Mid/High Casual - Divinus: The Deity Roleplay Mk.II

Hey everybody. I've been lurking in the shadows reading the IC and am interested in joining this RP. I already talked about some of the details with @Kho for a while.

Any ideas or suggestions for what sort of character the RP is missing? Having read through the whole IC I know that some gods are gone and left open portfolios but I'd rather not try to overwrite previous characters or tread where others have already gone.

Hmmm.
We do not have gods of insects, of sickness, of birds, of thunder, of love, of friendship/cooperation/family, of the home, of the moons(plural), of the night, of glory/heroism, of medicine, of tradition, of language, of strength, of curiosity/exploration, of weather/seasons, of freedom... The list is big. It would be easier if you mentioned stuff you'd like to play with.

I don't mind references, even players not involved with MK1 do references to other stuff, Me with greek myth, Mardox and that fictional universe. So I don't mind MK1 being referenced. Some allusions to it are fine too, like if someone bullied amartia by saying "Your spirit sings the song of one unshakably self-centered, hungry for knowledge, hungry for control, and hungry for legacy." that would be neat.

But if anyone gets close to living my joke about recreating MK1 in a dream to meta bombard people, that is an issue for me. Having knowledge, or worse, power, from the previous game isn't very nice.

Furthermore, on this case, in particular, I have been rushing towards that Mind Domain for a while, and Ilunabar's take on it has already been shown to be based on information collection and planning, that kinda closes the window for any possible plan to resurrect Arguis' domain, in my opinon.

Hey, that would be neat. It could work better than the Savannah for Amy's style. Plus ogres are pretty much endgame in Lif's short-lived world takeover (I believe?).

Though the Savannah civ could work too, but I personally think the area is more horde material than empire material.

There probably are horses there though, don't see why not.

It is important to keep in mind real life reference ≠ Galbar. Heck, Mesathalassa is geography wise South American inspired, but civ wise it has a Slavic, Greek and Indonesian inspiration (though Vascognes are inspired by French and Susa is by persia, as the name implies).

Edit: Point being, don't get attached to what it looks like Earth-side

@Muttonhawk What I find hilarious is that more and more might is being put into it, especially on Amartia's side, considering there is nothing left for him to do. And by hilarious I mean upsetting, but it can't be helped, such is the fate of battle collabs.
