Ok all.
So this sunday im off to london and dont get back in til 4am monday morning meaning I will be utterly useless until tuesday.

I will start of the basis of an update saturday morning however i would like to wait for @savo and @tenma tendo in case you hit me something wonderful out of left field :)

Ideally i would like to update saturday or tuesday with tuesday feeling the more reasonable for all involved!

I know you guys have alot on but do you feel monday night is a reasonable time for you guys to get a post in? Tenma I particularly understand you have way more important things to worry about. Hope the midterms go well :)

I think he is an importqnt starting character. Plus why is he so loyal to Dumbledore? That is a question we can start by answering

Do you know what there is absolutely no reason not to have dung in the original group. Infact it makes a lot of sense!

I think it was just me being a little stubborn as I really want to flesh out as many of the above 7 as possible as they are all tragic heroes of the order with little to no background. Thats really what this rp is about for me :)

I`ve been watching this thread since it was posted, such a great concept. I`d be more than willing to play one of the Prewett brothers, hopefully it`ll take off.

Ha I mean an npc may be able to arrange something hassle free for you :) I dont mind you guys doing that. Its not integral to the story.

I'll be poking you in a certain directiom after you've got your first pokemon but if in doubt always follow your nose :)

Hi! Thanks for your interest.

All characters will come available at somepoint during the rp with the probable exception of Dumbledore. I think his character needs to remain with the gm.

I would prefer to build a core with the 7 above and then expand but i would stress I'm l not averse to peoople having multiple characterw

If remaining with the 7 above proves a sticking point that prevents the rp from getting off the ground I will reevaluate.

I would add that as the above characters are not described in the books they are near enough original characters in all but a few details so you will have free reign

The year is 1970 and Lord Voldemort has just proclaimed himself Dark Lord. In speeches that have reached all corners of the wizarding population he has promised to topple the established order. Muggles will be subjugated, squibs segregated and pure wizards will reign supreme.

No more hiding, no more secrecy.. merely bend the knee to Lord Voldemort and live as kings.

The ministry is officially at war but hampered by a cancerous network of spies within its midst, fear and distrust are an oozing canker infecting the wizarding population and stalling any resistance.

"Imagine that Voldemort's powerful now. You don't know who his supporters are, you don't know who's working for him and who isn't; you know he can control people so that they do terrible things without being able to stop themselves. You're scared for yourself, and your family, and your friends. Every week, news comes of more deaths, more disappearances, more torturing...the Ministry of Magic's in disarray, they don't know what to do, they're trying to keep everything hidden from the Muggles, but meanwhile, Muggles are dying too. Yet from the darkness some fought back. After the latest and largest mass muggle killing(over 30 muggles killed with suspected giant involvement) the Order of the Phoenix was born.

They at least would fight back!

This rp will start with founding members of the Order of the Phoenix and detail their attempts to take the fight to Voldemort.

I’m looking for high casual writers

General RP courtesy, be good to your fellow rpers, respect my role as the gm and lets have a great bit of fun building a story for ourselves

What I'm offering you

A chance to fill in some of the gaps in Rowling’s story.

It took 5 death eaters to kill Gideon and Fabian Prewett. How did they fight like heroes?
What did the order actually do in that first wizarding war?
Why did Dorcas Meadowes deserve the attention of Voldemort himself?
How did James and Lily defy Voldemort three times?

We know lots but we have an 11 year gap to fill until the rp will end with the fall of Voldemort. Please note I will not be accepting original characters but I do feel with the very little we know about characters like the Prewetts, the McKinnons and the Bones we can create semi original characters.

The characters I am looking for to begin with will be (at least 4 of):

Marlene McKinnon
Benjy Fenwick
Edgar Bones
Caradoc Dearborn
Gideon Prewett
Fabian Prewett
Dorcas Meadowes

If the rp goes well and we build a solid foundation around the above characters I may look to expand into more established characters. Please note as Lily and James did not join the order til around 1978 I will not be recruiting for them (Lupin, Sirius, Wormtail and Frank/ Alice Longbottom) until later. My feelings are that as all of the above will most definitely kick the bucket at some point those who have helped to build the story will get first choices on further characters.

@deathbringer understood, but I don't plan to specifically create characters who are made out to be personal rivals. That wouldn't make sense at all, unless there's an actually good reason for the character to have a rival/be rival with someone. Due to traveling around a lot, I don't think Perri would have many rivals at all (zero for the most part).

I was thinking more along the lines of padding up the rp with some npcs just like you to give the world a little more life to it... namely some trainer npcs who attended the Lo Town ceremony that the characters can interact with in myriads of ways and possibly battle. Who knows, they all might get wrapped up in the same scenario.

Also, I got that it isn't natural for them to travel together... but Perri trying to wrangle up people to travel with won't be unnatural! Whether he succeeds or not is... up in the air.

Along with that, since Blake's starter is a Sinnoh pokemon, if Perri were to scan his dads Roserade, would it give out the information to him, or would scanning him cause an error to pop up?

That's exactly what I'm looking for! Create away- and I definitely have no issues if you all/ some of you want to travel together. I just wanted you to know, no pressure I am prepared even if you all go off in 4 different directions (it was part of the reason for keeping the rp a little smaller for a little more variety of tasks!)
