Walking up the stairs, she felt herself being watched thanks to her new senses; so as you can imagine she swayed her hips a little more knowing her boyfriend was watching before getting upstairs. Going into his room she placed her bag gently beside his desk before turning around and walking out shutting the door quietly behind her. Her sharp hearing picked up the soft breathing of Aunt May who sounded as though she was fast asleep. A smile moved across her face; knowing the woman was safe and sound was a relief.

Coming softly down the stairs she rounded the corner and found Peter leaning against the couch. Lexi landed herself against the door frame looking at him. He looked exhausted, but he still looked handsome. He had been through so much and came out so strong; stronger than she could have ever imagined. There was a lot of inner turmoil going one but he was opening up to her, and that’s what was going to help him get over it. A soft smile moved across her full soft pink lips as she walked over to him. Slipping herself in front of him, she gently wrapped her arms around his neck and leaned her small toned body into hers. Her hands gently traveled up into his thick messy brown hair as she rested her forehead gently against his. “I love you Peter Parker…” She said softly, after everything they had gone through tonight, if they were to die tomorrow; she wanted him to know that.
His head jerked back in surprise when she invited him out to breakfast. Well that… that was new. The Doctor even looked over his shoulder, as if he was expecting her to talk to someone other than him. Without anyone else being behind him, he could only guess that she was referring to him. A soft smile moved across his fine lips showing his bright white teeth in response to her kindness; “I’d love to.”

The smells of earth were always peaceful and relaxing, even in the city. Taking in a deep breath he let out a small sigh before turning his sharp blue gaze to the girl he was walking with. It did take him a little bit before he could talk to her, not because he was shy or anything but because he was trying to see what he could figure out about her before she started talking.

“I’m the Doctor, what’s your name?” It wasn’t common that he had someone to talk to unless he had a companion with him. But that… that was a long time ago. Would it hurt to try to find someone to join him on his travels? Probably not but it’s not exactly something that one can just bring up in a conversation and as much as he’d enjoy the company, he really didn’t want her to get hurt.
The Doctor tilted his head to one side, keeping that goofy-yet-charming grin on his face hoping that he wouldn’t have to follow her. That could end up being very awkward and it was always easier just to walk up to someone and start talking to them. He was never really scared of death and that, in itself, was enough to make him somewhat reckless but a lot of fun.

When she said yes his face brightened and his smile expanded showing his bright white teeth across his fine lips as he fell into step with her. “I’m sure you will not be disappointed.” He said with a nod as he slid his large hands into the pockets of his black slacks.

Did he… did he smell her hair? Was that normal?! Did she smell nice?! Did she smell okay!? She did shower after her run and she did wash her hair but did she smell alright?! Was he going to run out of her house and complain he didn’t like the mint scented shampoo she used in her hair. She held her breath for a moment as he opened his mouth to speak, thinking that he was going to find some excuse to leave; but luckily that wasn’t the case. When he called her an amazing individual; she cuddled close to him, letting out a small excited sigh as she kept her head on his shoulder and gave his knee a small squeeze.

The fact that he was so excited to eat the apple pie made the work of putting everything together worth it. And as he ran back to his apartment to grab the vanilla ice cream, she fanned herself slightly; wanting to blame the eat from the cooling oven but she knew all too well it was because she was flabbergasted by the sight of the handsome yet incredibly shy man. The two eat their dessert while leaning over the couch so that they didn’t have to miss the movie but Steve had easy access to going back to the kitchen to get more pie and ice cream. She didn’t mind and actually was excited that he was eating it. She had cooked for quite a few guys but no one seemed as excited about her cooking as him and that was very flattering.

With the movie and ending, she had to say good bye; between the time of the movie being done and the fact that she needed to get up and run before going back to work… work, blah! She’ll have to see if she can get out of Fury why she’s watching the guy. “Thanks for making a new person in town feel welcome; I had a lot of fun too.” Her cheeks turned a small shade of pink as she broke eye contact with him at the door and turned her gaze to the floor, “I’d like to do it again sometimes whenever you’re free.” Her gaze moved back up to him; accepting the fact that her face was bright red with embarrassment. She couldn’t deny it was happening. “I’ll probably take you up on all of that and since I don’t know anyone in town; I could always use some company so if you’re free and looking for something to do, you can always come over and see me.” She gave him a shy smile, god he was so handsome! “And if you want someone to watch the movies with I’d be more than happy to watch them with you.” Now she felt like she was blabbering. “Well… uh…” okay how does one say good night; You hug on the first date Sharon, it shows you’re interested but if you kiss on the first date than you seem easy. Make them work for it but don’t make them think you’re not interested. Her mom’s voice echoed in her head. With that she stepped into him, wrapped her arms around his neck and leaned against him, giving him a gentle hug for a small minute before pulling back from him and stepping back into her house. “Hopefully I’ll… see you soon…” Her voice had dropped, her face was bright red with shyness but the smile on her face said that she enjoyed everything that had happened. As they said their good byes and she shut the door; her back laid softly against the door and her body shivered with delight; she couldn’t believe that the day was real.
Speaking of days, the next day rolled around and though poor Sharon was a bit groggy due to the late night before, she still got up and did her morning run. The longest part of her morning was debating on how to leave her house; if she left looking like Agent 13 she could get caught by Steve but if she left looking like glasses and hair up Sharon, they might not let her into S.H.I.E.L.D. Finally ending the debate, she put her business attire into a backpack and left her house locking the door behind her. With that she walked down the stairs and out the door not encountering Steve was a blessing. When she was further enough away from the building she pulled down her hair and slipped her glasses into her backpack. Stopping into a local coffee shop that S.H.I.E.L.D. ran, she looked more like herself than the girl at the apartments. She slipped into one of the bathrooms and changed into her business attire before grabbing a coffee, paid for it and left.

Her first business with was Bruce who seemed happy to see her. “Hello 13, how was your days off?” He asked in a somewhat bright fashion since he was used to seeing her around the labs.

They had grown accustomed to each other and had a professional mutual respect for one another. “Oh it was very nice.” Agent 13 said with much more excitement in her voice then she had intended before laughing softly. “I’m sorry Doctor Banner, I didn’t mean to blur out like that. So what are we working on today?” The instructions were rather simple. Measure out samples in the other room per instructions given over a microphone. “Okay.” With that Agent 13 opened the door and peeled off the black dress jacket and draping it over one of the chairs. “Can you hear me Doctor Banner?” She said to the mirror across from her.

“Yes and I can see you too, the instructions are there on the table.” Bruce’s voice echoed through a microphone before he said. “Oh crap…”

“It’s Mister Stark on his way?” Agent 13 called out as she walked to the table and picked up the instructions and brushed some blonde hair from her blue eyes.

    “How did you know?”

“You say ‘oh crap’ in the same time over time he’s on his way in.” She said with a small laugh.

“Lucky guess.” Bruce’s voice echoed with a small laugh over the intercom system as another voice echoed through the room, she could hear Tony entering the room and quickly went into the work as she slowly began to measure things into containers and count small items; anything to keep herself looking busy so Mister Stark wouldn’t bother her, this could be a long day...
As Lexi stood on the front porch, her blue gaze scanned around the small neighborhood that Peter lived in. She loved the area and always thought it was cute, an apartment building was nearby and other houses scattered the streets. It was peaceful and fun-loving like a small town in a big city. It’s too bad it was filled with more old people then young people; if there were more children maybe Peter would have been less lonely and shy then when she first met him. But then again, he wouldn’t be her Peter if he wasn’t shy awkward and dorky. That’s one of the many things she loved about her man.

Speaking of the man, the door opened to reveal Peter’s famous grinning face and she returned the smile with one of her own. “When haven’t I made myself at home?” She asked playfully, her moral was obviously up compared to before. She slid inside and kicked off her shoes and throwing her bag up further on her shoulder. “If you don’t mind I’d like to get into my PJs.” Giving his arm a gentle rub she slid past him into the nearby bathroom.

Changing quickly because she wanted to be with Peter and in his arms once again, she came out of the bathroom in a pair of white PJ bottoms and a tan tank top for her top. “Can I put my bag in your room?” She asked softly walking to him. Her bag over her shoulder as she rose her free hand up and placed it gently onto his cheek, her thumb rubbing gently against his cheek before leaning up and gently placing a tender loving kiss onto his lips; it was nice to be somewhere safe and with her boyfriend. What more could she ask for?
“‘You’re going to regret this, you’re going to regret that’” He said in a playful mocking tone when he carried her down the stairs. “Do you know how often I hear that from you that it’s not so much of a threat anymore?” Growing up together there was really only one person who had the ability to slap reality in Jett’s face and that was Sia, mainly because she’d literally hit him and he’s snap out of whatever he was dealing with. He knew he had a true friend in her considering she’d never feed him any sort of bullshit that other people always tried to do, and that was something he really appreciated about her. But that didn’t stop him from treating her like a little sister. Especially in cases like this.

The drive to the house was peaceful aside from her continuous complaining about being dragged home. “Come on Sia, it’s a simple visit just tell them off or whatever and be on your way. They can’t control your life forever… Okay well they kinda can.” He said lifting his slightly on the wheel to show emphasis on the ‘kinda’. “But you’re a smart girl, you’ll be able to figure some way out of it. You always were the one to get me out of a lot of trouble when we were younger, I’m sure you can do that for yourself.” A cheeky yet honest grin moved across his full lips as he rounded the corner to her parent’s driveway.

Every rich Vampire family had a large house and lots of land, Jett’s family was no exception to this rule and neither was Sia’s, so it wasn’t surprising that the drive way was an half a mile long. The house was a three story large barn style house with elegant trim and a sense of upper-class-ness. Which was ironic that they’d have such a big house when they only had one child; at least his parents had the excuse of having two kids. Grrrr his brother. That was not a thought he wanted at the moment.

Parking out in front of the front door he turned off the car and climbed out. Shutting the door, his large frame moved around the front of the car and pulled open the passenger’s door to his rather dramatic-pouting friend. “Please don’t make me carry you to the door. I promise you can vomit on your parents’ carpet if that makes you feel any better.” Getting her to the house was an adventure in among itself, half of her not wanting to go and the other half already drunk; it made it difficult to guide her but by the time they made it to the porch her parents and their staff were at the door.

“Awe Jett thank you!” Her mother said in an uncomfortably bright fashion. “How’s Veronica?” If there’s one thing the Vampire community loved to talk about it was who was going to be with whom. And with how important Jett was in the standings in society, he was always a hot topic.

“Don’t know, we’re not together anymore. Now if you don’t mind I’m going home before someone explodes, good bye!” With that he took off running back to his car. Oh he wasn’t stupid; there were two people who could explode now, Sia for him taking her home and her mother obviously just now finding out that Veronica and him were no longer together; which meant he’d have to face his own mother soon because their parents were close. All that was going through the mind of the Vampire as he reached his car and pulled open the door was DRIVE DRIVE DRIVE BEFORE ONE OF THESE WOMEN KILL YOU!!! and judging by how hard he floored it to get away, he knew just how much trouble he could have been in had he not left right then and there.

Lexi felt silly crying against Peter but it was bound to happen, being faced with something so traumatic like mortality was a bit overwhelming. Especially when it was towards someone you loved so much. Her head jerke dup when he said that if there was no way for her to save him she needed to save herself. His bluntness was filled with honesty but the look on her face when she stared up at him said she wasn’t buying it. “There will never be that situation.” She said just as bluntly; she didn’t say she would not do as he asked; but she also didn’t give him the idea that she’d let a situation like that happen.

Nodding softly she gave him a tender smile. “My parents think I’m at your house so we best go back that way. My bag is hidden in your backyard.” With that the two were off, this time Lexi swung by herself until they made it to his house. It was weird being so light, she was still trying to get used to not weighing much and the fact that she can drop from any height and land on all fours and be perfectly fine. That in itself was something new and weird. Grabbing her bag from behind a bush in his back yard she jumped into the alley next to the house and changed back into Lexi Rogers.

A small sigh left her as she slung the bag over her shoulder and walked out of the alleyway and down the little street. Just as normal she walked up the stairs and to the door of the house and gave it a light knock; sure at 9:30pm at night it may seem weird to any other house but Aunt May was rather used to Lexi showing up at random hours of the day and night. Especially since her and Peter were officially dating. Rocking back and forth in her tennis shoes, Lexi had changed into a pair of dark blue hip hugging jeans and a silver shirt with sparkling silver earrings and her hair down. Yes she looked different as Lexi Rogers but let’s face it, Peter Parker didn’t exactly look like what people picture would be under the mask of Spider-Man. Expect Lexi who now couldn’t picture anyone else.
Settling in next to him was welcoming and inviting; something she wasn’t quite expecting. Guys in New York are jerks. The few amount of friends she had told her this when she informed them she’d be moving to the city from New Jersey. Sure, the guy on the boat was rude but everyone else seemed to be in their own little world. Then… there was this guy, her neighbor and the one she was sent to ‘watch over’ was like a gentleman from way back when. And he seemed completely nervous around her; which was even more adorable. A large man like him shouldn’t be intimidated by someone like her; maybe he’s not used to female’s attention but how he couldn’t be was beyond her.

His hand gently rubbing her side again shot the same amount of electricity through her body as before; it was insane how it made her feel. No, bad Sharon, you just met the guy. No no no!!! Her lecture seemed to go unheard against her heart whom was all in for the actions at hand. Yes good Sharon this is awesome! Yes yes yes! Can you say conflict? “I think that more people would move here if they got a tour like I did. Nothing’s better then touring a neat town with an amazing individual.” She said with a small nod as she rested her head against his shoulder, her small free hand closest to him moved from her lap to his, placing itself gently on his knee. This, this felt nice.
Lexi followed Peter in silence, her worry filling her as her mind ran rampant on everything that she had encountered while under the gas attack. Things she had seen scared her but she knew that’s what Peter was fighting to prevent; and that was something she had to start fighting to prevent as well. She couldn’t let that happen, not to her city, not to her family and sure as hell not to Peter. He was nice enough to carry her which helped her get through the emotions she was feeling. Clinging to his back made her feel like she was holding onto him for dear life. She didn’t want to let him go; not now, not ever.

When they landed on her roof she pulled off her mask only to lay her head against his chest and listen to his heartbeat. He was alive, not dead inside of his own cocoon. A long and very shaky sigh left her full lips as she blinked a few times, tears cascading down her face as she remembered holding Peter’s lifeless body in her lap. “I can’t… I can’t let that happen to you…” She said softly, obviously distort about what she saw in her hallucination, “I won’t. I still want to fight to protect the city… and you.” How ironic? Her father asked him to protect her and now she’s saying that she wants to be the one to protect him.
A tingling sensation shot through her body as he gently rubbed her side. Oh god it was tender and intoxicating at the same time. She felt the urge to climb up onto his lip and plant a big-fat kiss on his full lips with hers. But her instinct told her no. No. No bad Sharon let’s not scare him away. Another half of her that she never expected to find came forward and said, Go ahead, I bet he’ll like it. I bet he’ll like it a lot! That was something she wasn’t ready to try just yet.

The timer went off on the oven and she had never been so mad about the fact that a timer was going off. “I suppose I should get the pie out. My aunt was always particular about the timing.” With that and obvious hesitation, she left the couch and went into the small kitchen. Grabbing an oven glove she opened the oven only to be met with a flush of mist fogging her glasses and she began to laugh. “Well, that’s the bad thing about wearing glasses.” Pulling off her glasses with her free hand, she placed them gently onto the countertop before pulling out the pie and setting it on one of the burners. Closing the oven door with her hip, she turned off the oven and pulled the glove off of her hand. “It will need about fifteen minutes to cool before we can eat it. Or will have no taste buds to enjoy it.” With that she picked up her glasses and used the bottom of her shirt to wipe them clean.

Venturing back into the living room after setting another timer on the oven for cooling down she slipped her glasses back onto her face and sat herself back down in the position in which she had left. Yeah he wasn’t getting much of a choice, she liked cuddling and was going to take advantage of the fact that he was enjoying it to; or at least pretending like he did.
