Current It's been a long time, RPGuild. I hope you're all well.

Bio

HI THERE~!

Thank you for visiting my profile!

You can call me Destiny. I am a 26-year-old pansexual woman from the USA who has been roleplaying since 2007. I got my start on a Kingdom Hearts fan-forum, and now here I am! My roleplaying interests include slice-of-life, romance, drama, fantasy, and anime fandom. Did I mention I am a HUGE otaku? :D

I write at a high-casual/advanced level as far as the amount of content I write per-post, but I'm not into flowery language most of the time. My writing is very simple, with a lot of the focus being on the characters and how their thoughts and feelings are developing. Realism is the name of my game! This stems from the fact that, when I am not roleplaying or slaving away for a large technology conglomerate at my day job, I am working on plays and films as a professional actress. With this being my passion, it's quite literally my job to pick apart each character's brain to find the motivation behind their words and actions. I'm just saying, that kind of obsession shows in my writing.

For my partners, I mostly do 1x1 RPs unless a group really catches my eye. I expect 2-3 paragraphs per post and prefer those who can respond at least once a day. Original stories catch my eye more than fandoms, but I don't rule anything out until I've tried it- trust me, if something's not working I'll let you know. I do not write smut, but if it is story-driven I will consider 18+. I'm really not picky; these are just guidelines for how to *guarantee* I will love our RP! I've been surprised before!

A fair warning in advance: I'm also a little crazy. I am diagnosed with Anxiety and Depression, so if I am feeling off I may just stop responding. My mental health does come first. Rest assured, I will pick up the pieces and clear my head enough to reply soon. I use my writing as an outlet, so I can never stay away more than a couple of days. That being said, my Guild partners are my family. Y'all have helped me through the worst times of my life and continue to remind me why I'm still alive on this Earth. So just know that I am here to do the same for any of you, even if we've just met. :)

Anywho, if this sounds like your thing then shoot me a PM! I swear I'm friendly, albeit a little strange, and I don't bite (hard)!

Ari nodded. "I see... Well, family tradition is important" She replied, smiling sweetly. "Especially if it is something you enjoy, and you do seem to enjoy it. I, for one, am very grateful to meet such a variety of people. I... don't get to leave home, much." Her eyes had a faraway look for a minute.
Ari remained silent for awhile as he was greeting guests. After a moment of hesitation, she spoke again. "So, are you used to throwing parties as grand as these? I do not believe I have ever heard of so many... cultures gathering together. It really has been fun."
Ari nodded. "Well... It was such a pleasure to be greeted by you, perhaps I wanted to try it, too." She attempted to tease him a bit, moving to stand next to him as he continued. He was a kind host; she wanted to thank him for having her there yet couldn't find the words.
Ari noticed Eric waved at her and waved back with a polite smile. Why am I so on edge? I did come here to meet new people... No more being shy! She walked up to Eric gracefully, giving him a light curtsey. "Mind if I join you over here?" She asked.
Ari thought Elizabeth was wonderful, but hadn't expected her to become the center of attention. Having so many others around made her worry about her secret being discovered. "I'm Ari. It's a pleasure to meet both of you." She smiled kindly and glanced a bit warily at James- he was staring pretty intently- before answering Elizabeth. "Of course I came back? I did say I was just getting food." She tried to seem calm... and normal. As they spoke she listened quietly, munching on shrimp as she watched her new friend be whisked away to dance.
Posted, sorry for the edit I'm at work and missed some of your posts while helping a customer lol
Ari sighed to herself, feeling horrible for running off like she had. Things seemed to be livening up, but all she could think about was how she had floundered. It was normal to ask someone to be your friend, right? She shook her head and pulled her shawl around her tighter, concealing her gills once more. Focus on one thing at a time... food. Still unsure of what Elizabeth would like, she returned with a comically large plate of appetizers. "H... Here," Her face was flushed as she handed the woman the plate. "I, uh... meant to ask what you like, but forgot... sorry..." She smiled sheepishly, looking down at her own plate of shrimp and other seafood.

Noticing the newcomers, she took a nervous step back and adjusted her shawl, again. "Oh, I didn't mean to interrupt..." She murmured quietly, looking uncomfortable.
I'm still here just no idea what to do next >_<"
Mari blinked in surprise, watching this new character carefully. He stammered when he spoke, and overall just didn't seem to want to be interviewing her. Now she felt bad, having probably pulled him away from his customers. So he was the barista and one of the owners? That made sense. As quiet as he was, he did seem very intelligent... When he finally spoke, she flinched and sat up straighter, having been lost in her thoughts. "A-Ah, yes! I-It's nice to meet you!" She mentally smacked herself and shook his hand, her own shaking and clammy. Calm down, calm down... Her stomach was so knotted up, she really wished she could run away to the bathroom. Alas, there were questions that needed to be answered!

His first question caught her off-guard, almost as much as everything else he had said. "Oh, I-I know this is a cafe..." She clenched her hands on her lap again, seeming a bit robotic in her movements. "A-And it has a cat theme. T... That's about it, I guess..." She sunk down into her chair a bit, trying to ignore that feeling that she had failed when this was only the first question. "I-I've never had a job before... and I'm r-really not good at much..." She sunk a bit lower, seeming to get down on herself. Of course, why would they want to hire her? She had nothing to contribute... Shaking her head, she sat up once again. "B-But I am a really hard worker! I h-have good grades... Oh, and I like cats! And sweets! Though I guess that has n-nothing to do with... serving them..." She laughed a bit awkwardly, fiddling with her hands as she looked down at her lap. Her face was flushed with embarrassment. This was not going very well.
@OliveYou I don't mind doing a quick back-and-forth if that's easier! :) He is so precious!! <3
