89% of magic tricks are not magic. Technically, they are sorcery.

Jeremy's on standby, basically just watching. He doesn't have much in the way of offensive capability for the most part. He might try to attack it's mind, but if it doesn't have a mind or it isn't capable of being pierced, his actions are going to be extremely limited.

"Heh... indeed..." That was really all Kevin had to say to Minx's statement, too busy studying those who had appeared there. He knew Ventus, at least he thought he did, but his memory was a bit twitchy for the moment... the new guy also seemed a bit familiar, but his head hurt trying to think of what his memories had to say about them. This, combined with the skittering and scratching in the back of his mind, created a rather annoying duo. He didn't say anything else, removing his mask and gripping the bridge of his nose with his thumb and forefinger.
Jeremy paused, breathing heavily, before turning his head. He heard fighting, and saw a pillar of light. It seemed that things were already getting interesting without him, but he saw they were just around the way. He also saw that there was a nearby, low building that seemed perfect for an aerial view. Jeremy noted to himself that he wasn't much of a fighter, more of a one-on-one, drive-you-insane-and-torture-you kind of guy, so staying above the fighting and keeping an eye on things seemed like the best way to go it. The man ran over to the building and began scaling it, grabbing onto windowsills, pipes, anything loose that might give him a leg up.

After Jeremy finished climbing, he started creating something he liked to call the illusory sphere. Kin to the illusory wall, the benefit of the illusory sphere was that it could hide his presence from anyone in all 360 degrees. All he had to do was take his time to make it the right shape and size, and as long as nothing truly distracted him, he was theoretically undetectable. However, attempting to use it on a moving target that isn't as small as a person tends to be very, very difficult; bordering on the impossible. As such, his walk over to the edge of the building in order to observe what was happening was long and slow, constantly adjusting the sphere placement so that he could remain hidden, watching from above.
Aww good shite. I meant to put up a fucking post about two days ago, but it apparently didn't post it when I hit post and closed out.

Sorry about that, I'll get something up as soon as possible. School's starting in two days for me and I have yet to finish my projects, so I'm kind of rushing to make things happen. Procrastination is a bitch, but so far, so good.

Sorry if anyone's offended by the language too (mild as it is), but I'm kind of angry at myself for not double-checking my post like usual.

Jeremy turns, facing the source of the power wave, a dark well of gravity tugging on his mind. Becoming distracted, all of his illusions fell apart, left now with only his true location. "Well, that seems interesting..." Jeremy remarks, before tearing up the sidewalk, still standing at the mouth of the alley the whole time as his creation had conversed with Dustin. After that electric shock, he knew he had to be careful, and as such he had worked slowly and meticulously to create a perfect mirror of himself that would continue the conversation. It was this mirror image which had been pretending to merely screw around with his powers, making it seem like he was less skilled than he had become. He was lucky that he had been given plenty of time to craft his masterpiece while he and Dustin had been conversing.

Though a month isn't that long when introduced to something brand new, he had come to learn that these abilities had become second nature to him. He just had to trust in the power that piece of glass bestowed upon him. That shock and dinosaur illusion had helped him completely by luck though, or else his copy would not have hidden his bioelectric aura, alerting Dustin to his trickery. Though he had been quick and slap-stick with that addition, it was by sheer luck that he didn't accidentally mess it up on his double. Now, though, he was less interested in investigating Dustin and more interested in whatever this new thing was.

Running at a fairly quick pace, Jeremy thought about what he was just discussing with Dustin. This power wave, to him, proves just what he was hoping for. It really is more than meets the eye. There's something more going on here. These thoughts were what allowed him to so quickly become apathetic to Dustin's unwillingness to come with him. Even if he didn't come now, their paths would cross later. Even though this was just assumption on top of assumption, Jeremy was confident that he was on to something here, and he wasn't about to miss what could possibly be the main event.
