Current Remember, nobody actually enjoys roleplaying if there isn't at least five shameful fetishes uncovered by the 2nd page.

Somebody stole my mood ring. I don't know how to feel about it.

Let's be honest, it's far more satisfying and challenging to actually imagine what a character looks like than paste a hundred gifs of a celebrity and call it good.

So, a team of players who are good at playing as a team in a team-based game are individually bad players. Seems kind of silly when you put it like that, no?

My goal these days is to have an RP that can actually finish, or the very least, last a few years. I see way too many die on page one to take chances

“I’m mostly an alchemist, the craftsmanship is just something I do on the side.” Teruk explained. “You’d be amazed at what you can do with a knife and time to spare between sales.”

The Deku nodded enthusiastically when the Zora decided he was a prospective customer. It was a thing customers always did, making it seem like a shop was a step above the rest in hopes of being granted a discount. Teruk didn’t particularly mind, and he was flexible with the price of his goods. He wasn’t kidding when he mentioned that he picked up his carving skills and craftsmanship to pass the time. It was something that a lot of Deku learned how to do since they were young, since Woodfall rarely imported many goods from the outside realms, relying on their own resources and talents to eke out a living in the swamplands. Teruk was learning to tie knots and smooth out wood and bone almost as young as he was learning how to spit Deku nuts and bubbles. It was just an added bonus that he had a fairly creative eye when it came to knife work; several decorative engravings adorned the logs that framed his family’s home, giving it a distinctive flare compared to the neighbouring buildings.

Griga seemed rather excited to talk about his homeland. In truth, Teruk did find it interesting; he’d never seen the ocean before, and he’d heard much about the coast. He couldn’t imagine a stretch of water so vast you couldn’t take it all in, or clean white sand that wasn’t filled with rocks and decomposing organic matter. The water seemed to sound the most unbelievable of all; clear light blue water that you could actually see the bottom of, even several meters deep. It was simple impossible to fathom for a man who had only ever known the murkiness of the swamps and the rivers of Termina’s fields. “As a matter of fact, I am rather interested in going to the Great Bay; it’s something that’s rarely seen by my people. I’ve heard many stories, I suppose I’d like to see if it’s all true or not. I haven’t met many Zora, I must admit I find your people rather curious and interesting, considering how isolated Woodfall is compared to the rest of the world. I’ve always taken an interest in other people and culture, I just never had much of a chance to travel.” He admitted.

When prompted about his skill with magic, Teruk chuckled. “I very much so am quite handy with an incantation as I am with a pestle and mortar. I am rather adept in the Forest Magics, as well as Shadow Magics. It comes in handy, since being able to manipulate the flora can yield several useful reagents and Shadow magic helps me understand on a deeper level how my potions affect people. I’ve always been quite studious and careful to not to alter what works too much; after all, alchemy is a precise practice. Too little, and something may not work. Too much, and it could make someone quite ill… or worse. The fact I am confident enough to have a customer loyalty program should say volumes for how confident I am in my own abilities and your satisfaction as one of my clients. As a mage, I understand exactly what needs to go into a potion to get the most out of my energy reserves. There isn’t a potion on display here that I have not first tried on myself.” He stated confidently. “You will be most pleased, I assure you.”
Welcome to the party!

Kind of amusingly, my gamer tag when I first got Xbox Live was Ravenwulfe.

....I'm so tempted to type my own version of this post, only it would be much....cruder...

There's no need to be overtly hostile towards people, I find. Could be a simple matter of not knowing how the guild works, even though she really should have known better and shouldn't have just barged in uninvited.

I wondered what was going on...And at the same time, it makes me blush that I was allowed in. Me, with sub-par writing abilities at best.

We wouldn't have accepted you if you didn't meet the expectations and we didn't think that you were a decent writer and a person. Don't sell yourself short; you've consistently written at a high quality. Look at that last post!

Hm. May do a Broker post seeing as how I haven't done any Nova'ing for a little over a month. However, I'm stuck on what I want for content.

You could try to bump start messages between crew members? Maybe a journal entry/ extranet activity from Roland? Concerns he has, opinions on the team and events that happened, reference the sporting event everyone attended at the bar?
Also, dress presentably. This should be painfully obvious, but the amount of idiots go go into job interviews in their street clothes is staggering. Look like you give a shit and want to convey a professional image. Clean yourself up, put on a nicely ironed dress shirt and paints, a nice pair of shoes, and act like you have a lot to offer.

A big thing to keep in mind is you're trying to sell yourself, and they're trying to find someone who can be an asset to their company, not just filling a position because everyone needs a job and they're obligated. Learn what you can about where you're applying and what it does and offers, and thing of how you can relate your own skills into something that would be a transferable skill to the job you're applying for. Keep a good posture the whole time, keep enthusiastic and attentive, and basically make it seem like you want to be there. Also, turn your goddamn phone off. Mostly, if you get an interview, they're mainly looking at someone who is a good fit personality wise and to see if you match what you have on your resume and cover letter.

I don't know who you are, but I have a feeling you don't understand how games work on this site. The gist is you check to see if they're open, read the contents of the first OOC post to find out what the game is about, submit a character sheet for approval, and get up to speed on in game events before posting. The fact it's painfully obvious you did none of that is not how I felt like starting my day.

You just jumped into an Advanced game with a small paragraph without understanding what this game is about or what's happening (completely ignoring the requirements along the way, as well as expectations.), making a post with a character that was not approved in the go-to starting location in Skyrim for 99% of Skyrim roleplays without realizing that this game doesn't take place in Skyrim, as all the players are currently in Hammerfell. I don't think you even know who the antagonists are. And clearly you missed the big bolded words saying the game was closed in the header because you didn't read.

That completely rude behaviour doesn't fly. I've had to turn away a lot of roleplayers because the game was full and we have a lot of players as it is, enough that it makes it challenging for two GMs to ensure the plot and game meaningfully include all of them. They had the courtesy to at least read the OOC and submit a sheet first.

That said, you are not a part of this game. Please leave.
This is why I write everything in Word.
Oh look, something I had no intention of buying because it's a toaster compared to my PC.
The third image with the dude grabbing the glass from the waiter is the best thing ever the more you think about it.

Also, bumper tanks!
It's okay, mbl! I appreciate your attempt anyways! I know it's hard to keep motivation going for something that requires that much drawing. o.O Either way, that comic sounds pretty awesome. I expect you do at least do that. ;D
