Red stood behind the counter smiling as she stared at the door of her shop expectantly. She had been dead certain that the next person in her shop would be the crier. The mere thought of him stumbling through the door floundering desperately for some kind of clue or lead her could use to solve the murder. Countless possibilities excited the back of Little Riding Hood's brain. Could she successfully lie? Send him on a wild goose chase? Get him mad and ruin his reputation? The young girl practically bounced in place and nearly leapt off the floor when the door finally opened.

"I knew it was-!"

Surprise exploded across Red's face as a tall, pale skinned women walked through the door holding what looked like an assortment of groceries. Landing back on her feet Red quickly collected herself and went back to smiling, grasping her hands together as she leaned over the counter.

"Things are going very well today. In fact I just sold a big plate full of my frosted cupcakes to a family just a few minutes ago. It's really sweet of you to ask ma'am!"

The red hooded girl nodded her head gratefully as she buried her confusion. Why was the Pale Queen of all people in her baked goods shop? It was easy to forget the women likely had to eat too. Though with the way she stayed in her home, rarely if ever leaving, made it seem like she could subsist purely off cobwebs and dust at times. Red had heard rumors of the kind of magic the Queen possessed, though if it was true was another matter entirely. Just the idea this old women had so much power...and that it could be hers brought a new excitement to Red's mind.

"Is there anything I can get you? I most of what I'm selling here right on display, but if you want something special I can bake it up fresh at no extra charge."

"C-closed? But I swore you were..."

B.B's words died in her throat as she looked up and founder herself under the disapproving gaze of the Chupacabra. An intense pair of brown eyes cut into her and it wasn't long before the 'Wolf' began to squirm where she stood, fidgeting nervously outside the window of the taco truck. As soon as Chupa slipped out of sight and broke eye contact B.B felt some semblance of relief wash over her. Sniffing the air she was hit with the overpowering smell of alcohol. Though it was just a single can of beer, to B.B's sensitive nose it was like keg had been broken open on the sidewalk.

Chupa's words and the alcoholic fumes made B.B's stomach churn and she was soon digging through her pockets. Rooting through her pants, shirt, and even places that seemed unlikely to hold anything the young women produced a handful of lint and a dime so rusted it looked like a measly penny.

"Money money money. Um, um, um..."

An air of panic entered B.B's voice as she realized she'd asked for food without any money to pay for it. Already she felt like turning tail and booking it to avoid the embarrassment of the whole situation. Before she could take so much as a step however the impressively buff truck-squatted was beside her. Having him drop down and get close to her caused B.B's hairs to stand on end, briefly expecting something bad.

Yet the silent gesturing the man did seemed strangely calming and he seemed to imply that Chupa didn't mean anything. Relaxing her bright blue eyes widened as she saw the handful of shiny coins held out to her. Looking to Mothman and then back to the change she quickly took it, plopping it down on the folding counter outside the window of the Taco truck.

"Thank you." She mouthed wordlessly and quickly counted the change she'd been given.

"I-I'd like four chicken tacos please." B.B asked as politely as she could, holding her breath as she waited.

Even when Chupa was in a bad mood, she was still one of the nicer people B.B got to interact with. The most she'd do is get short and irradiated with her. Being called a 'puppy' beat out being called in the laundry list of things the rest of the neighborhood enjoyed calling her...

@OddsbodGood to have you on for the show Odds! The loot list is gonna look insane when we kick things off so you better prepare yourself.

@ShikaruI might actually strike you up on that offer later on. I just finished adding a big edition to the roleplay so I'll kick off adding Gears stuff into the game after I get some sleep.
@RiflebirdOh my god you added a cute little chef's hat! That is totally going on the map. Good description! I'll have it updated in a little bit. Just woke up so I need to eat and get some stuff done before I attend to posts.
@Shikaru It makes me really happy to hear that's the case Shik! I didn't think about adding Borderlands as one of the 'starter' games till a friend of mine suggested it. Then I spent half a day making a special table solely to let me generate Borderlands weapons and adding everything to the loot list. Happy to hear my decision and hard work to add it paid off with a player.

I'll fully admit I had some bias towards Gears of War when I was younger. However it has some distinct weapons (underslung chainsaws attached to guns for petes sake) and the Locust would be an interesting threat to have to deal with.

Plus all I'd need to do is add a couple thousand chest-high walls to the roleplay and I'd have the game integrated down for pat :P

@RiflebirdNope! They're approved :D You can post now.
@KaiserElectricYeah! Good to hear! :D
@lavulman Good to have you onboard!

And in an instant it was all gone.

The fabric of reality buckled like a book case collapsing in on itself. Dimensions, entire planes of existence never meant to intertwine were crushed on top of one another until they began to crumble. Planets were pulled apart as the very laws that held them together, that allowed them to exist at all, ceased to function.

When "The Event" stopped all that remained were broken remnants. Pieces of the underwater city of Rapture, fragments of the alien invaded Reach, the Arklay Mountains near Raccoon city, and the bits and pieces of countless other worlds all drifting through the ethereal void of nonexistence. They were like islands with the people, places, and things on them perfectly preserved.

Unable to move, unable to think, unable to perceive what had happened or what would become of them.

All of existence could have ended there, but something began to happen.

Bit by bit the fragments began to bunch together. Entire chunks of once whole planets packed together with lands, locales, and buildings of various worlds piling on. Mass and particles were drawn together, forming a star and eventually a moon.

Light shined, gravity pulled, and time began to move forward as a new set of rules was formed from the remaining shreds of other realities.

As the sun rose over the new, patchwork world for the first time the people, creatures, and entities that had been carried along with the fragments awoke to found themselves displaced.

Citizens, soldiers, survivors, test subject, knights, were presented with a twisted world filled with wonder they had never dreamed off...and horrors they never could have imagined.

Undying monstrosities of pestilence, vicious cold hearted mercenaries, alien zealots, blood thirsty robots, and deformed genetic drug abusers were just a fraction of what they found themselves contending against.

So people ran, wandering and desperately trying to survive. In the new world there was no law, no established rule, no one to keep them safe but themselves. Yet they continued to move, over rolling hills, across vast stretches of water, and through landscapes they dared not put to word. They searched hoping to find a safe place, a sanctuary.

What they found was a place called 2Fort.

Mistaking it for some kind of town people began to settle down and tried to make it into somewhere they could live.

This is where our story begins.

You get all that?

Long story short, this is a role play that revolves around the mass crossover of various video games into a single world. It focuses on an original plot of survival, struggle, and adaption to the bizarre patchwork world they're all stuck living on.

The roleplay will put emphasis on randomized loot and building up the 'town' of 2Fort.

Starting off the 'town' will have very little to offer and will be vulnerable to attack from countless horrific enemies. The town of 2Fort will grow and prosper, or wither and die at the actions of you and your characters.

Player characters that can't simply find food, ammo, armor, weapons, and items whenever it's convenient for them. Instead a large loot table made up of things from the countless video games involved will be used to determine what you find.

Now you're probably asking what series are involved in the roleplay.

Here's a list of games I chose as a base to start from. However more games can be added at player request. If you wanted to play a character from Metroid, or Final Fantasy, or simply felt having elements of a game in the RP would add to things then that game could be added. The Items, enemies, and various elements/locals from that game would be incorporated into the lists/tables I have.

So if at first glance this roleplay doesn't interest you, keep in mind that you can suggest virtually any game series you enjoy.

However there are some rules regarding what games can and cannot be allowed into the roleplay:

#1: The video game can't be spun off of an existing piece of media. So nothing tied to anime, comic books, novels, or film. If I didn't have this rule it'd be total chaos even if it would give me an excuse to ruse RWBY Grimm Eclipse.

#2: The game needs to be reasonable for the setting of the role play as a whole. A game where characters can casually blow up planets would not work here for example.

#3: The game needs to be suggested for the right reasons. I don't want people trying to powerplay or metagame. If you want to stroke your ego and game the system to be the strongest, then don't bother joining this rolplay. This is meant to be about the adventure and the narrative we craft, the excitement of adventure and the struggles of making do with what we can scrounge up.

And that's pretty much it. Here is the list of games the roleplay starts off made up of:
-----------------

----------------

Note: I'm allowing Original Characters from established game universes to be apped alongside canon characters, but please don't abuse my leniency here.
