@Skallagrim Hmm.

Here's a challenge to you, Skall: make an unarmed fighter who uses mainly his legs instead of his hands. Something akin to a tae kwon do or a capoeira practitioner. As for powers, I don't know go crazy lol

Do that, and I might challenge you to a ranked match against a similar themed fighter I'm in the process of writing now.
@GreivousKhan I am in three unranked matches, but I am free to take one more. That'll be my limit.

Just a warning though, I do only have roughly three usable arena characters at the moment. Link is in my sig.
I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark and guess Singapore

DING DING DING Give the man a prize!
Kimchee is not alcohol, it's fermented cabbage in spicy marinade. Tastes like shit, except when you're drunk.

You take that back .
What do you guys have planned over the summer?

In Asia there is no summer. D:

I'm up for it. As long as our other players are still here, which is what I keep trying to find out but Hex is complaining so I'll stop.
I actually didn't notice MAH BAD DURR XD
Is it just me or have none of the other characters save for mine noticed that the power in the city is completely out? X3
Sorry for the huge delay in posting. I got distracted and kinda forgot. DX
"Contact! Contact!"

Jimmy yelled as fire began to pepper the front wall of their shelter. The front door, a flimsy thing made of wood, splintered and tore under the sustained fire of the insurgents that took cover in the village square. Machine gun and assault rifle fire screamed and tore through the windows and door, thudding into the stone and dirt walls, making the four men within duck and dive for cover.

"Shit! Any plans, Jimmy?!"

"Take cover, wait for a lull! When we got a chance, flash and return fire!"

With a quick nod, Connor pulled a small metal canister from his vest and pulled the pin, keeping his grip on it tight. When the fire outside slowed as some of the enemy moved forward to check out the situation, he lobbed it out the window and covered his ears, his team following suit.

The flashbang grenade tumbled into the center of a circle of men and went off. An extremely loud bang followed by a burst of white light disoriented the turban-clad insurgents, making them fire their guns blindly into the air or floor.

With that distraction, Jimmy peeked out a window and leveled his gun.

"Return fire!"

The four men drew beads on exposed insurgents and fired. Rifles coughed and spat hot lead into warm bodies, toppling men where they stood. The firefight resumed in earnest, the two sides trading fire even as men fell to the professional work of Tiger team.

None, however, had noticed the cyborg soldier hiding nearby. The insurgent force was practically in front of him with their backs turned and big ol' targets painted on them.
He saw the monk's movements before he loosed the arrow. The tiny flinch of his hand as it pulled back a fraction, the tensing of the arm and the twitch of the tendons in his hand as his fingers released themselves from the arrow's feathers. All this happened in a fraction of a second, nearly the height of his enhanced reflexes and vision.

Then the arrow left the bow, travelling across the hallway in a blaze of speed. Its motion slowed in his eyes, he had all the reaction time he needed to lean slightly to the right, letting the arrow sail right past him, embedding itself deep in the stone wall behind him. With a small smile, he resumed his stance, rolled his shoulders and stretched the kinks out of his neck.

"Well then now that's just rude. You wanna play this way, fine then. I'll play rough."

With a flick of his free hand the water in the hallway began turning into ice, swiftly and steadily. He braced his right foot, bent slightly to gather his strength, and then pushed off from his right. This action made him hop into the air slightly as the leap forward closed the distance between him and the monk, even as the water beneath him froze solid, trapping his feet and ankles in a solid, icy grip.

A second passed. Two.

Daniel landed on both his feet and, using the ice as a rudimentary slip-n-slide, let his right foot skid forward. His body twisted left and he leaned to the left, lowering his left hand to the ice to clamp down on it, slowing his progress forward enough to turn his forward momentum into a sideways spin on his left foot. Maintaining the crouch he swept his right leg right around counter-clockwise, aimed right for the monk's left shin.

Continuing the spin, he came round again, still pivoting on his left foot, and threw up his free hand as a feint, palm up in a quick flicking motion that did nothing, while beneath him his sword arm came up swiftly in a straight, quick diagonal jab from Xing Yi's low left, aiming to hit his solar plexus with the hilt of his sword. He would be in a kneel now, his right knee on the ice with his left foot bracing.

All this, from dodge to leap to kick to feint to jab, took merely seconds, what would seem like a short moment to the monk.

False god he may be, but speed was his game.
