."
"He's heading for the girl's quarter. Must be worried about his girl."
'Damn it Roy...'
"Roy, wait!" The winged man said as he chased after him, turning right at the corner where he saw he turned.
But the moment Acion peeked into the hallway, he could see a familiar face, along with a not so familiar one. This is the face that had struck him in complete zero gravity just the other day.
"Mr Principal?" He uttered.
This struck the cord of the other three standing nearby.
"He's here." Though they weren't too surprised. He was always there whenever they got into trouble back during the days. Soon, the three heroes, or to the old Gravity Yarl, three Komei alumni, made their entrance to the two men standing in the hallway.
"Good evening Mr Hisakawa." And one of them spoke.
In terms of information, I'm pretty sure I'm done. In terms of BB codes...well...I may decorate further when I have more time
THOMAS LANCASTER
Name: Thomas Lancaster
Age: 24
Height: 175 cm / 135cm (Wheelchair)
Weight: 62 kg
Likes:
+Working: Work to him is a source of purpose and of meaning. Life would be meaningless without it
+Music: Most music genre in general. There are some particular he really enjoyed, like orchestral music. And there are some he doesn't, but the latter case is pretty rare.
+Hanging Out and Socializing: To an optimal degree, yes, he needed socialization. And he liked to do so, chilling out with people who he considered his friends and loved ones
+Moments of Solitude and Tranquility: Socialization has its limits. While he is a generous social spirit, he cannot be compared to party-lovers. Staying too long would tire him out.
Dislikes:
+Extremism: "Never deal in extreme. It will only cause harm in the long-run." - Thomas Lancaster
+Isolation: He enjoys working by himself and moments of self-reflection, but long period of isolation will prove detrimental to him, as he would be suspicious and cynical of people around him.
+Tasteless and Offensive Jokes: Especially aiming at his disability.
+Wasting Time: Every minute matters.
Appearance:
Zodiac Sign:
Virgo But doesn't really matter to him
Special Talent: Extensive knowledge of Computer concept. Analytical, calculative and critical thinking skill.
Profession: PhD student in Computer Science / Artificial Intelligence at Solaris Universatas
Personality:
It's pretty obvious that Thomas is a person of impartialness. He always seeks for a balance in his social and private life. He prefers to work by himself, and enjoys moments of solitude to comprise his ideas together, to reflect upon himself and simply to recharge from his social life. But overdoing it would mean isolation, and that would not do with him. He would easily get cynical and suspicious of people around him when it happens.
The same goes with socialization. Thomas is aware of the emptiness that comes in his moments of solitude, so he would usually reach out to his friends, loved ones to satisfy his social life. Whether it is just a cup of coffee or at a dance party (even if he can't dance), he does not shy away from those activities when he needs it. But doing too much, and it would tire him out. And it will cause him great frustration and irritation. Those are the two areas that anyone who wishes to walk along with him in his path should know and avoid. And not many people can find the perfect middle point. Some nurses who took care of him before had gotten into conflicts with him because they breach into either those two zones. That is why getting into a close relationship with him proves a little difficult.
When well-balanced, however, Thomas can be a charming, gentle and funny gentleman. A passionate man to his work, and compassionate to people going through hard times, and is very aware of the preciousness of life itself, as he had been through a rough childhood time. He can be the light to the party that he goes to, or the light that shines through the realms of technology and science, given that you give and respect the variables it takes for him to get there.
Background:
His early life has been far from being harsh. He grew up in a wealthy and intellectual family. His parents were successful financial investors in America, and was wealthy enough to ensure a thorough pursuit of knowledge to him and his two sisters. His oldest sister is a criminologist who had a PhD in victimology, now currently doing her research at a large institute. His other sister is a qualified doctor at a hospital.
From primary to middle school, he attended prestigious schools and proved to be quite a mind. He isn't at the top of the class, 'thanks to' the poor and counter-productive teaching method, but some of the kids looked up at Thomas for his quick perception, non-linear learning style and the ability to think up of unusual concepts.
The first giant rock standing in his life path is the faithful accident when he was only fifteen. He was on a visit to France, particularly he was on a hot-air balloon, flying around the countryside. The balloon, for some technical reasons, crashed onto the ground, along with Thomas and a few other passengers. While the passengers had a varying degree of injuries, Thomas took the worst of it. The height of the crash was not too high, but it caused a serious leg injury. Severe enough that it completely robbed him of the ability to use the legs forever.
His life took an abrupt turn in a span of just a few minutes. The accident really took his toll on him, both physically and mentally. From a well-abled person, he is now handicapped, and must rely on the use of his wheelchair to move around. That really was a lot of stuff placed on the shoulder of a fifteen years old. He had to go through tons of physical examination, in a hospital environment that could be really isolating. He initially was very depressed over the incident, and once thought that he may never make it through.
But he did.
All the medication, the examination and treatment eventually came to an end, and he was discharged. Knowing that the neighborhood the Lancaster family was living in doesn't really support handicapped people, they had Thomas move to Sol City. Initially, his parent moved there with him, but then left, due to several personal issues, leaving him a personal nurse to tend for him whenever he needs it. There, the money he was supported from the accident, combined with the assistance from his family, he is able to finish his general education and university. Life got a lot better for him, and when he was eighteen, he attended university. The first year of his life there was relatively easy for him, so he could easily get lonely with his work. As a result, he developed a social habit, to hang out with friends and join various clubs that suit his interests. The only club he found passion in was the Robotic Club, in which he stayed for a few years until his doctoral years.
After university, he was given a pass to the PhD program where he studied, in which he chooses Artificial Intelligence as a subject for his graduate work. He is now into his third year of doctoral studies, and is working on a thesis about the consciousness of robots

So I have decided to only make him leg paralyzed, so he cannot walk. But he can still use his arms, eat, drink and speak well, so it wouldn't inconvenience the players that much. For moving around, he would simply use an electric wheelchair that he can control using his fingers. I intend to make him a person who doesn't want outside help unless totally necessary, so even though he has nurses at home, he would usually go out by himself. For movements in places that doesn't really assist wheelchair use, I'd probably have an NPC, like a fellow colleague, or maybe ask a player to help. There maybe more subtle things that I may have not addressed, but I'm sure I'll be able to address it
My concept is a paralyzed man, for some childhood reasons, who have to use a wheelchair to move around. The extent of the paralysis I'm still considering, but I'm thinking of just the bottom half of his body. I mean my original idea that I have been writing on a fiction is a man with ALS and him advancing through different stages of the disease, but the two worlds are a little different, as one has advanced enough tech to let him talk almost normally. I thought that bringing the whole ALS thing may be a little inconvenient, so I think changing it would be a sound idea.
For some reasons, I feel very interested in this one. I have a character concept that I have been writing on, and may want to copy it over here to get a feel of it
Dai possesses an utopian personality. His utopia is basically a world of classless and safe society, where lineages or social status do not matter. They still exist, but does not boost or hamper their progress in life. A place where the people work more for the benefit of the commons and less for themselves, and every individuals would be evaluated according to their ability, and rewards are distributed accordingly to that aspect. An ideal that is almost dead in this world, with the rampage of self-interests, greed or just plain ignorance or laziness.
He is a true egalitarian, rarely prejudiced and would not accept social biases. His motivation for his generalship is to fight, not for the Red Star corporate, but rather for the world he envisioned. It just so happens that the Red Star has a relatively similar ideology. And because most people consider such views naïve, he is initially very disappointed of various aspects of life. As he progress on in his studies and travels of the world, he eventually grew to distaste many of the corporates handling the world, either because he thinks their ideologies, despite looking effective at first glance, will turn back and bite them in the long-run, or just plain disgusting (i.e Denver-Vegas's prison games). But on the other hand, he had grown to be more pragmatic, but still fighting for his ideals.
Dai will work tirelessly to make his utopian dream come into reality, or at least a fraction of it, or die trying. And with it, he is not above committing acts like brainwashing or propaganda to keep his people in check. But he mostly do this out of care rather for personal interests. He also regards immoral evil acts very critically, and will not hesitate to punish them brutally if they refuse to rehabilitate
To his army, Dai appeals the most to the common soldiers, with each soldiers referring Dai intimately, and their commander loving them as if they were his sons, but were not afraid to send them to their deaths if it proves a necessity. In both combat and non-combat scenario, he is a strong-willed, calm yet sensitive and considerate person.
Backstory:
Dai was born on Paracel Islands, a group of island in South China Sea, to a quite well-off intellectual yet total commoner family. He is, as expected of his family lineage: an intelligent and non-linear thinker, with keen interests in economic (he dreamt of being an economist when he was a little kid) and military strategies, allowing him to earn enrollments in many places around the world. The Red Star Corporate soon took notice of him, and promised to back his education abroad in Military Academies. And there...is when his disappointment began.
He first visited the North American Corporates and was disgusted at how the ruling classes acted. So he left and stayed at Paragon Industrial. His stays was alright, but the condescension to his commoner status drives him away too. His only prolonged stay in his trip is to Al Amir, to which the only faction he sympathizes, at least to his standard. He disliked the genius tax policy, but learnt his pragmatism there. He did not go to other places, but learnt extensively of their situation there.
Returning to Red Star Shelter Solutions after the long study trip, the now 27 years old Dai, from all the problems of Corporates worldwide, Dai was convinced that only a centralized, authoritarian but benevolent and open-minded government would be able to solve these problems, and that the citizens should not contain the characteristics of self-interest. But then, the war happened between Volkov and Red Star, a forgotten war, concealed by media coverage.
Volkov and Red Star is commonly known to be allies and trade partners, but inside, there were overall dispute and hatred for each other over foreign policy, and were concerned of each other's advancement in military technology. Border clashes occurred more and more frequently until one day, after a failed agreement, Volkov's board of directors decided to initiate a massive attack on the Red Star's North Eastern border, a move in which they perceived as 'punishment'.
Dai enlisted for military service as a result. He was initially placed for NC pilot testing, but his sync ratio was fairly low. Normally, Red Star would try to modify him to fit, but because of his educational background, Dai was placed in the officer role, and received proper training. He is granted the rank of Captain by the age of 29. His first successful victory is at an occupied village called Hien, where he personally, on the field himself, led an NC vs NC attack on the Volkov forces. The attack was completely unprecedented, with Red Star forces managing to hang on to their close ranged combat tactic. All Volkov's NCs were disabled, their pilots captured, with no Red Star casualties.
He was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel for his outstanding action. He proceeded to execute a variety of raid attacks across the occupied Red Star territory in Volkov's hand, thus furthering his ranks and reputation among Red Star officials. The peak of his career occurred during the battle of Seoux, the only large engagement and publicly-known battle in this 'taboo' war.
In this particular battle, the Volkov initially entrenched themselves in this particular valley, attempting to employ the Al-Amir style of defensive tactics, in response to Dai's raiding tactics. They expected the Red Stars to be unable to employ their usual tactics, but they were proven very very wrong. Dai secretly redesigned and deployed his carriers directly into combat with the NCs. So instead of having the NCs being deployed elsewhere and then move up close for combat, the carriers went straight into combat, acting in conjunction with the NCs. The newly improved design slightly decreased the speed, the load capacity of the carriers, but with a higher protective armor and fast firing secondary guns that allow for close range brawls. This shocked the Volkov, as their forces were unprepared for the firepower that came their way. They were swiftly wiped out, and many were taken prisoners. Some perished in those enclosed and brutal prisons.
The Volkov and Red Star discreetly came to a peace treaty. For Dai, this ensured an instant promotion to Lieutenant General, and was passed the baton of command of his newly improved army he led at Seoux, along with one more army corps.
Tactical Preferences and Skills:
Dai is an establish tactician, capable of adopting many different strategies and tactics. He has studied many battlefield theories from the great military generals in history. He firmly and highly emphasizes the value of 'logistics', that his army must be well-supplied both in terms of the physical and the mental. One of his principals of war includes: attack quickly if you know your enemy can sustain themselves better than you, and slowly when your enemy cannot. In an encounter battle, Dai prefers a close ranged attack strategies, the same strategies employed at Seoux, sending in his carriers and support ships to work in conjunction with the NCs to overwhelm his opponents.
Outside of generalships, Dai is a capable foot soldier, capable of using his guns well. In other fields, he is also pretty good at administration and economy.

Aurelia had been trained physically pretty well, yet she was straining to carry this guy dead on her back.
On that note, who the hell is this guy anyway? He didn't seem like Komei students. He had a sword, a real sword for fighting purposes. And he was someone who she'd expect no less in terms of skills if he was in the Sky Knight. Hell, she wouldn't be surprised if he turned out to be in some sort of hero groups or so. But his quirks were somewhat close to the Shadow Clan members, and the fact that dead of a freak gave him a brotherly sort of address. It was stimulating, yet suspicious and worth of caution.
The hospital is in less than ten minutes of flight. She landed right in front of the gate and, with Takeshi on her back, carried him in.
"Excuse me, there is an emergency here." 'That man.'
Just before, he saw Shortcut before he left. He did not pay attention to him in battle, but he looked very similar to Jett. Same quirk and same usage. Did he really help him and the Sky Knights here along with those people? If he did, Acion was very grateful, but it could be his family member. Who knows. He did not see his face clearly.
Anyway...
"Our work is done for the day. We can go back now."
"I'm not going back yet." But Acion clearly stated. "I have to make sure my friends are alright in there."
The dragon girl looked at him for long, as he spread his six wings and left. Her battlefield judgement were rarely wrong. His friends were very hurt in this battle. His sister also fought an uphill battle here. And considering the fact that he ran away that moment to gather the knights, he may have felt a little bit of guilt for leaving his beloved. They were hurt. She honestly had no qualms about him doing so. It was actually a wise decision to flee, instead of running into the fight, and would inevitably his grave. But she could understand why he might feel so. She was grown and experienced enough to sympathize. He's still young. He'll learn.
"Wait." She said as she took off after him. "Someone stay and handle the police. The rest can dismiss." Takeshi had now been carried into the hospital room as soon as the hospital staff saw the state he was in. For Albert, after taking Michiko and Roy to the hospital, he was about to rush back to assist his brothers and sisters when the news came that they had already taken care of things. Now he was keeping Aurelia company in the hallway, waiting for the result, and perhaps for some of the Komei's staff to arrive. She had called the principal, The Gravity Yarl, to inform about this situation, but she was certain that this call was pretty much unneeded. With this many involved, he would definitely be rushing here right now.
Suddenly, the hospital went into microwave mode. It heated up in just a few seconds, from an unknown source. But to Aurelia, she knew pretty well this pattern.
"Mother?"
She said, addressing who, to her, would be her second mother out there. Was she here?
That moment, Acion and Forte burst into the hallway, a little hurried.
"Are you alright, sister?" Acion asked, frowning in worries
Aurelia patted her back in smiles.
"The doctor said it is just sores. Light injuries at most, that it won't affect work performance."
"And about my friends?"
"That I do not hear too much. But it's certain that they are alright. Out of danger now."
It was only at this moment when Acion breathed a sigh of relief. It's tough being the only student to stay relatively okay while the other people almost perished. And in an unexpected, but not entirely out of context, he gave his sister a hug. Between brothers and sisters, he was really glad she was safe.
"Now now. We are no longer children." Though she didn't express it accordingly, she appreciated the thought. And he let go.
"Should I come in there?" He said.
"Well, I suggest not at the moment." Aurelia replied, implied by the sheer heat coming out of the room. It was less hot than before, but still. For someone without a heatproof quirk or protection gear, not a good idea to go in. "There's the other guy though. The blonde kid."
"Is he alright enough for me to come in?"
"I just see the nurse come out. They appear to have finished with the treatment." Abert said, sitting in the bench nearby.
"Alright." Acion said as he walked for the door leading to Roy's hospital room. Quietly opening the door, he could still see his best friend still blacked out, looking calm and peaceful, wrapped up in bandages.
Looking back, Acion was unsure. The three heroes assertively gave him the gesture to enter.
