Tis up!
@Fallenreaper
He's at Start Position #1, facing the rest of the arena.

Thread is up.

Gonad's equipment and garments lay in a big heap behind him. He was buck naked, shamelessly performing a set of deep, mighty squats. It was too hot down in this crater to wear anything while exercising. The path ahead was blocked until he dealt with the next challenge, so until said challenge arrived, by God he would squat as no man had ever squatted before. Being at the bottom of a volcano was no excuse to skip leg day. Upon his grizzled mug was a look embodying stern concentration, along with a couple smudges of blueberry from the pie he had taken at the entrance. A stereotypical dumb brute, the sort that normally got booted into space by the smaller, more clever heroes early on. There would be little reason for a challenger to think twice about this. Except...

What sort of man emptied his bowels where he pleased? Who would thrive naked and unarmed among enemies, out in the open?

A mental image, unbidden, sailed by on the hot wind.

Some things do not have natural enemies...

I'm used to In-Game and chat roleplays, where everything is real time. I try to post as soon as possible, so don't worry about inactivity!

The battle takes place in a deep pit, which both constestants have fallen or climbed into. The bridges have steady footing, but are very hot, and hard to walk upon for long. There are no barriers around the magma pools, anything that touches the magma is burned/melted. The ground is hard, level, and smooth. Weather conditions will be hot for the first 10 posts of the fight, after which thick steam will begin to build up in the arena, gradually reducing visibility.

Pommels aren't very meaty though.
Knuckle sandwiches are tastier than pommels.
Now the follow up, did she think she could lift herself in armour so quickly as to avoid Sigurd’s forward momentum? Not a chance. The point of his longsword was fitting into place to the left of his shield as it made heavy contact with Iolanthe’s hoplon, depriving her of her precious guard. His right foot shot forward as her left leg tried to propel itself backwards, his foot dropping down, and without any upsets, just in time to catch his enemy’s own. It was almost childish to try to trample on someone’s foot in battle, but it could also be of extreme usefulness.

That's my signature move...

As the knight readied his shield, Zande took a sudden step forwards before attacking, aiming to plant his right foot upon the knight's left.

As this occurred Gonad would take another step forwards, aiming to plant his left boot directly atop the King's right whilst trying to peel his shield away. They would be virtually face to face if this happened.

Whilst the man was in the midst of finishing the word "traveled", Zande would clench his raised left fist and step forwards. But this seemingly simple action was of far greater significance than the simple threat of a punch. You see, when the wildman stepped forth he'd have done so with the intent to firmly plant his left foot upon Nicoli's left and bear down...

He'd step with the knight, left foot seeking to trap the right. If Zachary again dodged, the tribesman would keep relentlessly stomping after his feet, as if they were engaged in a demented, rapid tango.
