"It turned out alright." Sharon said with a laugh as she pulled out a mixing bowl and an old hand held mixer. "Everything fell into place yesterday as I started putting things where I wanted them and I just couldn't stop." She felt good designing her place. It was simple and calm but welcoming at the same time and that's what she wanted the most. Especially if she could welcome Steve over more and more.

She began to work on the dough as she added the ingredients in from the memorized recipe in her head. "Not a bad day at all. I did spend it with this really nice guy who seems to be a gentleman in a world full of jerks so I'd have to say the day just continued to get better and better. You know what he did for me? He carried a bag of apples up the stairs. Those are so heavy I can't imagine how his back is feeling but I'm very grateful." Her cheeky playful ways were showing again as she started the mixer making the crust for the pie. "Just don't pull a me and touch the oven while it's hot. I've burnt myself numerous times and blame it on my blonde hair but at least I've learned." Okay maybe that wasn't completely true. She did burn herself on the oven once but as Agent 13, she had dealt with a lot of fires and explosions that had her burned on multiple ocassions. So it wasn't actually a lie... Right?

"So the pie will take about two hours to cook and a half hour to cool. Is there anything you want to do? Do I need to let you leave at all?" Yes this was his chance to run away if he wanted to. Though she hoped and prayed he didn't.
Had Sharon been with anyone but Steve, she probably would have jumped; ready to kick the person’s butt who yelled at them. Come on, with her job can you blame her for being on edge? No no you can’t. The old woman behind the counter seemed very excited to see Steve and proceeded to hold a conversation with him. Sharon’s head moved back and forth watching the two talk, just smiling the whole time. She liked a guy who could be social and since he had difficulty talking to her yesterday, she wasn’t sure exactly how social he was.

She couldn’t imagine Steve being a super hero but at the same time, she could. It’s too bad S.H.I.E.L.D. wanting him to be watched, maybe they were trying to determine if he would make a good addition to the business. If she had her say, he would be hired in a heartbeat, in her department, working with her, and her only. Okay so many she was being a bit greedy but can you blame her? When Steve said he had rotten food in his friend her head turned to look up at him. Geeze how long does his job have him gone?

“A pleasure to meet you Miss Ramero.” Sharon said lightly as she gave the woman a bright happy smile. She hadn’t been this happy in a while and held a small conversation with the woman and told her thank you for the apples. Soon they were on the back of his bike and taking the short drive back to the apartment complex.

Again he offered her his hand as she climbed on the bike and she took it even though it wasn’t needed. Sliding her fingers into his the two started up the stairs keeping the conversation light and fun until they reached her door. Reaching into her small purse she pulled out her keys and stuck it into the door. “It looks a bit better than yesterday if I do say so myself.” She said with a small laugh as she unlocked the door and stepped inside, slipping her shoes off. Her Apartment finally felt like an apartment to her and she let out a small sigh, placing her purse down on the end table near the wall. “Come on in, make yourself at home while I start making the dessert… if you want to stick around that is, I don’t want to take up too much of your time.”

With that she started into the kitchen and began pulling out the ingredients that she would need in order to make the dessert. “Or if you want,” She called out knowing he’d follow her into the kitchen to bring in the apples since she had let go of his hand. “You can help me by cutting up the apples.”
Sharon loved the idea of walking hand and hand with him and when he didn’t let her hand go, her heart pounded in her chest. Returning the tightness she slipped her fingers into his and the two ventured into the grocery store.

She kept the space between the two of them as minimal as possible. His cologne was soft and nice, inviting almost and even though he had a large amount of strength, he still held her hand like she was a delicate flower needing to be handled with the utmost care. How many women actually got treated like this? Much less in New York City, none; she was a, no, thee lucky one. “Yes produce alley.” She repeated with a smile, though she wasn’t all too excited that they had figured that out so quickly; she wouldn’t mind staring up at the signs feeling his presence next to her for however long it took.

Arriving at the stand she ignored the radio announcer. She didn’t like to think of Tony Stark since she knew the billionaire first hand. Flirty weirdo who knows ‘everything’. She’d much rather meet… “Living legend Captain America has been rumored to live in New York City of all places. Where? We don’t know, why? No clue either but what we do know is that he’s close to us, ever watchful to make sure we are taken care of. His pride of America is all inspiring and we can only hope that we can make America something he is proud to fight for.” A small smile moved across her lips, her actions had stopped as she listened to them talk about Captain America. She hoped that her dedication to her country would be enough to make him proud. Plus it was hard to believe he wouldn’t have his own island somewhere or a penthouse in the middle of down town NYC. He could be anywhere, live anywhere and be with anyone. Would he… would he ever been interested in talking with someone like her?

“Okay.” She said playfully, finally thinking of a reason not to let go of his hand. “Let’s see how strong you are single handed.” A small laugh left her as she reached up and pulled the bag from the little container. Sticking her fingers inside, she gave it a small flick, the air flying into it and spreading out the bag. Then she handed it to him and began to pick up the fresh red apples. “My family’s receipt has two. Sometimes sweet apples are used and sometimes sour apples are used. Considering I’m going to make it for someone sweet I think it only made sense to use sweet apples.” Her blue gaze flicked up to him as she placed an apple into the bag wondering if he’d catch on that she was talking about him.

Five apples into the bag she nodded. “That should do it!” Her bright voice rang around them as they started towards the checkout stand. The two older women in front of them where flipping through a gossip magazine and talking about Tony. “He’s so handsome!”, “Not as good looking as his father but he’s getting there.”, “At least he’s smart too.”, “I bet he’s got just as much of a charming personality as his father.”, “I wonder if he has a sweet side that no one gets to see, don’t most guys have that.”, “Well young women these days are attracted to arrogant men, it’s a gem to find a young men with manners these days much less a woman who’s looking for one with manners. That in itself is a mixture for happiness.” The two women nodded in agreement as they stepped forward purchasing their items, including the magazine with a large photo of Tony flashing that award winning smile.

Sharon couldn’t help but smile and gave Steve’s hand a small squeeze before she leaned into him resting her head gently against his shoulder. She couldn’t help it! What the women said made her happy, yes, she had a good, no great, guy with her and even if it was just for today and that ended everything; she was happy she had it.
It had been a long time since Sharon had been this happy and this content. The last time she remembered this happiness was visiting her aunt in the hospital. Her aunt just filled her head with stories from her experiences in life which was beautiful and inspiring and helped her get through a rough time in her life. Her aunt was a wonderful person and had an upbeat personality that helped Sharon find hers that she was showing now. If it wasn’t for her aunt, she would not be the person she was today; not at all. Thank you Aunt Peggy and bless your passed soul.

The walk to the bike was nice and the fact that he didn’t push her away was even more enjoyable. She fought back the urge to lay her head on his shoulder; she didn’t want to push anything since it was their first date… wait, would this be their only date? Or would they have more? Oh please oh please let there be more! The few glances she got seemed to be a mix of envious girls and couples who thought they were cute. Yes, they were cute together; she thought so too and there was no need for jealousy, she just happened to be with the best guy in New York City… okay maybe that would be something to be jealous over.

A small laugh escaped her as she took the helmet from Steve and strapped it onto her head once again. “Off we go!” She said in a cheery voice as she climbed onto the back of his bike and wrapped her small arms around his waist as they took off.

The trip to the grocery store near their apartment complex was a short one but a nice one none the less. She felt less awkward being close to him after the ferry ride so she was able to lean up comfortable against him as they rode but when they arrived she pulled his helmet off of her head and climbed off the bike, much less wobbly this time. And this time when she took his hand she was very hesitant on letting it go. Would he be okay with holding her hand through the grocery store or would that be awkward for him? Last time they had a reason to, they needed to not lose each other in the crowd but this time they didn’t have an excuse. She left her hand in his for a moment as she turned her gaze up to meet his. “Shall we?” Giving him the choice to let her hand go or not.
Sharon could feel his muscles tensing when she touched his bicep; holy mother of god this man was built like a brick house yet spoke as sweet and tender as a meek shy boy. What an interesting combination. Her mind was racing before it pulled to a halt. What if he was tensing because he didn’t like that she did it?! Her brain suddenly went into panic/embarrassment mode before he began to speak. The mode was shut off as quickly as it turned on when he stumbled over his words much like he had done yesterday in her living room. He really was like a new born horse learning how to walk and what was even more humorous is that he was acting like he had never been out with a woman before. Humorous and adorable.

The poor small girl was getting pushed around rather roughly today and she couldn’t roundhouse kick someone in the head or that would draw some very unnecessary looks and probably a large amount of questions from Steve on how she was able to do something like that. When one man hit her, she actually stumbled and turned in his direction to yell at him only to have Steve lecture him from over her shoulder. Surprise flew over her face as she slowly turned to look at Steve as he muttered ‘punk’ under his breath. It was amazing to have someone be a gentleman in this day and age, is was astounding to find someone so good looking but it was even more shocking to find someone who would actually stand up for what they believed was right. The surprised look was wiped away by a bright bigger-than-life smile as she laced her fingers in with his and gripped his bicep playfully. “I like you!”

With the fairy squished with people, Sharon and Steve were forced to stay close to each other but she was FAR from complaining. The scent of his cologne, the gentle feeling of his large rough hand holding her small one and the small conversations filled with laughter and joy, they could be on an empty fairy and she’d much prefer to be this close. As the fairy docked she came the realization that she might have to let go of his hand, and this was something she didn’t like the idea of until they reached his bike. When filing off of the fairy, she felt her position and even as the people fanned out to their own destinations, she kept her hand in his hand her other hand on his bicep not making any mention of the fact that the space cleared. Can you blame her? No, no you can’t.
Though she loved hanging onto Peter and was looking forward to spending the night with him if he could be talked into it. But she kept talking about the directions where he should go. When they finally got to where she had instructed him to go she dropped from his back and the two walked generally into the Central Park. The park was beautiful at night but it was silent, dead silent. “I swear I could have heard…”

“HA HA HA HA HA! SPIDER-MAN!!!” A voice shouted, it echoed around them but Catwoman’s attention was fixed direction head.

“There.” She said pointing at a tree.

The tree fizzled away before a figure stepped forward. Mysterio came into the sight of the two heroes. “Spider-Man! You don’t stand a chance this time. I have the best weapons at my disposal!”

Catwoman’s head turned to Spider-Man as she pointed in his direction. “When did he get out?”
It was adorable that he would jump in front of her to open a door; it meant a lot for her that he would do something like that for her. It was the old gentleman actions meant a lot in this day and age, she couldn’t be any happier that she was being out and about with that someone like that. A small sigh left her as she stepped past him and out into the breezy weather. She pulled her jacket together and zipped it up to protect herself from the wind around the little island. “He sounds like a nice guy and that’s very neat that you got to come up here after hours. I bet it looks amazing at night.”

A small smile moved across her lips as she blushed moving her face away from him. “I’m glad that I could be the first.” Following him towards the fairy talking about random things and laughing together. Could this afternoon get any better? “So I did think of some heavy lifting for you to do, it would require us to make a trip to the grocery store and you’d have to carry it all the way up the stairs to my apartment. Especially if you could carry it into the house; I mean it could be very heavy that if you left it at the door I couldn’t get it any further.” Her voice was innocent and playful as if she was begging for it.

Though an issue occurred as they started towards the fairy, the massive group that had joined on the ride there was loading up on the way back and in the rush for people to not miss the fairy, she kept finding someone stepping between her and Steve. It took a moment before someone moved out of the way and Sharon slipped into the small opening, taking her hands and placing one into his and the other one his bicep. “We keep getting suppurated. I hope that’s okay.” It wasn’t long before her small body started to get knocked around and she clung to Steve as they followed the group onto the fairy.
Her face flushed red when he repeated what she had ended her sentence with. A shiver moved through her as she admitted something she didn’t want to tell him and she bit her bottom lip out of nerves and turned her gaze from his in embarrassment. When he began to talk, her gaze flicked back to him as she let go of him. Hands still in his hair she let go of her bottom lip and returned his soft smile with one of her own.

“If you are to be a manly man than you should carry me.” She said with a twinkle in her eye as she moved around him jumping onto his back, with her new weight made her not even able to make Peter stumble. “Let’s go my dear wonderful boyfriend.” She leaned down and kissed his neck a few times before kissing his cheek as her arms wrapped around his neck and her legs did too.

As Peter started off with her on his back she hung on with a grin under her smack as she pulled down the mask over her mouth. That was until her head jerked unexpectedly to their left. “Peter.” She said quickly to him. “Go left. Something’s wrong. No screaming but just… laughing, maniacal laughing.” Her eyes squinted in the direction she was having Peter head towards. “I feel like I’ve heard it before…”
Sharon’s gaze moved towards Steve, raising an eyebrow in a curious manner when he said that his parents came by a boat to over the ocean instead of a plane. “Interesting that they would come by boat, classic.” She said with a smile as she looked back out, her eyebrow dropped as she placed her hands on the railing and leaned against it, overlooking the city. “It’s classic, I’d like to travel by boat one day.” A nod left her with a small smile formed across her full lips, closed lipped as she overlooked the city.

His whistled, she tried not to look at him as she felt his presence closer to her. She was tempted to lean against him, just to relax and take in his scent. But she couldn’t do that; he’d think she was weird right? A smile spread across her face showing her full straight white teeth as she overlooked the city. “I don’t blame you,” Catching that he was overlooking the view, she took a glance at him. “It really brings a lot of comfort and joy just from the view alone.” With that she looked back out over the city. “I can’t believe I’ve never been here before.”

They stayed up at the top for a while making small talk of laughs and smiles before they started back down the stairs, alone in the staircase was nice and she was tempted to stop and give an attempt to walk beside him but the steps were too tight, so she took the lead going down for the simple reason that he opened the door for her going down and she walked down. “How many times have you made this climb? Do you normally take people on their first times?” She asked in a cheesy fashion.
As he removed her mask, she blinked a few times, her eyes readjusting to the sudden change from her mask. That sapphire blue gaze of hers rose up to meet her boyfriend’s loving soft brown eyes. A smile moved across her full lips as he rested his large palm against her small cheek. Head dropped gently into his hand, her eyes closing as she felt the warmth of his hand through the fabric of his costume. God she loved this man.

Her eyes flickered open as he talked to her. Lexis’ face molded into one of understanding as she nodded against his hand. A smile curled across her full lips as she locked her gaze with her boyfriend’s once again. “And I expect you to remember who you are. You may see yourself as Spider-Man but I see you as Peter Parker, the man I love, respect, cherish and would love to spend the rest of my life with.” A nod left her as she ran her fingers through this thick crazy brown hair. “If Spider-Man were to not return, as long as I have Peter Parker I will always be happy. Spider-Man is always a nice touch though.” She said in a cheeky playful manner, making the point that she agreed with what he said but that she felt the same way; though she wanted to make it perfectly clear that she enjoyed him as Spider-Man too.
