The Romans and Han Chinese ruled over very large regions in comparison to what we have going on. As for the Incans, I don't think their population was ever very high. And the population thing is going to be off. It's sort of silly, because we will never use it, so all the population section will contribute is pointless arguments.

At the same time it reminds people that they can't pull soldiers out of their ass and increase gameyness when there's nothing keeping some from having an infinite supply of men.
