I'll see what I can do. I've mostly been doing my thought process' of Italy on their unique and shitty government model that is 100% going to backfire one day, and making sense of the Turkish Invasion(still drawing blanks but process is being made).

Also, I've been writing this post and I've quickly realized I am SHIT at writing about politics. Good way to learn, I guess.

Best way to learn is to try, then watch Game of Thrones and House of Cards and of those intrique-based dramas. Or read Byrd posts.
Actually, I'mma go walk to downtown Lansing for lunch now that their collective girths has freed up the small walking space out has cleared.

I wanted to try this one small restaurant I've been looking at when I go have Jimmy Johns.
And in typical Russian irony, they sing glorious Cossack choir songs as they fight.
Fuck outta there.
Bomb that place if possible.

I could leave if I wanted, but then there's not much I could do if I did. Like, I suppose I could go get lunch and head to my next class to work on my web-design project early. But then I would be sitting in on the starter web-design class where on their free time some of the people in there like to echo-chamber their politics.

It's not that I don't agree with them; it's just I don't think the issues they got oppinions about are wholly the highest point on a priority list. But I suppose they're more minor than geeking out about a game that didn't get an update for a year and Halo 5.
Pls. You should see my uni.

If your uni is like the corner of the student commons here at my college then I know that feel.

Under-washed, over-weight people hanging around to play Magic the Gathering with le funneh meme shirts, long-hair coming out from under their fedoras, and improperly trimmed beards.

Try being edgy. That'll scare them.

My neighbors are already the emo-nerd type, so I don't think I can phase them.

About half of them in this computer row listen to commercial black-metal or whatever kids listen to these days. But then they juxtipose this with soft-spoken nerdiness about casual games.

The best I can do to probably tune them out is continue reading my online German newspapers.
Every time I see that Roman revolt page on the wiki, I cringe. Then I remember that shit like that is actually normal for Italy, happening like six times since Charlemagne died. Italy, continuing to disappoint me with being unable to free itself from it's obsessiveness with Rome.

Hey guys, did you know Rome is pretty great? Praise Ceaser.

On that topic, on my storm of Wiki maintenance I noticed some pages that could be cleaned up when it comes to Italy. Or at least some things that need linking around or tagged. I think I fixed most of that, but when it comes to some of the older stuff I don't know how much they fit into the cannon now. Being the proprietor of Italy, could you go through someday and do some follow up on my end?

Actually, I ask that of about everyone. I already had to write @Rare's Hungary page for him. But he seems to be dead so it's not like he's been able to do that in past couple months, or in the future months.
Quotes of the day:

"PC master raec"

"Have you played Terraria? ... Have you played Minecraft?"
The Jew was confused to all hell, he shrank back into the corner and watched as the pineapples entered the fray.
I feel like a fitting sub-topic to slide into this conversation is the presence of alternative fanons to canon material. Sort of alternate time-line/universe concepts that are within the same realm as the source material, but divergent enough that it evades the stickiness of rigidly conforming to an established canon. This of course falls into a world of argument where these AU universes may not be totally complimentary to the source.

My only major experience in this sort of topic is the world of My Small Technicolor Horses: Platonic Campanionship is Witchcraft and "Fallout: Equestria" so my opinion may not be all that diverse as it stands. And even then the relationship of MLP to Fo:E is something that shouldn't exist but somehow it does; and may not be compatible with other shows since the formula for that is such a impossibility. It's an anomaly in a way.

But as Fo:E stands it's one of the more successful sub-genres of horse enthusiasm spawning from its original fic a plethora of side-fics each with its own interpretation of the "canon" laid out by Kkat and all independent of each other. It's perhaps a useful model to look at when approaching existing media and its canon and to apply one's own fanon: finding a point where you can diverge from the existing canon to create something independent but related while feeding off the same image of the source material.

There is then of course the topic of juxtiposed literary ironies and opposites in FoE versus MLP, but that's a whole other topic that begins to bleed into more autism than I already laid out.
Apply faith to a heavy mix of vodka, gin, tonic, and maybe some wine or fruity vermouth.
