I came into anime because of SAO and log horizon. Someone recommended them to me...I watched them, someone jumped into fairy tail, and the rest is history

4Kids, No matter how much shit they pulled, how many shows the absolutely ruined, the brought Anime to many many kids who are still anime fans today. So I gove them credit for that. Toonami helped too.

Fairy tail has a great charm, same charm that Rave Master has. It was great up until the grand magic games then It kinda fell flat. and it doesn't really have as much charm as before. Especially after the time skip. Not to say it was bad after that just wasn't as appealing as it was at first.
