Arcadia

Arcadia is the magic capital of Lemuria. Built atop a wealth of precious metals, crystals and all manner of magical ore dug from the earth, it has long since been a powerhouse in trading, and arcane might. A collection of large stone towers built among and infused with a a forest of massive elder trees. The residents live in these constructions as well as these hollowed out trunks. A massive city housing thousands, it has a aura of nobility and yet rustic charm. Living among nature the people here use magic to shape the world around them, to their needs. A perimeter of magic towers create a barrier around it, tightly controlling anything that leaves or exits at the gates to the cardinal directions. The city is lead by an elder council of high mages, who decide on all matters involving politics, and anything of great change in the city. Each elder rules over a smaller section of the city, dividing it into 8 smaller sections. The largest tree by a massive margin serves as the keep of the city. Here business of all sorts is ran, as well the Major College of magical Learning. This tree "Yggdrasil" is revered by most magic users, and is thought of as the symbol of the old times when magic ruled the land. It is also the symbol of which Arcadia places on it's flag. A red banner with gold trimmings, and a large gold tree with a light shining behind it.

The main exports of this city-state are lumber, mined goods, enchanted items, Braxia Flowers, and Golems.

Zerzura

The Modern capital of Lemuria. It sits far north in the continent, standing tall atop the highest mountain center of the valley. Comprised of a walled city with a level ground and reaching skyscrapers of metal and glass, it is a grey and black city of bustling activity. Within it's confines sits the the technological advancement far beyond that of any place for miles. Automated systems and machines help things run smoothly, and allow for the people to go about less granular life-styles. Cooler then most parts of the country, it's higher most points threaten to graze the clouds, while it's many airships do so on a regular basis. An invisible barrier is formed by the massive generator tower in the center of the city, which allows only sanctioned people to enter or exit, controlling who or what may come and go. The only major pathway up to the mountain-peak is from the south side of the city, though there are entryways around it's circumference. Flying a banner of a cool electric blue with a black Rook chess piece, Zerzura is a bastion of industry. Some of the greatest minds gather here to help push the world in a better direction through the use of technological advancement. It is lead by democratically elected council members, who all advise a head figure names the chancellor. This chancellor is elected from this council.

The main exports of this city-state are mined goods, tools, machinery, robotics, weapons, and vehicles/parts.
Oh yeah out of character that's kick ass especially since the Anselmo Military has dedicated sniper teams to basically assassinate Wild Ones or Monster packs that get a tad too close to town. So sure he's 7th... Out of 70,000. That's like... top 0.1%

Grease Rat :p
I sniped in a post! Sorry i'm not too vocal in the OOC iv'e got some other things on the go here.
Rig smiled to himself at the responses and chatter. Before he knew it the idle nature of the conversation was helping. He looked again to each face, covered or otherwise of the people around him. Some where a lot more threatening then others. The medic looked like a simple enough guy, but of course he wasn't. Medical training and a seer? Bud's got talent.

The strange cat lady was also a point of notice. He didn't like the big thing she was bringing with her. He also didn't like the fact that after this flying bucket landed, he'd be on one himself. He shuddered at the thought. Maybe she could give him some tips on the creatures later. "I've just got Lyme disease, pox, a cold, and uhm, the black death last time I checked. Nothing to stress over." He chided over to James. He was glad to be joking at a time like this. Like captain's saying, they are going into a completely undocumented scenario. He hoped they could talk like this most of the trip.

"Luckily for you captain, I fix engines in my sleep. So there's nothing to worry about." As the pilot lit up the comms, he looked out to the side of the vehicle. He may have been away from the outside, but he could still see those big things. He wasn't scared per say, but seeing them reminded him once again of his reality. This wasn't a pub they were sitting in, it was a delivery. Soon he'd be on the ground, expected to deal with things of at least that size. He sighed to himself, trying to let his smile drift too far away. At least those one's wont eat me.
@Deos Morran

Sounds good, I was hoping that you'd say something like that lol.

I'd probably just start spinning my wheels if we were talking in a helicopter with no set post order or topic for a few days.
Hello there. I suppose if your in this thread you generally know what i'm about to say.

I'm looking for people to play with who share some interests with me. If you don't find something you like then that's fine, I hope you do somewhere soon :)

So anyways, things I've been craving at the moment:

Fantasy with a sci-fi spin: Elves and swords and blowing grass by a small village crested by the mountainside, but alien tech lodged deep under the earths crust. Airships enabled by mystical forces and magic is just another school of science. Full of action and adventure with a large serving of mystery.

World-building!: I stated something specific above but really I just want to build a cool place to set a story. I want to create fun characters each with unique abilities and personalities to embark on a story that's 100% our own. I really like having someone who's easy to bounce ideas off of and we can help each-other think up things that we come to love.

Multiple characters: I think my favorite part of any creative endeavor is making new characters, so I like to play a handful for each RP. If you can match that that's lovely, but I suppose this is really more of a notice for future reference.

Welp, that's all that comes to mind at time of writing, but if you want to talk about playing a game at all, we can chat here or in the PM's. Talk to you soon~
