Current That isekai idea works until you take into account the advanced part and include things like AI, brain machine interfaces, etc. Knowledge can just be downloaded.

Unless you love kids a little too much, then a prison sentence is what can be done about it.

And why would that be?

Dracul: I care not for the struggles of others. Let them sort their own lives out. As for gain...you cannot give me what I seek. No one can. Not anymore.
<Snipped quote by ZAVAZggg>

The lass that believed herself quite powerful? Yea, that would be her.
And to put it short, I'm in the business of helping others with their problems if they're willing to help me in return. You and I could gain something from interacting with each other.

Dracul: *Scoffs* I highly doubt that.
<Snipped quote by ZAVAZggg>

To see a new quaintance faint and then wake up and speak of her experiences here, it brought me curiosity. But to also hear of your plight peaked my interests moreso.

Dracul: You must be referring to the child that was here earlier.
*He pauses briefly*
Now, why should my plight interest you?
<Snipped quote by ZAVAZggg>

I would explain in full, but that would take a while. Let's just say I asked for a favor and got a small sample that I've used to try and form this connection.

Dracul: Bah, you mortals and your science. Always looking into things you barely understand. But, I suppose it doesn't matter. Tell me, why did you try and form a connection with me?
@Sep
Quick question. Exactly what should go under Unique Technology? All the tech used onboard a ship, including weapons, as none are native to the verse in question and thus "unique"? Or just the most powerful/rare tech that the race puts on their space craft?

*She speaks, her voice almost ghostly, its clarity fading and sharpening as her form shifts between clear and distorted.*
Is there anyone there?

Dracul: Hmm...another newcomer. Tell me, how did you get here?

@ZAVAZggg

Dracul: *He runs about the city under the cover of darkness and moonlight, feeding from one person here or a demon there as he goes. Eventually he stops in the middle of a ruined intersection lined with the burnt out metal husks of automobiles and stares down a dark alleyway off to his left. After a few seconds a white wolf emerges from the shadows and points its snout up into the air before letting out a hauntingly low howl. Turning round, the wolf heads back into the shadows as Dracula begins to follow, both soon disappearing into the blackness. After crossing through the blood vortex once more, the pair eventually arrive back in the castle throne room, where the white wolf takes its leave. Striding up to his throne, the old vampire takes a seat as the faint silhouette of a woman appears...*
Thankfully, Lantean ships rarely use ZPMs anyways so you don't need to explain how one isn't present.

The most important thing for any scenario is character interaction and story hooks. The Lantean or Lanteans, if plural, would likely be aloof, condescending and general assholes. That's not to say it's a bad thing. A character arc involving becoming humbled can be quite fascinating.

My suggestion of a Traveler, SGC, or some other race makes for more co-operation. Let me sell you on the Travelers with some spinning. I like the Travelers in particular because they are already a space faring group that could feature people from a dozen different worlds, possible aliens and whatever else you want from across the Andromeda galaxy. If you want, you can even throw in one of Michael's hybrids or one of Todd's wraiths that no longer need to feed, or better yet, feed only when they absolutely need to (or to save a friend's life). Maybe this one has an alternate universe Shepard on board who desperately wants to get home to his Atlantis. Maybe there's a rogue Vanir that helps them with engineering aboard complete with power suit!

Maybe there's a couple Jumpers, a few darts and maybe even a couple of old salvaged junkers belonging to long dead civilizations in the three docking bays.

A solid suggestion, but I have already decided to go with a Lantean character as captain of the craft. Not sure if I want others aboard the ship, I might considering how difficult it would be for just one person to fix and maintain the whole ship by him/herself, but that would mean even more characters to develop and create. Something I really don't need too much more of at the moment given the other roleplays I'm in or running both in PM's and elsewhere. It may sound strange, but I'm better at developing singular characters rather than many. I do thank you for the advice though, as it does provide very interesting avenues for development and conflict, but I think only having one character aboard the ship would be easier for me to handle.

And given this characters backstory, once I get round to it, he may be proud but he/she will have an event in his/her past, before coming to the star wars universe, that will provide a crack in his/her well constructed and haughty armor.
~ALASTOR~

Light, blinding and scathing, assaulted Alastors now extremely sensitive eyes as the cold air buffeted his naked body to and fro. Quickly plummeting towards the hard ground below, the Laizu did his best to reposition himself in the hopes of making his impact with whatever lay below a lot less painful. Although this was a completely new experience for him, it didn't take much to figure out that this body the others had stuck him in was highly sensitive to stimuli of all kinds, including pain. And while he had felt a form of psychic pain back in Chaazim during fights with other lords, it was very different from the kind of pain he would undoubtedly experience in a few minutes. The psychic pain was more like the pins and needles one feels when the circulation is cut off in a limb. Whereas human pain was much more pronounced. At least, that's what he assumed.

Either way, he'd find out soon enough, as the lush green outline of what looked to be some kind of park rapidly faded into view.

It's the benefit of Lantaen interface tech. You can have one person piloting the ship but then repair is hard. Also if you want reasons. You can always have a deserter from the Lantaen/Wraith war or someone being all heroic.

Edit: tired, on phone and gaming. Which is why I'm kinda skipping words and putting sentences together in a weird order.

Eh, don't worry about it. I do the same late<---{Like here} most of the time. Also, a deserter might work as well. I could also make it fit with the mutiny thing as well. Maybe he burns all the ZPM modules out by travelling for years to avoid the war, or he sells them to traders for parts and repairs. Something like that. If he has any left, it or they could be burnt out by the time he arrives in the Star Wars verse.
