Kiss players was a Japanese transformers cartoon as well and the cartoon where the picture you choose came from was dubbed and brought to America as Robots in disguise, which makes it weird that the 2015 cartoon was also called that.

Also while that was the first cartoon that had Megatron as a dragon from the start we've had a dragon as his altmode before.



Though that was technically beast wars' Megatron's upgraded form meaning that in other shows he would be calling himself Galvatron

While they are certainly odd I think these ideas have some merit, but then again I was a Beast Wars fan. My favorite of the two plots would be have to be the second one
