<< "When you're about to be silenced, go out with a bang." >> -Gabby

| Personality | First and foremost, Gabby has autism, or more specifically, asperger's syndrome. While it isn't something that really defines her, or something she lets define her, it's something that really has shaped her life, choices and lifestyles as well. As a result of constant alienation, ostracision and bullying in her life, she's rejected the idea of being amongst groups, and has become more paranoid regarding other people, and has become far more insecure than she normally has been. However, this doesn't mean that she shuts out people completely, with animals and people that she trusts and holds close to her heart, she is incredibly grateful for and often shows her love, affection and appreciation for. While she does somewhat understand the concept of empathy, she doesn't exactly know when to shut up, and often times she often thinks other people think like her. As a result, whenever she is with someone she likes or trusts, she often lets them into her life and tries to get them into the things she does as well. In regards to Kirk, however, her dog, she has a strong connection to her puppy. She doesn't see Kirk as a pet, but more of family member, or a little brother of some weird sort. She also enjoys the idea that she's in a story or a movie, and often times she might call out things that happen, or might see things that happen in this very RP coming from a mile away. She's also terrible when it comes to sarcasm, and is terrible at reading microexpressions or tone, however, she knows how to make a few jokes here and there.
| Abilities | Gabby is a rather unique case here, in which she possesses two powers, one of them being perfect sound imitation and the other being an "animal whisperer" of sorts. With her ability to replicate sound perfectly, she could replicate just about any sound she would like, including animal calls, as well as the voices of other people she hears. With this, it enhances her ability to bond with other animals, as well as speak to them on some level. One of the secondary powers that come with this is the ability to hear frequencies that human ears can't hear, and make noises that others cannot pick up. With her connection with animals, her ability to use sound beyond the range of human ears, as well as various body languages, she's able to read animals better than most experts can, and it comes natural to her. She also has a strong bond with her little puppy Kirk as well, to the point where she could actually speak perfect English to Kirk and Kirk would understand her (on the level of basic concepts anyway). She also uses this to "tame" animals (essentially render them non-hostile to herself and other animals in her "pack").
| Limitations | Gabby can only make one sound at a time, and she can only make it as loud as any human could with their own voice. She cannot make a combination of sounds, as her brain is incapable of multitasking. Her ears are also more sensitive as a result of her better hearing (not to mention her autism), and thus it could easily be used against her. Her connections with animals doesn't really have much of a limitation, but she cannot summon animals from miles away. She can only summon animals that hear her cries.
| Place Of Origin | Toledo, Ohio
| Family | Johnny Dickerson - Father, master of Mimicry abilities Zula - Mother, animal whisperer
| History | TBA
| Extra | Gabby is in possession of a cute little pupper named Kirk, who's an incredibly smart dog that detects evil and bullshit when Gabby can't. Gabby has formed such a bond with Kirk that both of them are nearly inseperable, and Kirk almost acts as Gabby's second pair of eyes, ears and a nose, one often helps her find things she loses, or in some other cases, helps her find hidden treasure. But yeah, Kirk is totes adorbz
Also, as a sidenote, I based Gabby incredibly off of myself, an Aspie, in a way, as well as friends I had who also had Asperger's syndrome. Not to mention that the nostalgia behind the primary theme, I knew that song for 18 years. 17 years for Ex Factor.

Please let me know what you guys think of her! :D I would be more than happy to fix anything you guys spot, or add any cool ideas/suggestions to her. She'll most likely appear after the timelapse as well, and she's open to having pre-established friends (as she's a pre-established character, my excuse for not having her around until now is that she's just too shy to go to parties and above the petty bullshit). XD
@lovely complex [@whoever's the new co-GM of this thing IDK I'm sorry please don't sue me]
ETA for timeskip: Soon. My apologies. I have been working on it. Most of it was made by Legion and Aewin, but I'm making little revisions here and there. RL work - making dolla' money - is just a killer.
The first thing Davy did when he opened his eyes, naturally (he was a teenager after all), was check his phone. He stared at the text he’d been sent by Jareth. He blinked a few times before his expression soured. Oh, sure, that was so helpful Jareth. Prick. David went to reply to the text message with another picture, but suddenly realized he wasn’t able to do so: Ely was still asleep on him.
Stuck between a rock and a hard place (in this case, the hard place was Elysia), David had no choice. He reached out with his fingertips and pulled the television remote closer to him. He flicked on the TV and turned it down to the point that it was almost inaudible, and flicked through the channels, landing eventually on Boomerang.
Nice, a Courage the Cowardly Dog Show, starring Courage the Cowardly Dog marathon. This would do until Ely woke up...
A dreamless night and not once did Ely wake or stir in her sleep. There was a faint sound of a cartoon show in the background as her mind peacefully rested. Nestling her head closer to this soft body pillow, the young blonde allowed herself to gradually wake from her sweet, if only it could last forever, slumber. Her head did beat like a boombox due to the amount of alcohol she drank in the course of three consecutive days (and she unbeknownst did not get the memo from any of her friends about Jackson on her phone) , but she’s felt worse. She was just happy that she actually felt rested for once, even with a hangover. Her left hand clutched onto a shirt tightly. When she opened her her eyes, revealing her gorgeous green, she had just remembered who she fell asleep on. Glancing up at David Powers, head skater of Beverly Hills High, Ely silently watched him stare at whatever was on the TV screen. He was warm and comfy… “Mm. Morning, Airhead.”
Finally. After several hours of laying there, after missing the most important meal of the day (half of it anyway), the girl was awake. Davy hadn’t wanted to move, worrying that if he shifted too hard, he might rouse her from her slumber--which seemed to be comfortable. “Finally, you’re up. Let’s go, it’s almost time for second breakfast and you already made me miss first breakfast.” David paused for a minute, looking down at her as he thought about how to word his next question. “...uh, did you sleep, y’know, good? Was I, uh, uhm… comfy?”
“You’re better than a wooden bench, that’s for sure.” Ely admitted, before turning her head to stare at the TV (obviously not budging for food nor having the will to get up this very moment). “Why do you need two breakfasts? That sounds a bit... much.” Her green orbs watched the screen as Courage tried to tell Miriam there was a monster around. Ely may have had a good night’s sleep but she was also far too lazy to do much this early in the morning. Absentmindedly tracing her finger in circles on his shirt-covered chest, the tired blonde yawned, “It’s far too early to move.”
“Ely I’m starvinggg. I’ve been up for years. You’ve just been sleeping on me. And stop touching me, it’s weird,” Davy commented, stealing a glance down at Ely’s fingers as they moved around on his stomach. He looked up at the TV, then back down at the girl in his arms as he groaned. “I don’t wanna miss breakfast. You’re already taking my clothes. Don’t take my food tooooo. Speaking of which… since you’re, uh, sleeping on top of me and w-wearing my f-f-favorite shirt … does that make us, y’know, like a couple ?”
God. This kid was so goddamn whiney. Her eye blinked dully at him. Why was he weirded out with her simply touching him? Oh yeah. His parents did say she was his ‘first’. Ely still couldn’t believe it but then again… he was a big ol’ baby. Pulling away from him in slight annoyance, not really wanting to creep him out more than she already did, the blonde shrugged, “It’s whatever. Let’s go eat.” After standing up, she offered her hand to help him up, “I doubt you want to date me anyways.”
“Why wouldn’t I? You’re, y’know… you’re cool. And my mom likes you so that’s a bonus. A big bonus. Like… a Christmas sized bonus.” David explained as he hopped to his feet, not taking the extended hand. “...plus we like… slept together? Isn’t that how it works…?” More confused than ever, Davy shook his head and led her down the hallway to the stairway. “I hope you’re hungry. There’s gonna be bacon, sausage, fried potatoes, scrambled eggs, chocolate chip pancakes, caramel chip waffles, orange juice, apple juice, and milk. I think that’s it.”
Crossing her arms, becoming her distant and usual self, no longer the drunk girl the night before, Ely followed behind and muttered, “Not during this day and age.” When they got to the stairs, she listened to him list the variety of food that they would eat. Her smile had faded and her mask was up, “Sounds good.” She decided to not wait for any response and led the way upstairs, staying in complete silence until they reached the dining room table.
Davy liked her better when she was drunk. She talked more and was less… negative Nancy. Which was fun. This wasn’t fun. As they walked toward the dining room, Davy quietly plotted ways to shoo her off back to Jar, so he could get back to playing video games and skateboarding and… ducksitting. He took a seat down at the table, looking at his parents who looked at Davy, then at Ely, still moderately shocked that Davy had gotten a girl so close to him.
“...so how did you guys sleep?” Ilyana asked, and Davy looked up at her, his mouth already full of bacon.
“We were up all night long.”
“That’s my boy.” His father added with a bit of a smirk.
When Davy’s parents asked about how they slept, that striked a thought in Ely’s mind. Once she was in her newly claimed seat, she grabbed a glass of milk that was beside her plate. Before bringing it to her lips, she smiled, “That reminds me. I still need to kick your kid’s ass in video games.” Taking a moment to sip the milk, her gaze trailed to Davy, who once again was stuffing his face like he did the night before. Placing the cup down, she teased (after letting a chuckle slip out), “What was it that he said? ‘You’re poking a sleepin’ lion, Girl.’” Her voice mimicked his tone from last night and how passionate he became. Ely didn’t want to give his hella’ observant parents a reason to worry about her, so she’d play this happy charade for a little longer. Her words had revealed that even when drunk, she could recall things better than most inhibited individuals.
“We’ll have to do that another day, since I”m sure you have plenty of other stuff to do today. Including, but not limited to, go home.” Davy explained with a mouthful of potatoes, not looking away from the food that was on his place. “Or like visit one of your other friends, of whom I’m sure you have a bunch of.” Davy slurped down some milk and looked at his parents. “She can eat breakfast then be off, I think?”
Ilyana clicked her tongue, looking over at her son. “Why do you want her to leave so badly?”
Ely’s eyes glazed over as she listened to his words. Okay. She got the memo. You can shut up now. Her gaze rested on her empty plate she had yet to put food on. Her breathing picked up and her hands went into fists, balling them up into a clench. His parents didn’t deserve to see this side of her. Why did she even take a liking to this kid? Everything about him was so annoying and he had it incredibly easy. ‘Go home’. That’s easier said than done. Her expression was completely detached from the current moment. Pushing her seat back, she uttered, “I get it.” Once she stood up, trying to keep her breathing steady, she slowly dismissed herself, “Thanks for having me.” Before leaving the room.
It wasn’t Davy that was annoyed and stood up to stop Ely as she disappeared; it was his mother. Ilyana again clicked her tongue and stood up from her seat, following after Ely after sending her son an annoyed--but not overly angry look. Once close enough, she lightly put her hand back on Ely’s shoulder. “Ely, Davy is his own man and I can’t speak for him--but I’d like you to stay as my guest. I don’t have a fancy batcave, but I do have Oreo cookies we can eat. The least you can do is finish eating breakfast with us--we’ll look like bad hosts if you don’t! If you’re feeling like it afterward, we can hang out. Davy has to take Sprinkles to the lake anyway.”
“You gotta’ be shitting me.” Ely said under her breath. Davy would go to the one place she’d love to run off to. The urge for her to make her knuckles bleed was strong but… why did his mom care so much? She hardly knew anything about her and yet she still wanted her to stay? How the hell do you react to that? In normal circumstances, Ely would have already exploded. What was holding her back? Grumbling to herself, she turned to face the older figure and took an instant to gather her thoughts, “Davy has better judgement of character, I’m really not that great.” Her emotions conflicted with one another. If she stayed, she had free food but had to deal with the idiot and these sickeningly nice parents, if she left she could grab a snack at the store, skate around, and smoke. One sounded more pleasing than the other but she still hesitated until she finally bursted out, “Why the lake!? The one place I go to for me time.” She was obviously bothered with the knowledge that Davy takes his duck out to her special place.
“Well, dear, because he has a pet duck and they don’t really have duck parks. Sorry. Now, come finish breakfast. You don’t want to go out without an empty stomach anyway. Breakfast is important, if David hurt your feelings, I’ll send him to his room.” Ilyana smiled down at the girl and put a hand on her shoulder, giving it a light squeeze. “It’s okay to be angry, and it’s okay to be confused. But you need to relax sometimes, and now is the perfect time to do that. I’m sorry he was rude, he just isn’t used to… well, people. It’s not his fault, he’s had a rough time. Just take a deep breath, sit back down… and enjoy food and then we’ll see what we can figure out to do. Maybe we’ll do.. makeovers, or something.”
“I- Uh.” Makeovers? What? That was far too girly for Ely to handle. Poppy covering her bruise was one thing but doing ‘makeovers’ as a form of quality time. That sounded horrible. Huffing out her steam, Ely growled, “Fine. But don’t get upset if I punch him in the face.” Walking back toward the kitchen, she looked at Mrs. Powers, observing her presence, “I don’t eat breakfast. Ever. But for you, I can.” Pulling out her seat obnoxiously loud, the frustrated and defeated blonde plopped her ass right back on the seat and started piling her plate with food, not once looking at Davy.
It wasn’t like Davy looked up at Ely as she walked back to the table, he was too engrossed in the pile of food sitting in front of him. Ilyana however, smiled at Ely as she took her own seat, slicing into a pancake and taking a bite. Ultimately, Davy’s father was the one who finally spoke. “...so, uh, really though. How’d you guys sleep? Ely, I”m asking, mostly. Since she was smashed last night.” Malcolm had no shame.
Finishing chewing her piece of sausage, Ely cleared her throat, “Peachy. Your son let me sleep in.” she carved into her own pancakes and stabbed the piece rather forcibly, “Don’t worry. He’s still a virgin.”
“Probably always will be. But hey, there are bigger disappointments in life.”
“DAD.”
Malcolm shrugged his shoulder, looking over at Ely. “What? I mean, she was drunk, but she wasn’t that drunk, and I don’t think you’d even know what to do really.”
“Malcolm, be nice. They’re just teenagers…”
“Practice makes permanent.” Ely chuckled before putting more pancake pieces in her mouth.
“After breakfast, David and Malcolm, you need to busy yourselves elsewhere.” Ilyana explained as she bit down on a waffle, slathered in butter. Davy looked at her like she’d just hit him with a shovel.
“...but why? I wanted to watch cartoons and play video games…” He complained in a whiny tone as he bit down on bacon.
“Because it’s my house and I said so.” Ilyana replied smoothly, smiling warmly. Davy opened his mouth to speak again, but his father put a hand on his shoulder before their son could get a word out.
“Happy wife, happy life, son. Just let this one go.”
“FIne…”
The sudden turn of events actually made Ely happy. Davy getting forced out while she got to spend time with his mom? Huh. She couldn’t help but grin to herself while she continued to eat in silence. Maybe she could get use to this.
As for me fam, I've hardly been home. This weekend I've been busy bee but do expect the timeskip post in the next couple of days. Ideally, sooner rather than later.
“ELIANAAAAAAA!” the small Italian boy looking fly as fuck poked his head to an open aisle between two large bookcases at the sight of Mrs. Lovelace’s daughter placing a book on a shelf. He was holding his camera and aiming it at her, but it wasn’t on record (or was it? secret). Truly, the Pup was just checking the lighting in the library - it sucked. There were immediate ‘shushes’ aimed at his direction, which made him give people a stank face.
Ignoring their ‘request’ for him to keep it down, he pridefully strided toward his friend he made a week ago at Delirium. Turning off his camera, having gotten b-roll of campus today, he gave the introvert a wide grin.
“You’re chipper this morning.” Eliana crossed her arms and locked her gaze with the seventeen year old.
“I’ve spent this entire week gettin’ people to sign releases for me. I even got LEONNNNNNN - sorry I like saying his name like that - to take a stack and get signatures for me.” Virgil pulled out a paper that was rolled up in his back pant’s pocket. Shortly after, she grabbed the paper from him and read it fairly quickly. Her blank expression turned into a grimace.
“What? Is there a typo?” Virgil perked one of his eyebrows. Shit, I should have reread it...
“I don’t want to be filmed.” she retorted while handing the paper back.
The boy was not going to take no for an answer. Especially from the daughter of a teacher. “You see, Ellie, baby.”
“Don’t call me baby.”
“Walk and talk with me.” The shadowmancer gently grabbed the woman’s arm, causing her to tense a little, and directed her down the aisle, “Think of the story. You like stories, yeah? I see this winning awards if I do it right. I know, I know. The school rift keeps gettin’ wider but imagine if I find the good times? Y'know, that show the beauty of us uniting forces. The documentary of the century! United We Stand. I can’t possibly do that without you. You are one of the faces here! Along with Mitch. Mitch is a cool dude.”
Eliana groaned at all his yapping. Fantastical ideas for a driven boy. Perhaps if she did agree, he’ll learn that most students were ugly inside and out, everyone was out for themselves, and ‘beauty’ was dead. With a swift scan, she searched the main sitting area for something. Anything, really. From a distance, she caught sight of a naturally attractive brunette with the vast sea in her eyes. If she wasn’t mistaken, the girl’s name was Amy Stevenson and she was at the tournament meeting. Perks of having the teacher in charge of the tournament as a mother. There was some faces she could recognize even if she hadn’t officially met the person.
A sly smirk slipped on her fair face. If Virgil was kept occupied by another woman, that meant less time for him to think about his ‘friend’ Ellie. “Do you like challenges?”
“PFFT. I was made for challenges! I ain’t chicken shit. No Hart is.” Virgil defended his courage and honor, even clenching his free hand into a fist and clapping it twice with his chest.
“Good. See that girl over there.” Eliana motioned toward Amy, which made Virgil nod in reply, now fully intrigued. “Get her to sign one of these lovely releases and ask her on a date, then you got yourself a deal.”
“I got this.” and with that, Virgil led the way toward the girl he knew nothing about, Eliana following not too far behind. “Heyyyyyyyyyyyy. Do you have time for me to - uh, talk to you?”
Amy would’ve been lying if she said she didn’t notice the guy before, although why he wanted to talk to her was a mystery. At his request, her eyes darted back to her book, then to him, briefly noticing a girl who she assumed was the ‘Eliana’ he’d been calling to earlier. While Amy was enjoying her novel, she was definitely curious to hear what he wanted. After thinking it over, she figured it couldn’t hurt, replying with a slight smile. ”I’m not busy, so I guess I could spare a couple minutes.” Amy paused, curious. ”Um...Why?”
First matter of business. The release. Mentally preparing himself, while taking a subtle deep breath in, Virgil gave the girl a pearly white teeth smile before rattling off with his light Italian accent, “The name’s Virgil. Virgil Hart. I’m a new transfer, sorta-kinda. I have relations in the big apple, so I was like- why not? I’ll test in and totally skip a year because, like I ain't tootin' my own horn... okay I'm tootin' my own horn... I got the brains.” Was that even relevant? God, he hated asking girls out on dates and he knew it would come sooner rather than later. “ANYWAYS.”
Placing the release on her lap, he added, “The real big reason I made this move was because I’m making a film. A documentary of the schools joining. The logistics are still a work in progress, but after my cousin died I wanted to make something in his name and… I was wondering if I could film your face.” That came out weird. “I mean I want to film everyone’s faces… I just don’t want to get sued. You do have a pretty face though and I’m going to shut up now because I’m just making a fool out of myself.” His cheeks leaked red as he waited for a response in agony. Meanwhile, Eliana simply observed in pure amusement (but of course, she would hide that). She liked this Virgil. It appeared that he did not know how to handle situations with girls very well. She would approach them after he did what he needed to do, not wanting to interrupt him. That’s just rude.
Well, at least he seemed nice enough if a little bit jumpy. It took a second for Amy to actually take in everything he’d said, but she figured it wouldn’t hurt to give the whole thing a chance. Despite feeling a little bewildered, she couldn’t help but crack a smile at how flustered he seemed to be getting about it. Part of her definitely wanted to give the release a closer look, but it seemed really cruel to just leave the poor guy hanging like that. She laughed lightly, cheerful rather than actually mocking him in any way. ”As long as you don’t spend too much time on my pretty face, it should be fine.” She continued a bit more sincerely. ”Seriously though, I’m fine with it as long as it doesn’t get too personal or anything. It’s pretty cool that you’re doing something like that for your cousin.”
Closing her book, she turned to look at him properly. ”Oh, my name’s Amy by the way. Stevenson. So, where are you from anyway? You know, seeing as you’ve transferred in and everything.” Amy smiled openly, clearly inviting him to continue the conversation. While Virgil seemed a little nervous, he was friendly enough that she could enjoy talking to him a bit.
The ice was broken. Way to go, Virgil. Turning back to see where Eliana was, he noticed the Lovelace girl had taken a seat on a couch not too far away from them and started to read a book. Way to leave a guy hangin’, Ellie! Clearing his throat, he took a moment to sit near Amy, so they were more at eye level. He was 5’8” and she looked to be about two inches shorter. Yeah, so near eye level.
After placing his Panasonic DVX200 on his lap, he locked his dark gaze with her blue orbs, “I’m from LA but I got a big portion of fam here. It’s good to know you are in the dark with the… underworld… people usually react when they hear my surname. Either glorifying me because my dad is a big time director or nopin’ out of the area because of the rest of my family.”
Looking back at Ellie and then back at his new friend, he nonchalantly admitted, “Imma be honest, it’s not easy to get sigs for film. I already got the green light from the headmaster and mistress, but I gots to do the work myself, which is understandable. All I want to do is ask questions and find a story that shows ‘hey we all just people trying to learn’. But.” He brought his voice down low but acted like he was still talking casual with Amy, “In order to get Ellie’s signature, I needs to take you out on a date. I don’t want to force you to go somewhere with me and hell, I’d probably disappoint you because, uh.” His voice went even lower, “I’ve-never-been-on-a-date.”
The cat’s out the bag!
Not letting his awkwardness linger, he perked his body up and proposed, “I like you. You seem cool. And during this day and age, we needs to have people we trust. Help me and I’ll help you. That’s my motto. We can even use like the Fear Fest as ‘our date’, I doubt Ellie will monitor us. I needs to know a person before I can even consider… romance.” Honesty was the best policy and he talked better when he wasn’t thinking about hand holding and all that other… love stuff.
The look on Amy’s face at first was one of complete bemusement, and she couldn’t help but glance over at Ellie in the background. That seemed like a weirdly specific request, seeing as she couldn’t remember ever meeting the girl before. Was it just something she’d asked for in the hopes that Amy would ignore Virgil? Or maybe just that she’d not even consider the idea of the date no matter what he said. The scenario confused her, but she wasn’t quite as annoyed about it as she’d expected to be.
Listening to his explanation, she had to admit that his offer made sense on a basic level. Realistically, it wasn’t going to cost her much to actually go along with his plan - Although the comment about his family was definitely a little worrying. Now that she thought about it, the surname Hart rang a few bells, but it wasn’t something she’d picked up on as quickly as most people would. Growing up across the Atlantic probably helped with that. She doubted she’d heard as much about the Hart family as a lot of people.
After a moment of thought, Amy came to a decision and nodded slowly. ”You know what, I think I can do that.” Breaking into a friendly smile, she continued, ”If that’s all she wants, we basically just have to spend an evening in each other’s company or whatever, and you don’t seem half bad to talk to anyway. As far as company goes, I think I could do a lot worse.” She grinned, meeting his gaze. While she’d admittedly worried about his family for a second, Amy figured one evening wouldn’t do any harm. Besides, it was only fair to judge Virgil on how he acted for himself once she got the chance. ”Fear Fest it is.”
She said yes?! She said yes! Grabbing a hold of his camera, Virgil jumped up from the seat and victoriously yelled at Eliana, “HA! I did it.”
The librarian glared at the boy, “Mr. Hart, I will kick you out.”
“Nah, ma’am. I just got a date.” He twirled on his heel to look back at Eliana, which in that moment, the librarian sarcastically muttered ‘Congratulations’. “In your face, Lovelace!” All eyes were on them and he brought his voice down an octave, “I mean… in your face, Lovelace.”
With that, Eliana closed the book shut, placed it on the side table, and made her way to Virgil and Amy. By the time she reached them, Virgil already had a pen out. Lightheartedly rolling her eyes, Ellie grabbed the pen and gestured for him to turn around so she could use his back to write her name - having already read the terms and conditions, it was a fairly simple release. It made sense, since she was starting to learn Virgil was a simple boy, “See. You get two signatures and a date. It must be your lucky day. Don’t get too carried away now. Do remember you are replacing that one girl in the tournament... It’s just around the corner.”
Finishing her signature and handing the paper to Virgil, who had a wide childish grin on, Eliana smiled at the other girl, “Amy, right? I’m Eliana Lovelace, it’s nice to officially cross paths. I’m sure Virgil told you everything already. I honestly just wanted to see if he would do it. Looks like he isn’t that afraid to approach a girl, after all.”
“Wait what?! You were just takin’ a gamble?”
“It’s fun being mischievous, don’t you think?” Ellie stuck her tongue out at Virgil, before bringing her attention to the sound of his growling belly.
“Well I’m still taking Amy out! Because, a deal’s a deal. I keep my deals.” The young Hart gave Eliana a challenging stare. He’d show her. He COULD and WOULD handle a girl and take her out on a proper and AWESOME date. Just you watch, Ellie. Amy’s going to have a blast!
”Okay, you two, that’s enough.” With a slight chuckle, Amy stood up, looking between the pair of them. As entertaining as their bickering was, the noise of Virgil’s stomach growling had made her realise her own appetite. ”You two want to go get some food or something? I’m starved.”
I just got back from work, usually I get back by 7 PM EST time on Monday to Fridays (weekends off WOO). I'd imagine the FearFest timeskip will happen near actual Halloween LOL - LOOK AT THAT. I have a party Saturday night but I don't think Vicious and I have anything planned on Sunday, besides him working the morning shift.
How are you all? This is more of a checking up on you (and your sanity) message than any great announcements (maybe besides, I LOVE YOU GUYS). I know ya'll are still with me, at least the majority of you, and as always, I'm eternally grateful.
I hope you guys don't mind a slower paced roleplay around this season. I know some of you have college courses, others like myself and Hushed have jobs, so we'll make time for writing when we can.
Thank you for sticking with us. It really means a lot.
Also, for those who are still working on posts, since I am not well aware who is working on pre-timeskip posts or not. Please feel free to put a placeholder post in the IC tab sometime soon because my mission is to start our next chapter (IC day) by Sunday - but there's a chance I could do it earlier.
