@Ojo chan 42 Blind sorcerer is definitely still open, only ones taken so far are Wandering Knight, and Innocent Devil. Silent Martyr, The Cursed, and the great Beast are reserved. But everthing else at this point is fair game.
@DarkwolfX37 You can be very flexible with how the character fits the card. Just be prepared to justify how it fits if there is any confusion
@Turbowraith Your character is good, feel free to put him in the character tab.
@Mr Rage your character is fin, and if you want play as both the girl and the golem. BTW I actually own the Castlvania game you are referring to and its a great game.
@The Harbinger of Ferocity Sure thing i'll give you guys an overview. Also regarding your character, go either way with him, i personally think a powerful animal/ creature would be an interesting thing to play as but all up to you.
There are five major kingdoms on the continent of Theros were this takes place, two human ones, a dwarf kingdom, an elf, and the conquers own.
The largest human kingdom is actually the oldest kingdom of Theros. It is known as the kingdom of the Sun, and most of it consists of the vast empty Sunswept plains. It is an agrarian society with only a handful of large towns, most of its citizens live in small villages and hamlets. It is one of the poorest nations as most of its most fertile fields have been burned by the conquerors hoards.
The second human nation is the smallest yet most diverse nation. It is known as the Coalition of the Shore folk. It lies to the south of Theros and stretches along most of the coast. It is a union of many small nations, who's kingdoms lie on small islands or along the beaches. It is a nation of merchants, thieves, and pirates. Many strange and exotic creatures and people make their home here. They have been affected the least from the conflict as the armies have yet to reach their borders yet.
The Dwarf Kingdom of Kral Deresh, is actually a massive city from a much larger kingdom. They live on, under, and within the mountain ranges to the west of Theros. They once were the most friendly and open traders of all the kingdoms, yet when the conflict reached their mountains they fled into their halls and barricaded the massive doors.
The Elves of Theros live in the untamed temperate and rain forest to the east. They live in harmony with nature and seek to disturb it the least with the creation of their homes and cities. The conqueror holds a special hate in his heart for their people believing that while they enjoy the the bounties of their land, his people starve in the harsh tundra of his homeland.
Khan Scazzven of the tundra is the cause of all the war and strife in Theros. He is human, yet through magic influence he has lived through four centuries. His land is the barren, broken spine tundra, were the outcasts and hated people of Theros find refuge. His hordes consist of northern barbarians, orc and goblin tribes, ogres, and mercenaries of all races. Through his skill with the sword and his mastery of the arcane, he killed all of the khans of broken spine, used their kingdoms and stolen wealth to subjugate the other races of the tundra, and unleashed his armies to conquer Theros.
Magic works in many different ways. We are using most of the d&d styles. Arcane spells can be used either through careful and methodical study of spell books and scrolls or by the mage exerting his or her free will on the forces of magic or a combination of both. Some use their affinity with nature to bend it to their will, or help intune themselves with its power. Divine spell casters beseech their gods for a sliver of their strength to smite their foes.
In the center of the kingdom is a massive swamp know as Krallesh's grave. It was once a fertile beautiful plane until the tyrant dragon Krallesh was slain there spoiling its beauties forever. In its center in the Black heart bog, were our fortune teller lives.
Feel free to make up your own kingdoms and species, and if you have any further question feel free to ask.
Alright let's get this started. Remember this was once a 1x1 for me so most of the world is fleshed out. Still got room for one or two more if anyone else is interested.
For centuries the Grave Keepers have defended the crypts from grave robbers, necromancer's, and things far worse. But not only do they defend the dead from the living, but also the living from the dead. It is a terrifying, dangerous, and thankless job. But someone has to do it.
Setting is the city of Ashtyn, a medieval city. The city has three massive cemeteries. One in the inner circle of the city, for the normal citizens. One outside the walls for criminals, the poor, and homeless, this is the largest of the three, and many here are buried in unadorned unmarked graves. The last is located underneath the city, in a large catacomb system, this is reserved for the rich and city heroes.
Expect ghosts both malevolent and benign.
Normal rules. If your going to be gone for long periods of time please let us know so we can work something out. Be kind to each other in the ooc, you can hate each other in the role-play, just be polite in chat. Try to give at least a paragraph length post, I understand that's not always possible, but please try to avoid one liners (unless your Ash Williams in which case, Groovy.).
Character Sheet follows, please post in the ooc until I approve it for the character tab.

Alright excited to finally get this started! We're good on numbers but if anyone else wants to join there's still a little time.
Idea being in a high fantasy setting a evil ruler asks an old fortune teller if anyone can stop his conquest. She pulls several tarot cards that depict several heroes who could defeat him. Your job is to make a your character based off these loose concepts I present or come up with your own. Fill the concept anyway you see fit just remember, no overpowered characters! As for the world, except standard d&d fair, with several original creatures and whatever you guys want to create.

Character Sheet works as below, please post in the ooc and wait for approval before putting it in the character tab.
Tarot Card:(Name of card)
Name:
Age:
Gender:
Appearance:(Either a short description or image is acceptable)
Backstory:(Can be as short or as long as you wish)
Abilities:(Remember your part of a team, no overpowered characters)
Theme song:(Feel free to not include this, I just find them fun sometimes)
Other:(Anything else you want to add)
Now for the tarot cards! If there is a dispute over who wants what, will work it out.
The Wandering Knight, Innocent Devil, The Great Beast, Returned Hero, The Penniless Lord/lady, The Gambler, Merchant of Death, King/Queen of vice/vitrue,The Bright Eyed Scholar, Star Seeker, The Cursed, The Marksman, The Silent Martyr, Terrible Glutton, Noble Soul, The Iron Shroud, Tree Friend, The Savage, The Blind Sorcerer
Everything I've got going right now is progressing at a snail's pace, so I'd like to get one or two more Rps going. Got a couple ideas and want to see which ones catch the most attention. Also most of these im looking to try something a little different than the standard role-playing formula.
This is probably my most ambitious idea, as it would require a lot of setup, and until characters start to meet, a lot of individual storylines. This would take place in modern north America, primarily the U.S., and stretch hopefully throughout the continent. Premise being the classic the government is aware of people with these abilities, and they are trying to abduct them against their will for study, and to keep the general public in the dark. Think Heroes. My idea being each player picks which power they would like. Decide age, gender, appearance, and personality; yet the character with each power will grow up in a predetermined area to different people. Then me and that person will work together on backstory and how they grew up and began realizing their abilities. Furthermore, I have a guy I'm asking to play the role of a government agent, who is attempting to capture the other players, to help, drive character together. Example powers could be pyrotechnics, invisibility, regenerative qualities you know the works.
Sort of. This idea is also a little out there. Idea is a high fantasy setting. A dark conqueror, who is on the cusp of world domination visits an old fortune teller, and asks if anyone can defeat his army. The fortune teller, sees several vague tarot cards of here own making that tell of unaware champions who could defeat him. The idea is I present a vague character concept and you fill it however you see fit, or come up,with your own. A few examples I have now are, The Wandering Knight, Innocent Devil, The Great Beast, Returned Hero etc.
This is also a 1x1 I'm trying but my partner has been missing for weeks so I'll try it in group. Concept being that in this massive city an organization of men guard the cemeteries and crypts from grave robbers, necromancers, and the inhabitants from the any newly risen and angry dead.
The most powerful and rich king in the world is dying from a mysterious, incurable disease. Legend tells of a mysterious artifact that can solve all problems of the body, and the kind has promised to grant the wish of whoever can save his life. Now what you must understand about the king is... he is a complete and total ass. He is rude, angry, and a dominating tyrant. Believe me if he were to die many would make a grand festival of it. However he is rich... This would be sort of a pvp experience, yet player cooperation is okay. Everyone has their own wish, and only one is being granted.
By the way, from some of the ideas I want to try it may seem like I am a very controlling person. I truly am not, I just want to try something new that I think will be fun for all of us. If you feel I'm being to tight on what you can make just tell me, I'm more than willing to compromise.
Hey random idea. How about some players play as one of the warlords warriors, or even a warlord themselves, while others as the invaded people? You know make it a bit of a pvp ordeal. If not I'm totally okay with that.
Also for a bit of humor, what if all of the warlords claim that their the one that killed the hero, but no one has any proof so it's all a big argument/gloat fest.
I don't believe in a dead tred so if you happen across any of my old abandoned projects PM me and we can see about starting it back up.
