I have an RP idea in mind where you play either a militarized task force designed to eliminate paranormal activity, or something akin to the Umbrella Secret Service.

I am trying to worldbuild god civs akin to the Time Lords or Xeelee, but so far I've yet to get anything concrete down. It is a tad frustrating, but I'll come up with something eventually. I hope.

@Obscene: And that is true. I might try that with a character I'm making for a fic actually. Though they'll be no-nonsense in a largely jovial kind of way.

Yeah. Static was just what popped into my head as the closest descriptor since those are less focused on the character's arc or internal struggle. Not the best wording to use admittedly.

I just want more protagonists with that same resolve, or barring that ones who aren't confused young adults looking to find their place in life analogues.

>Cool. So far as interest goes, I'm definitely still in for the time being, but my main concern is whether this will actually kick off IC-wise or not. No offense, and I understand everyone's busy, but I've had a look at some of your previous attempts at this where there was a lot of interest followed by silence as far as the actual starting of the game went.

>Again, I get that people are incredibly busy and that this is just a hobby, but I'd also hate to spend my time working out the details of a character I don't even get a chance to play.
>@Dragonfly 9, @Sniblet, @BreathOfTheWoof: Since I've not received a response from the last person who showed interest in this, I've decided to move ahead with the roleplay. We'll need to discuss which location we all want to start out at before we get to posting, but consider this officially back on.

*It takes a few days, but I am able eventually to restore the Earth back to its former state. The same one it possessed before being tainted by the destructive touch of mankind*

Now, what to work on next...

*Carefully inspects a rose as though its crimson petals contain some manner of secret*

Maybe I should create an entirely new species to take humanity's place? Or perhaps I should see to eradicating the Leviathans now that my brothers and sisters are no longer a threat.

*Pauses*

Then again, I do need to take care of the demons already. Twisted souls they might be, they still have their roots in man...

*Shrugs and grafts the rose back to its bush*

Oh well, I can always get around to that eventually. It's not like I'm short on time.
>Okay, now someone can throw a person in to interact with Lucifer.

*Dusting myself off and adjusting my tie, I saunter back out onto the street, arms open wide in a gesture of welcome*

I've traded one coward for another, it seems! Tell me little brother...

*My smile vanishes as my expression falls*

...why are you here?

Michael
*Steps out of the alleyway, eyes aglow with a blue light*

To do what I could not the first time.

*His fingers curl into fists*

To stop you.

*Blinks before cackling as my arms drop*

Stop me?! Oh that's rich coming from someone who ran like a dog at the first sign of danger!

*Continues to laugh until I eventually regain my composure*

Ah, at least Gabriel and the others made the attempt to stop me. You, on the other hand, just ran away to hide like the coward you are! Abandoning creation to its fate just like father!

*I step closer to thrust an accusing finger in his direction*

And now you want to do what? Waltz on back to play the role of savior in humanity's final hour?

*I scoff, my expression one of pure disgust*

What gives you the right?

*Shaking my head, I wave off Michael's response*

You know what? It doesn't really matter. I'm just glad you're back.

*I smile as I let my arm drop*

You know why?

Michael
*His eyes narrow*

*My body becomes suffused in a golden light as a pair of shadowy wings materialize on the ruined building behind me, and lightning strikes somewhere in the distance*

It's because I finally get to finish what father started, on my terms, not his.

*Lunges, landing a direct blow on Michael's chest that sends him flying across the city and through the interior's of several buildings*

*The fighting between us continues for days as more of the planet is destroyed, yet I refuse to relent, and Michael ultimately bends the knee - having been beaten into submission. Approaching him, I suspend him in the air telekinetically before fetching a gold triple-edged knife from my pocket*

It's over brother. I've won.

*I press the tip of the Archangel Blade to his throat*

Understand that what I am about to do is driven not by malice nor perverted pleasure, but necessity.

*Inserting the blade, I watch as it sears his flesh apart with ease to expose the Grace that lies beneath. Bringing him closer to me I siphon the celestial energy from his body, not stopping until I have consumed every last drop. With that done I close the wound and let my now human brother fall to the ground in a heap, slipping the blade back into my pocket as I do so*

I would apologize for things having to end this way...

Michael
*Remains silent*

But that would imply that the present state of creation is, in some way, my fault. But can the traits father wove into me upon my creation really be considered a fault? Let alone a fault of mine own doing?

*Exhales slowly*

I think not. He made me to play the role of his favored son, and then scorned me without consideration, just as he made you to be the ever loyal soldier destined to slay me. We were bound, you and I, to a fate we did not ask for, and an ending we did not wish to bring about. But here we are nonetheless...

*Approaches Michael and lays my hand upon his forehead*

...at the end of it all.

*Looking away, I smite him, burning his body to ash. Once the deed is done I let my hand fall, turn, and make my way back down the ruined street as the skies above me darken*

Story's over. Welcome to the end.

Dean
*Brandishes the Colt, aiming it directly at the monster that's taken control of his brother*

I know you're still in there Sammy! You have to fight him, you hear me? You can't just give up and let this son of a bitch win! Not after everything he's done to the world! To us!

*I shake my head*

Sammy's gone Dean. Has been for a while, actually. It's just me in here now. So if you're going to shoot-

*Gestures to the gun in his hand*

Then you might as well do it already.

Dean
*The hand with which he holds the gun shakes, though his finger never leaves the trigger*

Goddamn it Sammy! I know you can hear me! Just fight back!

*I sigh before rushing forward at superhuman speed to grab him by the throat, smacking the revolver from his hand effortlessly*

Don't say I didn't give you the opportunity, Dean.

*My eyes flare red once more as I begin to squeeze, slowly strangling the life from his body. Before I can deliver a killing blow, however, a blinding light rockets down into Dean's body - sending me flying into a building on the opposite side of the street. The light subsides as I get to my feet, though the recognition in my eyes does not*

Michael...

*Continuing to search, I eventually hear a commotion coming from a nearby alley*

This was always meant to be, Dean! Father always intended for me to fall, just as he always intended for you to meet your end by my hand, just like Michael!

*Drawing closer, I round the corner and come face to face with Dean Winchester. In his hand is the Colt, the one false hope he and his brother had of killing me and preventing the Apocalypse*

And don't worry, I fully intend to give my coward of a brother exactly what he deserves once I'm finished with you.

*I slip my hands into my pockets*

You really should have said yes when he asked, though. You might have had a chance then... but now that I've taken control of my true vessel?

*I shrug, the motion carries a strange energy of casualness in spite of the grim circumstances and surroundings*

I'd be surprised if you lasted more than a second.

*Strides out into an empty street lined with the blown out husks of cars and trucks, the buildings around me groaning in protest as their structures slowly collapse and crumble*

Come on Dean! Why fight?

*Smirks*

We both know that little peashooter of yours can't kill me! You might as well give up...

*My eyes flare red*

...accept fate. The one my father wrote for you, for me, for all of us!
