Damn, it's really been three years since I last did anything on this site, huh? ...Maybe it's time I do something about this.

So I just finished up a long D&D session with friends. Near the end one of them may have asked if they could roll to yeet a random cat across the town... Nat fucking 20.

A snow and ice storm that shuts down most of the city... in April. Never change Canada.
@Aiyanna Ah, my apologies, I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable. I'll give warnings if stuff gets graphic/gross. If you want to write first go right ahead, just bear in mind that I can be a touch slow responding at times.
@Aiyanna Yeah, I think that could work out pretty well.
Also since I have your attention, in an earlier post you asked if we could leave a warning when there is "trigger stuff" in a post. It may sound stupid or insensitive but I'm... not really sure as to what that means. I'll happily leave warnings, but I need to know what exactly warrants a warning.
Ok... wow that is a lot of posts that happened while I was gone, seriously a guy goes to sleep for a few hours and he comes back to a veritable maelstrom of posts. Regardless, I've now got to figure out where to come in, seeing as the nurses office is a touch crowded I may just slide my way over to the greenhouse.
Details: Remove the piercing, collar, and bandage. Hair is a dull light blue Height : 5'5
Personality: Silas is hot-tempered and highly competitive, refusing to be beaten until he's given 110%. Stubborn in his opinions and generally headstrong, he tends to come off as rude and uncouth even though he doesn't intend to be. Silas is usually upfront with how he says things, most of the time thinking with his heart rather than his head. Silas is incredibly loyal and protective towards those he cares about, going out of his way to help them if need be.
History: Born the eldest of two sons to an earth elementalist couple, Silas was guarded from the prejudices against elementalists for a good part of his childhood. He'd been fond of both water and the creatures that lived in it for as long as he could remember. Just before his 14th birthday Silas' elemental power over water started to manifest, he was overjoyed and he saw it as the best possible gift he could recieve.
Soon after, people's attitude towards Silas changed as nobody wanted to be associated with an elementalist. "Don't talk to him, he's one of those freaks" Silas would not admit that his powers were something to be shunned, so he was hated by many of the kids, he even ended up getting into one or two physical fights with the particularly daring children. Worried for what might happen if Silas kept getting in fights with other kids over him being an elementalist, his parents sent him away to the Elemental Academy so he could hone his powers and learn some discipline.
Originally planned on making a calm and level-headed fire elementalist, but seeing as we already have a male fire character I may have decided to do the opposite. Anyway here he is!
Also, apologies in advance for the edgy picture, I've been looking for a good three hours and I need to sleep now so I'm just using this one.

I've been lurking around here long enough, it's time to come out of the shadows. This looks like so much fun and I would love to join, I just have one question.
When an elementalist gains enough experience with their respective element, would they be able to "specialize" into something that fits under that element? For example would an earth elementalist be able to specialize into say stone or sand?
if you guys need a devil's advocate for bad ideas *Hey how about you use metronome on that pokemon. *
I even can see Zorua walking off somewhere and then a hour later comes running to you guys for dear life with a bunch of angry pokemon/trainers at his tail.
Dear god Zorua really is going to be the demon child little brother of Seth's team
@Hylozoist@CriticalHit Alright, since it looks like we'll be able to move ahead soon, I'd like to start coming together on how Seth encounters Shinx and Togepi. If either of you have an idea or preference for that or nicknames, I'm happy to hear them.
Well as far as capture goes I did have a few ideas, they involve Shinx getting closer to / inside Viridian City and therefore Seth after fighting a bunch of wild pokemon. Now I'm not sure how I want the next part to play out.
I could have Shinx become overconfident in his abilities and as such he gets utterly stomped by a much stronger pokemon he picked a fight with. This loss would only add to his desire for power so Shinx then seeks out a trainer willing to help him become as strong as the stories he has heard.
Or I could have Shinx running from some rather angry pokemon and as a result he ends up in Viridian City while trying to find somewhere to hide from them, if Shinx is unsuccessful he will likely get the tar kicked out of him. If this happens Shinx will try to find a trainer so that he can become strong enough to stop these pokemon and get revenge on them.
Like I said earlier, I'm not sure how I want this to pan out, but these are just a few ideas I had. If you have any ideas on where I can go from here, please tell me.
On the topic of nicknames however... I have no ideas, at least not at the moment.
EDIT : I've gotten some new ideas and will be pming you soon!
