If anyone wants to talk to Jon near the E Rank dorms go ahead, just know that it'll be a few hours at least before I can reply again.
Part of John just wanted to walk onto Combat Training area to have a match himself. But he resisted the urge not just because he lacked an opponent, but also because if he fought at least one Ex-Beast would get hurt needlessly. Instead he left the gym and decided to spend dome time on the final touches of decorating his dorm room.
He eventually arrived at the Rank E dorm building, the dorm that the farthest away from the campus's other facilities. Despite the fact that this was John's third year at AcadeMMO he had so far refused to perform any Special Assignments, and as such he not only was still the lowest rank but had to repeat the second year.
Seeing as he had nothing better to do at the moment John had been watching the match, and what he saw changed his opinions. _Wow, even Fused I doubt I would be able to defeat either of them. Looks like I underestimated the Martial Classes."_ Seeing as both fighters were still in the gym, he rushed down the steps wanting to congratulate them on a great match. "You two were really impressive out there,especially you." That last part was directed to the female Knight, not that he thought her opponent had fought poorly.

When the entrance ceremony was over, John wandered around the campus a bit. As for he was concerned he had a pretty good break. Thanks to all the books his parents had gotten him, he easily completed his homework to list at least ten potential Ex-Beasts he wanted to make a contract with, and write five pages detailing the characteristics of each creature and his reasons for choosing it. Of course he picked mostly unknown Ex-Beasts instead of the common ones.
He also managed to increase his skills with the Fuse Spell. After he was done with that he mostly lazed around. His mind returned to the present, this year even though he didn't want to hurt any Ex-Beasts if he could, he would have to accept more Special Assignments if he wanted to pass second grade instead of repeating it again.
As he wandered around he noticed two Martial Arts students talking with each other. Unlike most Magi he didn't think of the more direct combat related students as fodder. The way he saw it thanks to Fusion Summoners were sort of in between Magi and Martial Artists.

While Danny listened to Leona's explanation, he didn't interfere when Ebony basically demanded to be sent back. Not only because she actually had some good points but also because he had non intention of making her angry at him. However after it seemed that the girl had been calmed down he decided to make his request."Ehm Leona, since we're going to in this world for at least a while, I was wondering if I could have a pen and some papers. I might be able to use them to make maps, which could help us during our journey."
Elecmon meanwhile decided to position himself between Leona and Ebony in order to prevent the latter from doing something stupid like attacking, and thus turn this entire village against their group.
