Poor Lexi couldn’t help but cry; it was a contradiction of massive proportions. If he could help save Harry that was one thing but if they used the DNA they’d get from the blood sample to figure out it was Peter Parker, nothing but bad things would come from it. But… it wasn’t her decision to make. Her gaze opened, teary and sad as she looked up at Peter when he placed his hands on her cheeks. A sniffle left her nose of sadness and when he said that he wouldn’t let people experiment on him or take and/or hurt her, giving that ever-cheeky Peter Parker guarantee she gave him a small closed mouth smile across her full lips.

When he wrapped his arms around her, she returned it; laying her head gently onto his shoulder. He was such a tough guy, being Spider-Man and all. It’s not fair he has to go through everything alone. If she could change something, anything it wouldn’t be who he was, what he did or that he got his powers; she would change it so he wouldn’t have to do everything alone. Sure that would put someone else in just as much danger but it would lessen the chance of him or the other person getting hurt. Sometimes teamwork could be the best thing and if she could help, she would and in any way possible. Even if it means climbing onto another glider.

The night was quiet and kind of sad, the exchanges between Peter and Lexi questioning whether they should tell Aunt May about the situation with Harry. Peter was nice enough to walk her home and she urged him to call Mister Osborne tomorrow before he left for school and ask how he could meet with the Doctor. After that and a small make out session in front of her house (come on, sadness + boyfriend + girlfriend can = passion, do the math; shut up it’s real math) she went inside knowing he was probably going to patrol the streets tonight, poor suckers that were out causing trouble would pick a night when Spider-Man probably had a lot of anger to get out.
Friday rolled around and Lexi was in her room getting ready. When Peter called Mister Osborne, he was invited to a dinner party in honor of two things, The Osborne’s return to New York and the visiting of Doctor Octavius. Of course Peter was to bring a guest and who does he ask? No not Aunt May, though that would be cute; he invited Lexi and since she could drive but he couldn’t, she was taking her mother’s Jeep once again to go to the party. There would be valet parking, a full three course meal with menu choices and a live band with a dance floor. The party invitation that Peter was sent said the music would range from swing, to classic rock, to salsa, to tango, to waltz, to rap and of course, slow dance songs. These made Lexi laugh because she knew how to swing, salsa, tango, waltz and of course, slow dance. Between her need to be social and her want to control her clumsiness, she found that dancing lessons and karate (which she’s kicking butt [literally] in by the way) help improve her balance and make friends along the way. Peter, however, didn’t dance but she was curious to see if he would be able to follow her lead or predict her actions because of this new spidey-sense of his.

It wasn’t long before she hugged her parents good bye and she left the house in her dress. Arriving at Peter’s house was nice, especially knowing that he would want to take pictures, something she wasn’t against as long as he was in a few of them. Surely he would be running around with his camera wanting to take photos of everything and everyone. Pulling down the visor, she checked her makeup and pulled her down hair to the front, she had curled it this time. Smiling to herself looking at her glossy pink lips, she closed the visor and opened the door to the jeep climbing out. Up the small footpath she went and up the stairs to the door where she gave a knock and waited.

“Coming! Coming!” Aunt May called out as the old woman hurried to the door. Pulling it open, her jaw dropped seeing Lexi in her Navy blue dress with a red sash around her upper waist. An elegant diamond bracelet was around her wrist and matching earrings in her ears. Her nails painted a soft white and her shoes were red to match the sash. “You look radiant!” The old lady said with a squeal in her voice as she let Lexi inside.

“Well I thought I’d pay tribute to Spider-Man by wearing his colors with the blue and red.” Lexi said with a twinkle in her eyes and a giggle in her voice as she stepped inside.

“Oh where is that boy. Probably sleeping like the bear he is!”

“I should have texted him saying I was on my way over; that might have helped get the bear moving and out of bed this Saturday evening.” The clock struck 5:30pm and even though the event started at 6pm, Lexi always made it a habit of being early to events.

“I’ll go get him.” Aunt May said reassuringly as she started up the stairs towards Peter’s room.
Lexi was nodding along with what Peter was saying before Harry dropped a very unexpected bombshell on the couple. Her jaw dropped open in surprise and she jumped to her feet dropping the book onto the coffee table, the thud echoing throughout the silent house before Harry began to speak again. The idea of Doctor Octavius working on finding something within Spider-Man’s (Peter’s) blood to cure Harry’s disease made her stomach turn. She didn’t like the idea of someone having Peter’s blood… but she didn’t like the idea of Harry dying either.

“Kinda I mean, he just shows up.” She said softly, her gaze moving to Peter as the two men began to talk. She watched Peter pace back and forth; he was probably weighing his options much like she was. The death of their friend or the discovery of Spider-Man… it was an uncomfortable stomach turning situation and when Peter said that he would tell Spider-Man the next time he got the chance, her knotted stomach grew tighter, oh this wasn’t good. Placing her hand over her mouth she swallowed back a sob as Harry left the house.

Slowly, she walked over to Peter and gave a small sigh as she let her hand fall off of her face and land on her lap. She than reached over and took Peter’s large hands in hers, her eyes were watering due to the situation at hand but she took a deep breath and began to speak. “Peter,” She began softly, “I think you should talk to Mister Osborne about doing a meeting with Doctor Octavius. Don’t mention to Mister Osborne that you know of this, but talk to the Doctor about it. Find out exactly what he intends on doing with your blood.” She gave Peter’s hands a squeeze, “I know you want to do what’s right, especially when it comes to helping Harry but you have to keep in mind the risk you’d be taking. If Doctor Octavius gives any, any sort of sign that he might use your blood for something other than helping Harry; you can’t do it.” She took in a deep breath before continuing. “To many people rely on Spider-Man and not only will Aunt May and I be at risk if anyone discovers that you’re you but you’d put yourself at risk. And if Harry does survive he’ll be at risk because he’s your friend.” Her eyes went wide. “Oh my god if they caught you, Spider-Man or Peter, and started doing experiments on you…” Her eyes watered again, her face cringing and her right hand left his covering her mouth to keep herself from sobbing at the thought of Peter getting tortured for genetic experiments. Hopefully she got her point across even though she had small streams of tears going down her face. This… this was a lot in one day.
Lexi liked to think she was a nice girl, very nice in fact. She could put up with a lot of stuff but the continuous interruption between her and Peter’s romantic moments was just getting out of hand. The temptation to say ‘lock him out’ was great as her deep blue eyes stared up at her boyfriend, her fingers working their way back up his back and into his hair. Her fingers tightened in the locks as she gave his hair a small pull; oh she loved playing with his hair!

When he spoke about Harry being just as worse as Aunt May she nodded, her small face leaning into Peter’s large hand, a gentle smile curling her full lips as he leaned down and kissed her. But when he bit onto her lip, a small quiet moan left her. AAAHHH it was painful having him get up and walk away. Grrr world! She lectured as she quickly sat up, pushing down her black hair which was now puffy and crazy thanks to the couch. Reaching forward she grabbed a textbook from her bag, and flipped to open, throwing herself against the back of the chair, she propped her long legs up on the coffee table and began to skim over her upside down math book. SHIT! With that she flipped it right-side up as the boys entered the living room.

Her gaze moved up to Harry as he said he needed to talk to Spider-Man, “Harry we discussed this in the car, if you want to ask Spider-Man question, you can just give them to me and I’ll squeeze it in the next time I see him. We have to respect his privacy.”
    ((Double post, sorry))
When he called her perfect, her face turned red in a blush. That was something she’d never get used to; Peter was just full of flattery and thought so highly of her, it was more than she had ever gotten from any other guy she had dated. Why oh why did she wait so long to tell Peter she had feelings for him?! Everything just felt so right that she felt beyond the point of foolish. But all foolishness aside, they were together now and in her mind, that’s really all that matters.

At his headshake she laughed before gasping as he scooped her up holding onto her upper thighs, she wrapped her legs around his midsection and returned the enveloped kiss, her nails gently digging into his back on her right hand while her lefts gripped lightly into his hair, giving it a small pull as she did so, but not enough to break the kiss. Lexi’s heart was pounding, her thoughts were blurry and everything about this just seemed right. Her legs tightened around him to keep her close as she pulled back from the kiss. “Oh no Mister Parker… please don’t…” She looked around before looking back at him, a smirk on her face and her blue eyes twinkling with mischief. “throw me onto the couch and climb on top of me.” With that she bit her lower lip in a teasing playful fashion and as she wanted, he dropped her onto the couch and climbed on top of her.

Leaning up, she pulled him down onto her with her arms around his neck, one long jean covered leg wrapped itself around a single leg of his as she bit down lightly on his bottom lip before pushing her lips against his and sliding her tongue into his mouth. Her hands scratched ever-so-gently into his back as she tongue wrestled him. Oh this was amazing, this was such a moment. Her heart was pound even harder, her head was spinning and it was so intoxicating that she hoped nothing would interrupt this moment.

“Peter… Peter are you home?” A male’s voice echoed through the opening door. Great, Harry came over; didn’t call, text or even knock. Seriously.
