And why would that be?
Dracul: I care not for the struggles of others. Let them sort their own lives out. As for gain...you cannot give me what I seek. No one can. Not anymore.

And why would that be?

The lass that believed herself quite powerful? Yea, that would be her.
And to put it short, I'm in the business of helping others with their problems if they're willing to help me in return. You and I could gain something from interacting with each other.

To see a new quaintance faint and then wake up and speak of her experiences here, it brought me curiosity. But to also hear of your plight peaked my interests moreso.
<Snipped quote by ZAVAZggg>
I would explain in full, but that would take a while. Let's just say I asked for a favor and got a small sample that I've used to try and form this connection.

*She speaks, her voice almost ghostly, its clarity fading and sharpening as her form shifts between clear and distorted.*
Is there anyone there?
@ZAVAZggg
Thankfully, Lantean ships rarely use ZPMs anyways so you don't need to explain how one isn't present.
The most important thing for any scenario is character interaction and story hooks. The Lantean or Lanteans, if plural, would likely be aloof, condescending and general assholes. That's not to say it's a bad thing. A character arc involving becoming humbled can be quite fascinating.
My suggestion of a Traveler, SGC, or some other race makes for more co-operation. Let me sell you on the Travelers with some spinning. I like the Travelers in particular because they are already a space faring group that could feature people from a dozen different worlds, possible aliens and whatever else you want from across the Andromeda galaxy. If you want, you can even throw in one of Michael's hybrids or one of Todd's wraiths that no longer need to feed, or better yet, feed only when they absolutely need to (or to save a friend's life). Maybe this one has an alternate universe Shepard on board who desperately wants to get home to his Atlantis. Maybe there's a rogue Vanir that helps them with engineering aboard complete with power suit!
Maybe there's a couple Jumpers, a few darts and maybe even a couple of old salvaged junkers belonging to long dead civilizations in the three docking bays.

It's the benefit of Lantaen interface tech. You can have one person piloting the ship but then repair is hard. Also if you want reasons. You can always have a deserter from the Lantaen/Wraith war or someone being all heroic.
Edit: tired, on phone and gaming. Which is why I'm kinda skipping words and putting sentences together in a weird order.
