If you want to play both Fallout 3 and New Vegas, I'd recommend trying out A Tale of Two Wastelands.

If they at least have the decency to say that they're leaving instead of simply ghosting the RP, that's good enough to me.

@Raineh Daze Regarding the silver dagger, it's not uncommon in RPG settings for certain supernatural creatures like werewolves and vampires to be vulnerable- or at least not resistant- to silver. As you said, silver is too soft to make a decent blade by itself, so such "silver" weapons are typically silver-plated iron or steel weapons.
Heavily armored, undead, and wielding massive weapons with inhuman strength? Sounds like a Dark Souls boss. Jolly Cooperation is clearly the only course of action for Fleuri and Klaus.
Fleuri turned over another of the fallen cultists. This one's dead too. He had hoped that there'd be at least one left alive for the knights to interrogate, but it seemed that none were left breathing. Fortunately, and more importantly, none of the knights or innocents died either. Fleuri would need a replacement horse, but for now, he would make do with one of the fallen bandits' mounts.
What could their plan have been? Too few to overwhelm us, too weak to outmatch us, too aggressive to lure us into a trap, and too dumb to spring a trap on us. Were they even attacking us by their own free will? No, I'd best not overthink this, he thought to himself. He knew better than to underestimate any foe, but he also knew that over-analysis could lead to indecisive hesitation. For now, they would press onward cautiously and complete this delicate mission.

Fleuri arose from his bed in Candaeln, feeling restless despite the long and taxing day before, the ambush still weighing on his mind. Unable to go back to sleep, and with the captain and much of the order still seemingly asleep, he donned his boots, gambeson, and mantle, grabbed his dagger, and headed out to the courtyard to get some practice in with his secondary weapon.
As he stepped outside, it seemed he was not the only person out at this hour. One of the other knights was already in the courtyard, deftly swinging her sword. Her name was Klaus, if he recalled correctly. She was a younger knight, but still a veteran of the order of a few years. A peculiar lass, that one.
"Good morning, sister-in-arms," Fleuri said, approaching her. "I see I'm not the only one feeling restless."
Thanks for moving things along. I was hoping at least one of the cultists could be taken alive, but I suppose between their frenzied state and the danger posed to the noncombatants, it wasn't an option for the knights.
I doubt either side will actually do anything beyond continue to make empty threats. The only difference between then and now is that it's no longer one-sided on North Korea's part.
The Jodeau family is known for its devotion to Reon, and originally, Fleuri was no exception. Tutored by priestesses and paladins, he was brought up to be honorable, selfless, and devoted. During his time as a tournament competitor, he cast many of these values off, becoming proud, materialistic and glory-seeking, desiring above all else to obtain the fame and wealth that his family no longer possessed. After being humbled by his near-death experience, he has returned to his old ways as a faithful worshiper of the sun goddess. He still craves the thrill of tournament combat, and would not be above participating to aid the church again, but for now, he has more important duties. Unlike some of his contemporaries, he supports the Iron Rose Knights' method of choosing the captain, for in his eyes, it is the will of Mayon.
Those who have met him can attest that Fleuri is a man of action. He is hot-blooded and quick to act or speak, but is not as foolish or impulsive as some believe- his experience fighting in tournaments taught him the importance of quick thinking and decisive action when windows of opportunity appear. When he speaks, he never makes claims he cannot back up with his actions and never makes promises that he does not believe he can keep.
Brief Backstory:
Fleuri Jodeau was born to a minor noble family in northern Thaln known for its with strong ties to the Church of Reon, and for having given up most of its wealth and land a century ago when it ended serfdom in its holdings to please the goddess. While his family had little in terms of wealth or holdings, the clergy provided that which his family could not. Consequently, Fleuri received an education from Reonite priestesses and was trained in knightly combat by Reonite paladins. When he was knighted, shortly after the end of Phoran Cal's rebellion, he set out into the world to serve as a knight-errant, spreading the word of Reon.
During his travels, he began entering the tournaments in the lands he passed through, where, with many of Thaln's knights dead or disgraced as a result of the war, there was a shortage of contenders. Utilizing the training he had received from the Reonite paladins, Fleuri proved himself a capable tournament fighter, and as time went on, he became increasingly successful on the tourney grounds. At the same time however, he began to drift from his original purpose and turned his mind to fame and wealth. He stopped aiding those he passed, and began planning his journeys solely for the purpose of competing in tournaments.
While traveling to one such competition, he fell deathly ill from a fever and sought aid from the Church. As he laid there, tended to by the priestesses, all he could think about was how he had fallen from his path, more concerned with gold and glory than helping others, and now faced the prospect of dying before he could make amends and correct his mistakes. When he recovered, he attributed it to the will of the goddesses and rededicated himself to fighting evil and aiding the innocent. Fleuri may not have died, but he was reborn.
During the next tournament, he fought harder than he ever had before, and when the dust settled, he was the last man standing in the infantry melee. Hailed as a champion, and standing on the precipice of fame and glory, he proved himself a changed man when he donated the prize to the church and soon afterward petitioned to join the Iron Rose Knights. Since ending his tournament career, Fleuri has served the order faithfully.
Equipment: Fleuri wears a suit of armor he acquired during his tournament career, and bears his family's colors and heraldry. He wields a Zweihänder and carries a dagger as a secondary weapon.
Skills: Fleuri has been trained in the use of a variety of knightly weapons, but he is most experienced and proficient in the wielding of greatswords. He employs an aggressive and surprisingly fast-paced fighting style not atypical for devotees of Reon, moving and attacking far more swiftly than his armor and heavy weapon would suggest. Off the battlefield, his adept footwork makes him a decent dancer.
Fleuri had barely enough time to assess what was going on when the arrows fell upon him. One arrow struck him square in the chest, embedding in the cloak he wore but failing to penetrate the cuirass hidden behind it. The second arrow buried itself in his horse's skull, felling it instantly. As the others formed up a shield wall ahead of his fallen form, others pulled Fleuri- shaken but unhurt- free of his fallen mount. Grateful to be alive, he rose to his feet and threw off his cloak. This was a bad idea, coming through this pass, he thought to himself as he off the cloak that had concealed his armored form, then put on his helmet and drew his greatsword from a scabbard strapped to his horse's saddle. They may be impervious to pain, but their maddened state would only make them easier to kill.
As he weaved through the knights, Fleuri took a moment to assess his opponents. No reaction to pain. No concern for self-preservation. Likely frenzied beyond reason, he concluded as he moved forward. He was not one to fight defensively, nor was he one to hide behind others. His opportunity came when the shield wall was breached not far from where he was, and two maddened women pushed through. One was masterfully incapacitated by the knight she had attacked, but the other pushed inwards, with no regards for her own safety.
"For Thaln! For Reon!" he shouted, rushing in. Lacking the room to swing his massive sword normally, he gripped it by the ricasso, half-swording it, and swung at the enemy's neck, decapitating her and putting an abrupt end her assault. It was gruesome business, but for the sake of the people behind him, it had to be done. Fleuri then made his way to the gap in the shield wall, stepping over the fallen knight and impaling an overzealous attacker on his zweihander. He was not fond of fighting defensively in a formation like this- he would much prefer to step out and take the fight to them, making heads and bodies fly- but duty demanded he hold the line.
