Flirting with Peter in class was fun, poking and prodding at each other; finding excuses to run her fingers along his back or the exposed skin of his arm. Winking and biting her lip uncontrollably. It wasn’t a surprise that she was even more playful than normal. She had the best boyfriend any girl could ever ask for. Class was more exciting having Peter and Harry in it. The three worked together to bust out the chemical project and knew the three of them were going to walk away with amazing grades.

Sitting outside was nice and when Peter took her hand, she interlaced her fingers with his; not caring those who saw but the glares from Flash made her return them. He didn’t have the right to say anything and he should consider himself blessed that he could even view the two together. The talking was cut off by Peter using Harry’s phone to hear about some crazy guy at the ballpark. When Peter excused himself to use the rest room and gave her a wink, she returned it with a playful wink before blowing him a kiss as he ran off.

Harry’s reaction surprised her and she tried to argue with him but he begged her to join him, it would be his first time seeing Spider-Man in person and he wanted to go. Hesitant, she finally agreed and gathered up her things and followed him to his car; “Wow, nice car!” Lexi said, her voice filled with surprise as he pulled the door open for her and she climbed in as he pulled the door down to shut it. Climbing into the driver’s seat the two were off towards the stadium. Hopefully Peter didn’t mind more in the audience. “Just promise me that we’ll stay back. We can see things from a distance; if we go inside we’ll just get in the way, trust me when I say this; if Spider-Man has the chance he puts on a show, if we stay in the bleachers area we’ll see everything.”

The arrival of the boys was exciting. Lexi gave them a big grin as they arrived inside and was happy to see that Peter made an effort to sit next to her. Upon his arrival to the seat, she placed her hand gently on his knee with a soft smile, a smile only for Peter. That was until Harry pulled her attention to him and asked her questions about Spider-Man. Of course, like any giggling girl fan would, she answered them to the best of her abilities but unlike any girl dating Spider-Man, she left out a lot of information people would love to know but shouldn’t know.

“I met Spider-Man because of, ironically a fire, I was the last to get out of the building and he pulled me out before returning to save a young man from the fire. Everyone was out and everyone was safe. That’s when I asked him to swing by and do the interview. I asked him a few questions and he flew off. It’s important to keep them brief so they’re short-lived answers which made it nice to talk to him. Then when the Green Goblin character showed and demanded Spider-Man and I show up; he had my parents I couldn’t just sit back and do nothing. So I meant him then too, not only did he protect me and my family but all the students as well and that was amazing. A photo in the paper where Spider-Man was bringing me down from the building seemed to be misleading to the Green Goblin and he assumed something was going on between us. What he didn’t know was that night, before everything happened, I had expressed my feelings to Peter.” With that she gave him a bright smile and turned to Peter before her eyes went wide, she couldn’t keep herself from asking even though she already knew what happened. “What happened?”

The night went by rather simply for Lexi, a quick shower and changing into pajamas, she fell asleep to the sweet sounds of the night echoing in through her open window. Her mind replayed the past few nights, her discovery of who Spider-Man was and his willing-ness to protect her with his life, the new boyfriend she gained and the return of their old mutual friend. It was a good weekend despite Rick Archer going crazy.

The next morning rolled around too fast for Lexi’s liking and due to her ruined car, she had to take the bus to school. Her mind was elsewhere as she looked out the window onto the passing city. Her mind was boggled with happy thoughts, disappointed that she didn’t have a class with Peter until third period she let out a long disappointed sigh. Maybe they’d have the class with Harry, it was chemistry and the three could probably get out early enough to wakl somewhere for lunch.

Her first class was boring, as expected and so was the second and like always; Lexi was the first one into chemistry; something she always hurried to in order to save Peter and her the best table. A table in the corner where they eould talk and goof off while still getting their work done. Placing her stuff down she tugged at the sun dress she had chosen to wear today, a soft yellow color that stopped at her knees before sitting down. Running her hands through her straight black hair she turned her blue gaze to the door to see Peter enter with Harry at his side. She waved at them brightly and flagged them over, yay they had a class together!

The passion, the embrace, the fire! It was nothing like Lexi had ever felt before. Electricity running through her body, her mind a blur, her heart pounding like a drum, her hands leaving not a single section of his back untouched with her lightly pressed in nails oh it was accelerating; nothing that she had ever felt before!!!

Slowly he began to pull away but his words, well they made sense. “I know my dear.” She said softly as she rose up from the bed. She leaned up against his chest, her hand dancing up it and to his neck before going through his hair. “But I think it’s a good idea if you leave from the front door so my parents don’t think you’re trying to get fresh with me.” Giving him a small nod she stood up and turned to her mirror, flattening her hair before he grabbed his backpack and she put her hand in his.

“Mom, Dad, Peter’s leaving.” The echoes of cheerful good byes echoed through the house as he left. Leading him outside, she walked him down the footpath and to the street. Wrapping her arms around his neck one last time she rested her forehead against his with a cheeky grin. “Go show those bad guys that this is your city and they should know better than to think they can get away with anything while Spider-Man is around.” She gave him one more good kiss before turning back around and walking to her house, her hips swaying a bit more than normal before she got her door she turned around, blowing him a kiss and giving him a wink before going inside. Oh yes, she had the best and bravest boyfriend in the world!
