That's fine by meAwesomesauce. I edited it to exclude the ice part. I mean this was the only thing that mentioned the ice. So it should be more acceptable now. => Water Dragon Slayer Magic - A type of Dragon Slayer Magic that grants the user various characteristics a water dragon. Consequently, Water Dragon Slayer Magic allows the user is able to breathe underwater as well as produce and control water, possibly to the extent of making it hotter or colder at will, from any part of their body, which can be used both in melee and as a ranged form of offense, assuming said user is skilled enough. Typically, controlling the temperature of even the most basic spells takes considerable amounts of practice. The water produced may be cold as ice or scolding hot. The user's blows may be capable of great damage or even capable of giving off the feeling of freezing and possibly cause some sort of numbness or hypothermia or burning a target upon impact. The only ability which takes little practice is the ingestion of the user’s element. They may intake water whether it is freezing cold or scalding hot with no adverse effects.

I think itnwas the loghtening God slayer when he developing the fire lighting abilities. In anycase, yes, a water user could make their water hotter or colder, and what you are describing there is juvia. But she can only make ice, when paired with Gray. And they do that unionson raid. I don't magically think that the water dragon slayer could use ice, unless eating the properties of another dragon slayer or God slayers magic that is connected to iceOkay I can remove the ice point, but keep the ability to possibly make it hotter or colder, right? I can work with this. And possibly encounter a magic or other slayer of some sort to gain the additional ice properties (Maybe?) in some future point in time. lol The Water Ice Dragon God XD No but seriously... Just the possibility would be reassuring.
I'd also like to point out that you can't really compare the concepts of magic/reality of one anime with another unless they are in the same universe. Apples to oranges, ya know. ^^'Well I wasn't necessarily comparing the abilities so much as the concept itself. But I get what you're saying and have no choice but to agree as I do believe this to be the case in a majority of arguments.
The concept is that if water has various forms, by manipulating the magic and element itself which the dragon or dragon slayer has control over, they should be able to access those other variations. If it's necessary delving deeper into Azuron's past could possibly also be a cause of this magic change as he was essentially brought back to life and experimented on and studied. That I just thought it was new. Laxus transferred his magic to Natsu and proceeded to tank the ultra powerful attack without any magic or protection and the gift gave birth to the Lightning Flame Dragon XDWell the argument can be that laxus gave natsu his magic to eat and since natsu had eaten it before the combination was extraordinary.that could be a part of it too but i think part of it was that it was a special lighting spell if i remember correctly.

Okay so are you tryin to say there is no sort of science at all in the fairy tail magic? No gravity manipulation? No archive magic which is a pretty scientific in my opinion with all the computerized stuff.
What I'm trying to say is that the element of the water dragon is a fairly large encompassing thing. If snow and ice are made of water should they not be considered a part of the water element?
If you wanna remove the scientific element, let's say that through the growin mastery of hisor her magic the user of water dragon slayer magic is able to make the water hotter or colder at will. I'm not using science there. Simply a more powerful and intricate manipulation of magic. In the end it's te same thing.
It's a concept that does make a lot of sense even in the Fairy Tail world.
But Slayer magic and Bending are completely different. You don't control it so much as you wield it. If you want to make a Water Bender, then make a water bender, not a Slayer.I don't see why it's such a problem. Behind that this is Fairy Tail, it should be possible to control the state in which ones magic, especially the element of a dragon or dragon slayer, is in. I'm not saying I want a water bender. I simply posed an idea which does make sense. It's not like he's gonna show up and god mod with the ice, snow, etc. right away. If it's made of water, it should in all logical standing count as a sort of variation reachable through extensive training and gathering knowledge of one's craft.

I believe Cirus is worried it may be too much. I am trying to give examples of such as Avatar and I'm sure I could find other things, but so far it is to no avail.
