Appearance & Attire: When it came to genetics, Annette got the best of both worlds from her father and mother. Her mother's beautiful blonde curly hair got passed down and is Anne's favorite thing about herself. Seriously, she spends at least an hour every day tending to it. Anne is relatively tall for a girl, standing at 5'11" and weighing 145 lbs. She's pretty much the opposite of lithe when it comes to body type. Annie's got wide hips and strong arms. Attire depends on how Anne feels at the time. Usually she prefers more industrious clothing like weathered jeans and boots, but occasionally you might see a girl underneath wearing a dress or skirt. She ain't no butch.
Most of her body has been developed over years through a combination of good food, lots of work, and just a dash of exercise sprinkled in. At a young age, she took up her father's profession with pride, diving into the work with eagerness and skill. Welding is a relatively labor intensive activity, so she's earned her muscles. That and a combination of fledgling blacksmithing for fun, she's quite the brawny person. Yeah, she was a helluva tomboy in her youth and still is to this day.

Ignore the ears.As said earlier, Annie's current profession is one of Welding. A combination of a youth of four years in a trade school means she can give most welders a run for their money. On the side, Anne's taken up blacksmithery in her off time. Making swords and horseshoes is fun, what can she say? When it comes to book smarts, Anne is fairly good at literature. She loves books and will devour them if given the chance. She also has other useful skills like carpentry and fishing, but they're standard for the par.
Brief Backstory:Annie was born one cold winter under Ronald and Martha Dufrane. The two young adults did their best to raise their child but quickly learned she wasn't an average girly girl. Suffice to say they quickly crumbled under Anne's attack and let her pursue talents she wished to. At around twelve, she begged to be brought to her father's workplace at a steel mill. She was a damn curious one in her youth. When it came to school, she fit in for the most part. Girls can be real bitches.
It was only when she finished her first major project as a smithy when she discovered her powers. After a sleepless night of working, she had finally finished her first sword. A simple shortsword, but still one that took her time and effort to build. Staring at the weapon, sweating up a storm in the summer heat, she felt her power come to her. She herself was utterly flabbergasted as a small iron wolf crawled out of the blade, latched on to her finger.
The next few years were fairly strange for Annie. She slowly learned her power, increasing in strength and flexibility, though she wasn't quite sure what to do with them. One of the things she enjoyed was to put on puppet shows for children. With her ability to create complex puppets, they loved it. Her constructs are naturally playful and follow her commands to the T. It was only recently that she was invited to go to Academy 218 after graduating from high school. It was a tough choice but she decided it would be for the best to go.
Power Information
Power Class:Elemental
Power:Annie's powers are the ability to make constructs out of inorganic materials. The appearance and shape of these constructs depends on Annie's imagination and the material used. Hand contact with the surface of the material allows her to 'pull' her constructs out of it. Concrete, wood, steel, cotton. Hell, she can even pull things out liquids. You ever seen a dragon made out of cola? These 'Golems' as she calls them retain cohesiveness until acted on by a stronger force than they can withstand. When it comes to shapes, Annie can usually make anything her mind comes up with. More human and complex shapes are harder to produce, but with enough focus and time she can create them.
Limits:There are three major restrictions on her power. Size, material, and complexity. Size is the most obvious. She's most limited by weight and mass of her constructs when building them. Current estimations on limitations is three times her body weight. Roughly four hundred fifty pounds. The second restriction, material, is a whole 'nother ballpark. Materials like steel and tungsten are a lot harder to manipulate than, say, dirt or water. The last is simple. The more complex the more time and focus it takes to create.
Weaknesses/Drawbacks:When it comes to her Golems, their weaknesses depend on the type of material and size. Weaker things are much easier to destroy, and depending on the type can be dispatched quickly. Electricity is efficient against liquid, fire and heat can burn through her wooden constructs easily, and her larger and tougher constructs are much slower. When it comes to numbers, Annie can only control a certain amount before new ones simply refuse to answer her mental commands. She also has trouble controlling more than a few during combat, as dividing her attention leaves her at risk. She herself isn't much of a fighter, though she has gotten into plenty of scraps, she has no formal training. If you take her out, they remaining constructs will simply cease working.
Relationships
Family: Ronald Dufrane: Anne's old man. Gruff and to the point. Years of steel working have left him with a bum-leg. Enjoys helping his daughter with blacksmithing and welding.
Martha Dufrane: Anne's mother. Loves her daughter, but wishes she would chooser a more fitting career.
Dynamics:Annie don't know nobody.
