@KenjuGuy I plan for the tournament to be open registration and it will be opening with my next IC post, and @Double If you want an excuse to be invited I can work it in.
Okay guys, from this point forward it seems we have a full build fighters team!! Lets all have fun throwing plastic models at eachother!
@KenjuGuy So far your character looks good to go! Welcome aboard, go ahead and post in CS when you're ready.
@Double Zenshin is a private school, so if that works with his backstory sure
@KenjuGuy There is indeed an open spot.

On any regular day at the Iori Shopping Center, the visiting patrons of the lower three floors would never make a casual stop at the 4th floor arcade unless they were planning on it beforehand. However, today is different, because today the Takemori arcade shop is holding a special 4 hour “Beginners Event!” from 10 am to 2 pm. For only 500 yen, anyone, both young and old, can buy these limited gunpla featuring the Universal Century Zaku II model, the After Colony OZ-06MS Leo model, and the Post Disaster Graze model. And to truly help beginners, during the event a small demonstration on building occurs. Posters for the event have been plastered around the center for the past 2 weeks, and have gathered the attention of local young fans hoping to build their first models. This event, partnered with a small locals tournament happening right after the event, is what brings Yukihiro Naoki to Takemori Arcade in order to help out the shop owner, Shinrai Takemori.

In the sitting area of the arcade, tables are placed out in rows with a single table at the front for the instructor, Naoki, to demonstrate to the class how to properly build a gunpla. The class consisted of mostly elementary school students with a couple of parents joined in as well.

Naoki finished attaching the head of a Graze gunpla to the chest before showing the connected parts to the class. “After you’ve combined your separated parts, your gunpla is complete!” He said before combining the arms, then the waist and legs of the Graze.

“If no one has any more questions, I think it's about time for us to wrap up this lesson.” he said as the children began to chatter amongst themselves, showing off to each other their gunpla and some even running to the terminals in the back to try them out.

One of the boys ran up to Naoki, holding up a Zaku II with a smile, “U-um, sensei how does my Zaku look?.”

Naoki instantly recognized the boy as Tomiyoka, a shy boy whose mom worked at one of the stores, and who would also come to watch the battles at the arcade. “It looks great Tomiyoka. I’m surprised with how well you sanded the parts down, not a nub remnant in sight.” The young boy smiled with glee before bowing and running off to his mother who had been waiting in the back.

Naoki smiled with glee before stretching a bit before looking around, seeing faces new and old around the arcade made him happy. He even saw some people with his school uniform but didn’t get a look at their faces at the time. He glanced at the clock on the wall. 1 o'clock. In 15 minutes the final building lesson would begin, and then immediately after that, at 2, the tournament would start up. "I wonder ... will I meet who I've been looking for?" He whispered as he glanced at the crowd.

In the back of the arcade stood a group of 5 students wearing white uniforms with the emblem for Zenshin High, in the center of the group stood Seiichi Seo , the leader of the Zenshin Gunpla Club. “I can’t believe we have the luck to run into that Yukihiro bastard.” He said as he watched the boy prepare for his next lesson. “He thinks he can just reject our offer and smile about it! He even had the nerve to insult us while he did it!”.

One of his friends butted in. “Don’t even sweat it Seiichi, I overheard him talking to one of the kids, he’s entering the tournament today. If our info about the tournament is correct we’ll have our chance to crush him there.”

“We’ll break his gunpla to scrap and trash.” Another said with a laugh.

@Double That’s pretty cool and I’m trying to do something similar right now For both my own and our enemies gunplas. Also finally took a look at the pic of the metal angel and it’s super cool!

@Blade17 Yeah that seems like the plan so far, so expect the first post either tomorrow or late tonight
I’ve also decided that your “Main Gunpla” can have slightly higher stats. But keep in mind if this RP goes for a long time I’d like us all to eventually have upgrades and stuff
@Double@Blade17

Now that there are three of us I’d like to start the first “Arc” of our story either tomorrow or the day after. As said above the beginning will take place at the Iori Shopping Center, basically a mall. So whether your there for the tournament happening in the afternoon or the Gunpla event that’s happening beforehand find a reason for your character to be there
Aster yawned as he quickly packed his bags, his Floette, Ms. Sunnyday, floating behind him while patting down and combing Asters long, let down hair. “Thanks again as always Sunny!” He said as he finished putting the last of his belongings into his bag. “Toothbrush, toothpaste, portable lamp … yeah this should be everything!” He said as he grabbed his now combed hair and quickly put it up into a bun. “I’m all ready!” He said before taking out his pokeball and returning his Pokémon to its ball.

Looking up at the clock on the wall he immediately realized he was running behind schedule and rushed out of the guest room of the Pokémon center. Aster rushed to the counter to check in for the Project, and was eventually registered by the woman, who he quickly learned was named Asahi, and given his quest. “Your first trial mission is to retrieve a feather of Moltres. Once you’ve acquired it, call for one of our Corviknights with your Rotom-phone and after I verify the feather, your first token will be sent to you."

“That’s great to hear, thanks!” Aster explained as he logged the quest into his notes on his phone. “Have a good day mam!”

As he walked away from the counter, Aster took out Echo’s pokeball, the large bat looking at its trainer through the device. “We’ve only been in this region for a day and already we’re being sent out to search for proof of a legendary Pokémon!” The Noivern in the pokeball nodded, although not as excited as his trainer, he was indeed interested in the mission.

Finally taking a second to breath, Aster realized something. He had know he wasn’t the only one who signed up for Project Mew, he had even met and talked to one his age on the plane ride yesterday, but he hadn’t really gotten a good look at the others. Some looked strong, some looked like they had more experience in their eyes then he had in all his body, but what got Asters attention the most was … “OH MY GOD A RIOLU!!” Aster shouted as he slid across the floor to be face to face with the small Pokémon. “Amazing! I heard that riolus were incredible rare, I never thought I’d see one!”

Then , almost as quickly as he appeared, Aster immediately scooted back and stood up at the realization that he was kneeling in front of not one but two people (@Atomdusk@Smarty Jones) who are probably looking at him like he’s crazy. “A-ah, sorry about that, got a bit too excited there. The names Aster.”
