After thinking about it for a while and reading your post with Termite I have come up with my mind on the topic:

Ilunabar had always dealt with the things called "sin" on quite a favorable way. The Phantasmagoria's main group of "geniuses" for example, had a lot to do with Sins. Grinder was a lazy gluton, Susa had the wanderlust, the Vascogne are the greedy trade people. Etc.

And let's not get started on Pride. And that is where the differences of view start, to quote the latest post. "But was any Pride truly good? It was called a Sin for a reason, he knew that oh so well"

In Illy's view yeah, Pride is quite good, and necessary, and like other feelings, shouldn't be eaten away and turning the person into puppets. She made sure Lifprasil wouldn't do that kind of stuff and was clearly bothered by his psych powers, it makes sense her reaction would be the same here.

I think this alone is a point of rivalry, and I think this makes sense In Character without the influence of my views on Xerxes OOC. (And sincerely, after reading Jvan's collab, it feels far more OK with the current tech than the "multiple harbors" thing of the other post)

So, unless you are clearly against it, some shenanigans might start happening on the borders of Amartía's influence.

@BBeast Well, the thing is that I thought the Capital was far too much, thus why I made sure to keep it under fog, so the whole trade thing doesn't take place inside the city. Because it was supposedly far too neat for the average village of the world back then. And even then, it was the work of a goddess, a demi-god, three avatars and two-three heroes.

Now Xerxes, is not only very advanced, but has been basically making trade and all, and was originally going to be outright an empire until people said "its a bit too early for that, city state please"

@LokiLeo789 I just want you to understand that we have just got into the bronze age, your city, even with the pyramid, should ideally not go much beyond what Ur was. A place with something between 10 thousand to 50 thousand people.

Idk, it just feels jarring to have so much going on when a while ago I was setting up the very first trade. Maybe it's just me taking Loki's descriptions for something grander than what they actually are, but it all feels a bit too much.

This has put me on a very odd spot where I feel Ilunabar could possibly want to act a bit in the region, but since I, as a player, also feel like there is a bit too much going on in Xerxes, I feel like I could be metagaming or something.

@Kho Apparently. I'm not caught up with the latest Xerxes post, but the last one I read was already mentioning the need for currency.

What do you think about this whole business? Is it okay or is he reaching the Atlantis mark?

With me, it's kinda the opposite actually.

I believing I am in such a bad time exactly because I'm consuming media. And usually, it's when I start getting tired of said media that I find the inspiration to write again.

Oh yeah, you don't even need to ask me about Xerxes, some stuff is definitely going to happen and Ilunabar will definitively get her worshippers. Oh it will be great, there will be waifus, and entertainment, and everything is going to be just fine. The whole crew will probably be called, the fun loving makeda, the ever so responsible chroma, meimu will be all like "winners don't do drugs"...

Sadly, I'm currently very out of creative juice. I don't know, I just can't write properly, can't get into the mood of the RP.

And of course, Illuny isn't just going to show up and throw a surprise party, there will probably be a post about them going out to buy confetti, silly hats and cake.

Damn, Dawn returning just made me realize that there has been only One turn since his last post, over three months ago.

I guess storing the might to make that Holy Site/Library that would give might to other gods is basically unthinkable if this is the pace we are playing.
