At first glance, Theria may look too young to be the assistant manager at Umbra Rose Condos, being only 23 years old, but she has lived here all the time so she knows every nook and cranny of each building. Her hair is made of eight different green tree pythons, each one with their own personality and quirks, but all of them with a vivid green color. She has olive skin and green emerald eyes, almost always behind a pair of large round glasses.
She is often seen dressed in cute dresses, usually cream or lavender, but will use a suit if necessary. If she needs to hide the snakes on her head, it is usually by using a beanie, though she prefers not to have anything on top of her snakes.
Race: Gorgon
Racial Traits: Most famous trait of a gorgon might be their petrifying stare. Anyone that looks directly at her eyes is almost instantly petrified. In the Umbra Rose Condos, every single Gorgon is given a pair of protective glasses that allow them to have face to face conversations with other residents, but they are also given de-petrifying potions in case accidents happen.
The second most famous trait might be their impressive hair that is constantly shifting… mostly because it’s actually composed of snakes. In Theria’s case, her hair is composed of eight different snakes, each one with their own personality. They are all green tree pythons and are all very gentle… except one.
The third trait is their lower bodies. Gorgons have the lower body of a snake and can silently slither if they so wish.
Requirements: Gorgon Stare protective glasses, a small supply of de-petrification potions, UV lamps, access to small insects or mammals to keep their "hair" fed.
Personality: Theria is very friendly and warm-hearted, and will always try her best to help anyone in need. She is, however, extremely clumsy, which often leads to her glasses falling off and accidentally petrifying residents… or mostly the receptionist, Max.
She is very much aware of her clumsiness though, so she always carries with her de-petrification potions and will immediately apply said potion and apologize profusely once the potion has taken effect.
She is slightly introverted and enjoys conversing mostly with the snakes on her head. She named each one according to their personality and quirks and will often just start talking with them and ignore the world around her.
Due to her age and inexperience, she sometimes feels out of place, but is always determined to prove herself to be the best assistant manager that ever existed, and one day, be the manager herself.
She, and most of her snakes, are also huge nerds and are particularly in love with the new sensation travelling the internet... V-Tubers. Both her and her snakes each have a favorite, which can sometimes cause a peacefull argument between everyone.
Background: Theria has always lived in Umbra Rose Condos, ever since she came out of her egg. Her mother, a Gorgon that fell in love with a human, left her egg at the door steps of the Condo while she escaped to a different city. Theria was raised by the manager, the Gargoyle Arborox, that was completely immune to her petrifying stare. Arborox took care of Theria as if she was his own child and taught her many things about the condominium, the residents, and the intricacies of management. Theria was fascinated with everything, and, when the time came, she immediately applied to the assistant manager position. Luckily, no one else applied, though she suspected that Arborox might have done something about that, and she got the job.
Now she spends her times doing what is needed of her, especially now since Arborox has now decided to take a leave of absence for a trip to Paris to meet with family.
Building, Floor, and room: 2-202. Room description: Her appartment is very simple and quaint. She has a small television in her living room that usually also serves as a dining room. The kitchen, separated only by a single balcony, is very simple, with only a small stove, a fridge and a microwave.
She has a guest room always prepared in case any resident is having issues with their own apartment, but her room is always off-limits as her room is filled with everything Japan, Anime, and most importantly, VTuber merch. She has a large round bed with an UV light right above it for when she needs an extra bit of light and a small desk where she can plop her laptop and work.

I've read everything and you guys are crazy. Everyone that posted their characters so far has been accepted. I'm still planning on starting this weekend, probably Sunday but earlier if I find the time.
Still waiting on that elusive gorgon though. ^^
I can't believe I forgot to post my own character XD. Will be posting it later today most likely.
Hey everyone. Just a heads-up that I'm currently battling a cold and a headache. I'll read all messages once I feel better. I'm planning to start this on Sunday.
@Dragonydas Are you going to go through any sort of approval/declining process for character sheets? Should we post them here in the OOC first or go ahead and plop them into the character tab straight away?
Yeah. post it here. If I give a thumbs up you can then plop it in the characters page
Monsters... Mythical beasts and creatures with incredible powers. They used to roam the world, hunting humans for their own pleasure or entertainment. It has been many years since we have had eyes on a monster. Some say that heroes brought them to extinction. Others claim that they just found another world and vanished to it. Not me though. I know they are still around, pretending to be humans. No worries though, we'll find them... sooner or later... - Commander Charles G. Vector, Leader of the Hero Association
From a very long time, monsters have been living among humans in various monster communities, hidden from view by magical abilities. Only humans that are completely trusted by the monsters know of their locations, and even then, they are usually not allowed inside their living area.
This is the Umbra Rose Condo, a closed off apartment complex with tight security. Residents hardly ever leave the safety of the gates, and when they do, it's not for long. Magical spells are in place to prevent humans from knowing what happens inside and who the residents of this place truly are... Monsters
Complex The complex is composed of three buildings with 5 floors each and 6 rooms in each floor, except for building 1 which has 7 rooms in each floor.
The first building is where the reception is and all visitors and residents must pass through this building to get to the other ones or exit the complex. This building is also where all mail and deliveries are taken to. the inhabitants of this building are mostly humanoid, as in the event of a raid, they are the ones that can better pretend to be human. The second and third building houses the more non-humanoid races.
Each room is prepared specifically for each person that occupies it. Mermaids for example, get a room that is mostly underwater, with a dry space to accomodate visitors. Each room is also as big as it needs to be, as magic makes the room bigger on the inside compared to the outside.
Amenities As for amenities, all buildings contain a restaurant and a bar that work 24/7. The restaurant offers meals that are made in accordance with the dietery needs of each race.
The second building, contains a small clinic that can provide medical aid to any inhabitant of the complex. Within this building there is also a room called the tranquility room. When a monster is feeling like they need to unleash their powers, they come to this room and use it to clear their minds, mostly by attacking illusions or destroying furniture.
The third building has a small gym with underground pool as well as a cinema, theater and a sports arena. There are also classrooms in this building. Here the monsters can learn human languages or skills, such as driving for example.
Barrier The entire complex is surrounded my a magical field that prevents the humans outside from understanding what is happening on the inside by masking what they see and hear. Anyone looking around will mostly see normal humans walking around while also only being able to hear muffled conversation.
Extras In case the monsters need to leave the complex, they are offered a bracelet that, for a maximum of 4 hours, can make them assume a human form. In case the power is spent, a silent alarm alerts the complex, and a rescue team is quickly assembled so the monsters only need to hide for a short time before rescue gets to them.
The complex also offers items that help monsters on their day. An extremely powerfull sunscreen for vampires... Antidotes and potions to help with accidental poisonings or petrifications... If there's anything that the residents need, the complex will try to fulfill. ---------------------------------------------------------------------
