Dirka laughed madly. "I believe in learning on the job, but I'll give you two hints; one, what neutralizes fire? Two, focus on the most precious person in your life. If magicians know one sane thing, is that you NEVER forget your true family. Even if they forget you..." She started sipping her drink sadly, but the puppet simply got more into the fight. Almost as if it was angry. The fires got hotter, and more frequent. An echo was heard, and another magician entered the mind-scape. "Mad Mistress! He's regained his memories! he has yet to wake, but his mind and soul are repaired! Oh, happy days!" Dirka lept out of the chair like a leopard. "TEACH THE NEW MEAT, NOW!!" And she disappeared.
Dirka woke in her body, and saw Iva leaving the room. She quickly grabbed him, turned him and kissed his forehead. "Sorry, brother! Things are afoot! But don't be a bother, and don't worry about your toot! Another conductor conducts that song, for I can not tarry along! Bye, cerio, NESKAV! MY MATE LIVES!!!! BWAHAHAHAHH!" She yelled cheerily, before falling off the nearest balcony, only to go through a portal ti the Rift.
May Time have mercy on them all.
@Lmpkio Terzotz laughed manically, launching himself into the air. He said an incantation, in the language of magic, and he breathed his destructive breath, but instead of blunt energy, it was acid. It sprayed in a cone, headed towards the Rat, and all around it to keep it localized. "Survive that, you pest!"
Blackness. Ink? Shadow? Night? No, this was something he saw regularly when he dreamed. Fractured. Empty. Void. All he remembered was his name, his home, and his goddess. But, wait...The black fissures were being repaired! What caused this? His...wife? Wait...what memory was this? He knew no beautiful woman such as this! Yet, she seemed...familiar. She was goddess...his goddess. But...then...how? His mind warped and fractured, but then those fractures were sealed like a large quantum puzzle. Memories came flooding back. Knowledge glowed like a river of a past life. Power the likes he could only dream of returned. He was no common village priest! She must have done so to protect him. He was in his mind, locked in it till the blackness completely faded, and he remembered who he was.
He was not Deruga, the common magician of a small village. He was Deruga, the Arch-Magus of the Teeth of madness!
When he opened his eyes, Deruga was met with a godly and beautiful sight next to him.
"Welcome back to existence and time...my husband."
1. If you weren't seeing this coming, you are blind. 2. I've been planning to do this for a bit. 3. I don't care if it's sappy or stupid, or even cleche.
Terzotz noticed the lump. He snickered. "It appears, lord of plagues, that 'Jimbo' is closer than you think." he said, pointing at the lump. He thought it amusing that the god couldn't feel a rat crawling on him. But then again, Dirka was only half-way in our realm and halfway in another mentally, always oblivious to certain things. Maybe that's how it was for all gods? He had no clue...
Dirka snapped her fingers and the mentally projected men carried her throne over to a tent an sat her underneath it. She snapped her fingers again and a puppet with no face, with robes fell from above. It got up on it's own and stared at Dirka. She nodded at Lahzia, indicating what she wanted it to do. It cocked it's head. "Well? Attack her! It stumbled for a moment, then cast a bolt of fire at the human. It, of course, would do no real harm, but Lahzia didn't know that.
Well, all things do eventually, but at the current moment, the library is quite small, so it's probably not as hard to pop into. Other parts of it are, because the others are bound to have more of Iva's more personal experiments and tomes. That's why I've only had here pop into the main tower so far.
Dirka watched the creature take Hayim, and while she was hesitant to let it, she did none the less. Finally, Dirka noticed the human girl, used a small spell to quickly figure out all she said and grabbed something from a pouch she had. She smiled down at the girl while drinking from a gourd. She put the cap back, placed the gourd back in the pouch, and cleared her throat. She then picked the girl up in a hug and squealed. "You're so adorable! Your Iva's little prophet! The one to bring knowledge and his madness to the mortals! Tweska Shoven! Imirtolcax dergall! Iva asked me earliar this month to teach you, so that's what I'll do!" She dropped the girl then went into a questioning and thoughtful stance. "Oh, but so little time, so much you must know in order to go! The Kesal spell of learning? No, to deadly. The spell I've yet to nam-OH HELL NO! No, no, no, no...but wait, there is one way. Hold still, or sway, either way." She jabbed her finger at Lahzia's forehead, and light appeared. Lazhia would see black, but she would simply be transferring into the astral realm. Dirka was there already preparing an arena. She now mental imagined a throne carried by four strong tall men. She sat in that very throne in the astral realm and awaited Lahzia to finish her mental transfer. She thought up a drink, and a stone cup ornately decorated was filled with a green drink. "Let your lessons begin!"
In the real world they looked ridiculous however. Dirka was still poking Lahzia's forehead physically, but no one was home.
Terzotz was angry. This little rodent stole his gem. He found it, not it! The mortals say sharing is caring, but he was a dragon, he didn't give two wisps about sharing. And a Magic black dragon no less! It scurried here and there in the mortal world, and boy was it fast. But Terzotz was two miles away from burning down this whole forest with Veil Fire and acid, but then the rodent went into a portal and disappeared. "NOOOOOO! LADY DAMN YOU!" and he continued to curse and spit, and most of said curses were not available, due to how vulgar and lewd they were. He eventually stopped and caught the sent of the rodent. He flew over to a mountain peak, cautiously for he was far past the Teeth of madness, away from safety. He sniffed around and smelled death now. He knew where he was. Nerphagius' realm on earth. Well, he wasn't found of sickness, but it did help him catch meals since only the hardiest of illnesses could harm a being of magic, and he had become fully in tuned with the element, no longer just a vessel with his ladies domain inside. "Oh, God of Disease, I mean not to intrude, but I search for a rodent that stole from me. May I ask, is he one of yours? For if he is, he has my gem. And Terzotz, Black Dragon of Magic, does not like being stole from. PLease?" He wasn't sure if Dirka was on good terms with the doctor, but she spoke good of him. Maybe flatter would work?
As funny as that would be, no. The sins are supposed to be friends/allies, depending on how you see it, and don't want to piss each other off(including wrath). They to work together, or at least help when necessary for their own sake. Plus, I read your ability, and it isn't just that kind of effect. Also something like wrath the angrier he gets, the stronger he is or something. Just in case you don't like the spacial effect.
