Kirby looked up at the apple, his eyes seemed to sparkle as he looked closely at the apple. Without even a guesture he opened his mouth and began to inhale. This inhalation however was powerful enough to swallow Ryu along with the apple.
"Hey hey hey!" Ryu in a panic in a worringly way as he tries to resist getting sucked in, "I said you can have the apple, not me and the apple!"
Kirby only opened his mouth wider. He sucked up Ryu in his mouth, then he closed it and swallowed. After wards Ryu appeared behind him. Kirby now had a red Bandana on his head. He looked over at Ryu on the ground and walked over to him with a concerned look on his face. "Eya?" Kirby said, he sounded adorable.
Ryu can be seen laid back against a wall, thankfully he wasn't pushed out 3 stories down the skyscraper. He looks up while rubbing his head and heard the little pink thing speak.
"Y-you can actually talk?" Ryu asks as he slowly gets back up to sitting position, "And why do you happen to look like me now? In fact, WHAT ARE YOU?"
Kirby looked at Ryu and just tilted his head, or rather body. "Poyo?" Kirby asked him, Kirby didn't actually know how to talk proper english, it was more like another language. At this point Kirby took a step back, his mouth puffed up. He looked like he was about to barf then he spat out what looked to be a small blue fairy. "Pah! Kirby why did you keep me in there for so long? You know you need an interpreter." The fairy said to Kirby who acted a little nervouse. "Anyways, sorry about all that, my name is Kindle, I am Kirby's interpreter. As for how Kirby did that, he has the ability to copy other abilities, he can now fight much like you do, though his moves are a bit different than yours." The fairy answered.
Ryu was now even more confused, dumbfounded actually. Who was this strange creature and what did he release from his mouth? But before he can ask some questions, the fairy Kindle explained who she was, who the thing was, Kirby, and how he is able to copy and mimic people to a degree. And this is only a preview of what opponents he may be facing in the vast multiverse.
"W-wait..." Ryu interrupts, "So your saying... that this, Kirby, can mimic my abilities to a point... has a fairy stuck in his stomach... and happens to be the first thing I encountered in this universe ever since I got here... let alone outside my universe in general."
He pauses for a bit until asking something else.
"I don't know what universe you came from, but you and your friend are far different then any opponent or friend I come to know."
"By the way... name's Ryu." he finishes as he puts his hand out for an awkward greeting shake.
Kirby looked up at Ryu and stuck out his hand or rather limb to shake hands. "Poyo!" Kirby said with glee as he shook hands with the man. "Kirby says 'it's nice to meet you too, I am Kirby.'" Kindle said translating for Kirby. "Oya!" Kirby also said as he stood on his tip tose waving his heads above his head.
"Likewise." was all Ryu answered.
Kindle looked at Kirby for a moment before turning back to Ryu. "Kirby also says 'I actually met you once before in another universe, you were a fighter there as well, and were alot of fun to fight against." Kindle translated.
Ryu was astonished at first. Another Ryu? In another universe? How very interesting. But then again, any Ryu, no matter how changed they are compared to one another, would always exist in some form in any universe imaginable.
"I see," the champion replies, "But alas it seems I'm not the Ryu you know. I come from another universe, from a planet called Earth, where I travel the world to challenge other fighters to see who is worthy enough for me to fight. Though I would really like to meet your... Ryu."
At this point Kirby saw what seemed to be a flare shoot up into the sky. His eyes sparkled a bit. "Poyo!" Kirby said as he walked towards the edge of the building. He stood on his tip toes again and wistled. A star came shooting towards him before stopping right infront of him. "Kirby wants to know if you want to come with him to the bright start." Kindle translated.
Ryu had also seen the flare shot and was even more astonished as Kirby calls in the warp star. Kirby has a personal flying transport system? Lucky him one would say. Hesitating for a minute, Ryu decided if he should come, ultimately agreeing.
"Sure." he confirms as he awkwardly gets on the warp star.
Kirby smiled as he got onto the front of the warp star. Kindle seemed to dissapear at this point, he seemed to have gone back into Kirbies mouth. They both flew off towards flare, once close enough they came to sudden stop. A group was already there and Kirby ran towards them after jumping off the warp star. He stood on his tip toes again while waving his arms. "Hi!" Kirby said and smiled.
