Zephyr had been quiet ever since he came upon the group, mostly because he was scared all he would do is scream if he tried to say anything. He had his sword out, ready for a last stand. But through either luck or very elaborate planning, a man who was apparently the magic master they were searching for came to their rescue. Zephyr really didn't know what to say, so he just stayed silent, sheathed his sword, and followed everyone else.
Name: Zephyr Tremblett
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Appearance:

Talent: Cold/Ice

Backstory: Zephyr's mind has two modes, utterly obsessed and totally uninterested. It explained a lot about how he did so well in his martial arts classes, yet so poorly in his school classes. When his mind was turned on there was almost nothing he couldn't do. One of the things he had always been interested in was magic, and luckily for him there was apparently a master of magic hidden in the forest just waiting for apprentices. Once zephyr set his mind to it he packed his things and off he went.

Magic Color and Meaning: Orange. Passionate

Primary Source of Magic: It begins in his heart and flows most easily to his hands. It works best when being used to do something Zephyr really cares about.

Other: He brought with him about a days worth of food, a sleeping bag, some money, and his katana which he got from his martial arts classes.
Hey, are characters still being accepted for this? I saw the int check then realized that the last time it was posted in was 2 weeks ago. Anyways, I'll just leave the character I made here if I'm allowed in. Looking at the IC seems everyone just got to the castle, so I figure I could jump in there easy enough

"As much as I would love to ride a flying wolf in to battle," Jason began, "can we really be sure that we'll be able to control them. You don't happen to have some magic potion or something that would make them more likely to cooperate, do you Diego?" Jason had really hoped they could get to the river and get their magic before more trouble arose, but of course that wasn't the case. That would have been too convenient, in all honesty Jason probably would have left the others behind. He hasn't made a connection with them yet, he barely knew their names. But everyone else seemed intent on going back to help, and he wasn't about to just go off on his own.
Well now we seem to be posting again, so it's all good. Let's go get us some magic :D
Jason listened to the queen and was amazed at what he heard. Magic? Real, bona fide magic? This was incredible, "so you're saying by going in this river we can use magic? What are we waiting around for, we should be going right now." Jason stopped leaning on the tree with new vigor in his step. His life had always been so boring, but now he was in a new place, new people, and he was going to be able to do magic. Some of the others may not be happy with the circumstances they were in but Jason was loving it. He never had the best relationship with his parents, he didn't really have any friends, and he was recently let go from his job. His life before was a crumbling mess, but now he had a fresh start and he was going to use it to the fullest.
People don't let this die, it's just about to get good I can tell. I've been busy all weekend but I will make a post later today. Unite with me and together we can keep this from dying before it even got a chance to live
Jason shook Diego's hand, "Australia huh? Interesting, never met someone from there before." Jason disregarded how unsure he sounded about that, instead focusing on the makeshift ramp that they had to descend to make it to the forest. He didn't bother trying to balance and walk down carefully, instead he just ran down, tripping slightly as he reached ground but making it just fine. Jason made it just in time to see the guy poof away, looking in the bags he saw some clothes, which reminded him he had been in his pajamas this whole time. He looked in the bags and found some clothes that fit, and they weren't half bad looking either. With seemingly everyone down the ramp, Habb introduced himself. "Well, I'm Jason, and I think we should stick together, at the very least until we know more about what's going on." Jason didn't want to sit in case something happened and they had to move quick, but he did lean against a tree to at least try and relax.
Can we say Jason was up the chimney before Nikolai was up? I really don't wanna have to think of a new post right now haha
Over the next few minutes Jason started to have the horrible realization that this was not a dream. Everyone else was far too fleshed out, they were actual people, not just archetypes. He touched the sharp end of a sword and it hurt, you weren't supposed to be able to get hurt in dreams. Jason was only vaguely aware of what was going on around him, that everyone was exiting via climbing the chimney. He took some deep breaths to center himself and not lose his cool. He figured his best option would be to just stay safe and ride this out until....whatever it was the brought him here placed him back home.

Moving himself to the chimney, he grabbed a sword and it's sheath off a dead body and moved it to his waist. In his martial arts classes they used a Bo Staff and Nunchucks sometimes, but never swords. Still, Jason hoped the skills would carry over and he would, at the very least, be mediocre at swordplay. Jason was one of the last people up the chimney, grabbing someone's hand who was helping everyone out. "Thanks man, I'm Jason by the way, from Canada, you?" He figured he'd speak normally now that he knew this wasn't some strange dream. If they were going to get out of this, they'd at the very least have to get to know each other.
