Durin removed his helmet that was previously obscuring his face. After all, he was no longer in combat, head protection would most likely be unnecessary. Holding the headgear under his right arm, looked at the two very different women and sized them up.
One of them was obviously a fighter, and the other was the gnome, but then again, that crossbow she carried meant she was not unprepared for combat. The human girl had more weapons on her, an axe and a dagger. Both respectable weapons to have that are effective from a distance and extreme close quarters. However, the fact that she didn't have any armor would leave her mostly unprotected against bladed and piercing weapons. So she probably wasn't a close range fighter despite first appearances. Unless she had armor and was just unprepared for the skeleton attack, which was a likely situation. The gnome on the other hand had a hat that somehow avoided damage during the fight and a lot of bags on her. Knowing gnomes, they were probably full of weird things. The human girl had a mistrustful, almost paranoid look in her eyes that he recognized somewhat in himself. Together, they seemed like a safe bunch to follow for now. And as a bonus, neither of them were unpleasant to look at.
Durin nods at Tirarrian's order and follows behind her wordlessly.
@IcePezz@The Fated Fallen "Do not speak any more. I need to see to your wounds immediately. Ashara, prepare some salve for the guard captain!" From behind a closed storage door, a faint Yes Madam is heard. The front of the clinic was a clean, but small room consisting of a few shelves lined with simple, everyday medical products, closed off by a counter. Behind the counter is where Kayleth spent most of her day. However, the counter could easily be folded back to allow patients in of any race. Behind the counter was a doorless entryway into the clinic proper, a much larger room lined with 28 cots, 14 on each side, and in the center, a large stone table where her medical tools were kept. There wasn't anybody using the cots before the attack, so hopefully they would be able to handle maybe 60 injured people if Ashara could handle the stress. Currently the stone table had a pile of bandages stacked on top as Ashara had been instructed.
Kayleth folds back the counter and steps through, helping the injured captain through the entryway and onto a cot. "Do not worry, just try to relax here. If you went out now, you would only worsen your condition, and your men have enough to worry about as it is."

Name: Ricardo San-Miguel Race: Human Age: 24 Gender: Male Occupation: Garbageman
Appearance Skin Tone: Slightly Tan Hair: Short, buzz-cut brown-black hair on the top, with a bit of stubble due to forgetting to shave sometimes Eye Color: Brown Height: 5' 11" (180 cm) Weight: 223 lbs (101 kg) Build: Muscular Other: Has a flattened nose from it being broken several times in the past.
Combat Tier: Normal Fighting Style: Street Fighting Weapons & Gadgets: None Powers: None. Ricardo's just a strong guy who's good at fighting.
Bio Ricardo doesn't talk about himself much, at home, at work or in public. When at work he does his job as best as he can. When he gets off, Ricardo likes to wander the streets, challenging punks and drunks to street fights. Recently, he's gotten into a habit of picking fights with known martial artists, and warriors because it was getting too easy to beat up the punks, which has garnered him a limited amount of fame to those in the underground.
Appearance Skin Tone: No skin left. Plenty of bones. Hair: None Eye Color: Eyes have long since disappeared, only sickly green light from within remains Height: 5' 5" (165 cm) Weight: 30 lbs (13.6 kg) Build: Skeleton Other:
Combat Tier: Powered Fighting Style: Spellcasting Weapons & Gadgets: Ilse has her all important Phylactery, the source of her Undeath hidden away. Destroying this destroys her permanently, otherwise, she can just regenerate an injuries sustained (including complete disintegration) after waiting awhile. How long varies. It could be a few days, a few months or several years. Powers: Ilse is not actually a very good fighter at all. She is a skilled spellcaster, with over a century of experience, specializing in necromancy and lightning magic. She has these abilities as quick-term things can do it battle. She has other spells, but they would take far too long to be any use in combat or are not suited to fighting.
-Raise Dead: Ilse can reanimate dead bodies to do her bidding. If the body is fresh, it will come back as an empty shell, but with most of the powers it had during life. A slightly decayed corpse will return as a zombie, mindless, slow, but surprisingly durable and retaining an unexpected amount of strength to those unfamiliar with the undead. Skeletons will be skeletons, weak, but more agile than their fleshy brothers and nearly immune to thrusting weapons on account of there being nothing to pierce -Soul Sight: Ilse no longer has eyes, but sees with the magic keeping her together. In effect, she cannot be blinded by conventional means and can see spirits and the souls of creatures instead of the being itself. -Soul Consumption: Ilse can consume disembodied souls whole, integrating them into her being. Each soul increases her power, and over the past 50 or so years, Ilse has consumed many souls. -Life Drain: A weaker form of Soul Consumption and one of the few abilities she has that works well up close Ilse can drain the life force of living beings that she has grabbed with at least one of her hands. It doesn't heal her or power her up like consuming a soul would, but it makes the other guy weaker. -Soul Burn: As an emergency measure, Ilse can burn one of the souls she has collected to supercharge a spell. This process destroys the soul in question but works instantaneously, sacrificing long term power for short term gain. Undead raised witha Soul Burn are stronger, faster and more intelligent, carrying a degree of autonomy, but quickly degrade and crumble into dust after a couple minutes. -Arcane Blast: A quick, weak blast of magical energy -Lightning Bolt: Ilse fires a bolt of lightning magic from her hand. It hurts like a motherfucker. -Ball Lightning: Ilse can create a ball of lightning that travels along the ground. When it bumps into something, it explodes. -Lightning Burst: Electricty explodes in a 10 meter radius centered on Ilse's body. A good way to get fighter types away. -Lightning Whip: Ilse creates a length of lightning magic roughly 2 meters long that she can use as a melee weapon if she needs one. -Call Lightning: Ilse calls upon nature to create natural lightning that can strike anywhere she dictates within 100 meters of herself. It takes awhile to set up, but is her strongest offensive ability. (3 posts of undisturbed prep time) However, whether she hits or misses, she only gets one shot in a battle unless it's particularly storm. Furthermore, in stormy conditions it takes less time to set up, since lightning is already everywhere. (1 post prep) In cloudless conditions it takes even longer to build up (5 posts).
Bio: Ilse was born the daughter of a scholar and from an early age studied magic and its effects on the world. As the years went on she eventually became a renowned sorceress by her own merits. However as her skills grew, so did her lust for power. Recognizing the rapid aging of her body, Ilse studied the forbidden art of necromancy and learned of how she can acquire a form of immortality through Lichdom. Since becoming undead, Ilse has spent mosst of her unlife learning more about magic and boosting her own power through the consumption of souls.
@IcePezz My highschool's american football team was notoriously bad. Every other team we had, volleyball, tennis, swimming, band, orchestra, etc was great. They all could compete at a decently high level and win. Football? No. We always lost super hard. It was embarassing.
I used to do this kind of stuff and could go for some more. I've been lurking around this area of the site for the past couple of days so I think I have a decent grasp on how things go about here. Sign me up.
@The Fated Fallen In the US, high schools have this thing towards the beginning of the year called Homecoming. I don't know why, but the first game of American Football is a minor celebration in high schools. And they didn't really care about the vote. They just rigged it because they could.
