When he said that he was going to pay for the potato fingers, her head jerked back and surprise flew across her face. That wasn’t something she was expecting. The smile crept a little bigger on her full lips, maybe he was just being nice; but she could use an act of kindness right now. When he introduced himself she gave him a small bit of confusion, did he really say what she thought he said. How weird. Huh, she’ll have to ask about that in a bit. “I’m Nikki, Nikki Ivy.” She said with a smile as she picked up another potato finger and dipped it into the ketchup. A small laugh left her when he asked what she was doing on the planet.

Cheeks turning a small shade of pink because of his flattering; a shrug lifted her small shoulders as she popped the potato finger in her mouth, chewing and swallowing before answering his question. “Looking to make some money that doesn’t involve,” She gestured towards a couple of the men in the corner who seemed to be ogling her. “that. Getting off the planet would be nice too.” A small shrug lifted her shoulders once again before picking up another potato finger and dipping it into the ketchup. “So, why do you call yourself the Stair-Lord? That’s an interesting name.” She stressed the word interesting, giving off the impression that it was not just interesting but weird as well. Why would someone call themselves a stair-lord?
“I didn’t know you were you…” Sharon said softly to her lap but she understood where he was coming from. But more tears streamed down her face when he said that he thought that yesterday was scripted. That hurt. A small sniffle left her as he said that. It was very painful to hear something like that because yesterday meant a lot to her. Which is why she had to tell him, especially when she found out who he was.

A long sigh left her after he explained how lost he felt. But when he said that he couldn’t help but think it was just a mission to her she stood up, walking slowly to her door she pulled it open, and tears streamed down her face. “I can see how you’d think that but that’s not the case Steve…” Leaning against door she turned her gaze to him. “I understand if you want to leave but…” Her hesitation was based around the fact that she had to sob a couple times, her free hand that wasn’t holding the door open wiped away the tears as her glossy blue eyes stared down Steve. “I don’t want you to. What we had… means the world to me; I’d hate to watch you, someone I would consider a friend and…” She swallowed softly looking away from him, her attention now at the ground, tears falling from her eyes and landing on the floor, “something more. I’m not going to stop you from leaving but… I don’t,” A sniffle left her as she brushed some tears from her cheeks only to have more fall from eyes. “I don’t want you to go.” She wasn’t going to hold Steve back from leaving but she certainly wasn’t going to let him leave without him knowing how she felt.

Your parents warned you to stay away from bad men growing up. What they didn’t tell you is some bad men come covered in chocolate, sweet as candy, witty and charming as one would consider a prince to be and yet, oh so dangerous. This is the story and the life of Trenton Arklander. As ironic as it sounds, he loves his job. Getting paid to do simple things like offing someone is just amazing. But for the highest bidder of his services, he’s more than willing to turn against the person who he works for the most to whoever pays him the highest price.

His sarcastic manner is something his new found bosses, the Gigliotti family loved while their underlings that end up working under him hate his manner. It has gotten continuously worse as time has gone on with his ‘coworkers’ since they didn’t like his humor but knew better than to mess with him. One, the Gigliotti family would not be happy with them and two, the man was a trained killing machine and wasn’t afraid to pull the trigger, cast the spell, throw a knife or break a bone in order to get a point across. He was a killer and there was no doubt about that.

Though he was playful and fun, he took his job as a hitman very seriously but unfortunately it was the only thing he took seriously. Everything else was playful flirty fun and charming. The pureblood wizard loved life and basked in all of its glory, even when tied to a chair with people threatening to beat him up, that didn’t stop him for shooting one liners, giving sarcastic remarks, comments and facial expressions before he broke free and killed his captors. He is the best in the business and lives life to the fullest!
Nikki had been through a lot in her young life. The death of her family, her people and her respective planet; it does a lot to a person. For a long time, Nikki refused to speak and would turn to violence because of the comments some people would make about her hair. You’d think these people had never seen a Metra before; then again her people didn’t get out much and when they did it was to fight. They didn’t invade planets but they did protect their own with fierce fights and deadly wins, it just… wasn’t enough in the end.

Her chocolate colored eyes stared down at the bar top. She needed money and she needed it soon. She barely had enough to pay for her beer but she needed something. Maybe it wasn’t the best choice. A small sigh left her full lips as she adjusted her jacket on her shoulders before spinning the glass in her hand. What was she going to do?! Some of the looks of the bar people suggested alternate routes of getting money but she just snarled at them to keep them away; not that she hadn’t considered it as an option but have you ever seen a Hetachi? The tentacles and were smooched faces aren’t exactly what she would define as ‘attractive’. To each their own, and this was her own is a big ‘no’.

The mood of the room seemed to instantly change as the door to the bar opened and shut. It was surprising how strange the people reacted to the new person who walked in; some seemed to ignore the person as if they didn’t want the person to exist and others seemed to get a heated fire that radiated hatred from the other side of the room. Nikki learned from her time of being a loner that she should wait and feel out the room and how people felt about someone else before making a judgment. Sure everyone had their own stories of why they did or didn’t like someone but each story held some truth. Plus it was probably another Hetachi.

As someone spoke in her general direction, her chocolate gaze flicked to the newest arrival the bar. Maybe that’s how they generally greet people who weren’t Hetachi because he looked like he could be human, or something close to human. When he looked over at her and gave her a smile she returned one with a grateful nod as the corners of her full lips curled up into a small smile, a rarity for her but he deserved it. Great she could get something to eat. “Since he’s paying for my drink, can I get some potato fingers?” The bartender nodded as she took a drink of her beer and he returned rather quickly with a large container of French fries with salt, cheese, bacon bits, and chives with dipping sauce of ketchup and BBQ sauce. Picking up a fry, she glanced over to the man who bought her the drink. There was a seat between the two of them, so what did she do? She pushed the potato fingers basket to occupy the space between them as she dipped the one she had into the ketchup. “Help yourself.” She said nicely, though her tone wasn’t sweet and flirtatious, he has yet to give her a reason to be rude so why not play nice?
His words cut like knives to her heart and pierced her soul in more pain than she had ever experienced. Her gaze turned downwards to the floor as she listened to him to talk. Being an agent, you learn to hide your emotions well and Agent 13 was normally really good with hiding her emotions until he said that she was pretending to have feelings for him. Her face dropped into a frown, her eyes watered and tears slowly tricked down cheeks as she listened to him finish his statement to her.

His presence didn’t move after he finished and her attention moved upwards. Taking a deep breath and slowly breathed out. “You’re right, we do keep secrets and sometimes; we shouldn’t. If you would have known who I was from the beginning, would you really have spent as much time with me? Would we have had the wonderful evening that we had last night?” She slowly stood up to her feet, her hands running through her damp straight blonde hair before she wiped away some of the tears from her cheeks and allowed her arms to fall to her side, landing against her sides with a small thump. “When I found out who were you Steve, I told Director Fury that I had to tell you. You… you mean too much to me for me not to tell you who I am. I never found anyone someone who I can get along with and be myself around; nothing I said was a lie. I work on computers at S.H.I.E.L.D. and help people. I like to think we’re the good guys.” She let out a small sigh and wiped away more tears that were falling from her blue eyes. “I… I understand if you want to leave… But… but… I don’t want you to.”
The snowball war (there was no battle it was all war) was one for the ages. Their childhood selves would have been very proud of the battle that was going on. No matter how many times Lexi dodged, she always got hit by at least one of the two that Peter released. Peter was rather high on the morals of not using his powers for personal gain and while she can respect and understand that; she liked to remind him that there is a fun side to it as well. As one of the few people who weren’t locked up in the nuthouse that knew, she felt it was her duty to remind him of the simple things in life and that having the gifts he now has is not a bad thing.

When Peter dropped to his knees and did his dramatic end scene she burst into laughter. That Peter Parker, she could always count on him for corny jokes, silly comics, goofy smiles and more recent knowledge, protecting her life. Who would have thought that her celebrity crush and her secret love would be on in the same? For that, she was truly blessed. With a smile she ran to him, before sliding along the snow and stopping near his body. “Oh cruel fate! The lover I desire, he forsakes me… by dying by snowball attacks! Cruel cruel fate! BLAH!” At her blah she fell on him, dying at the end of her scene. Oh yes, they are were dorks but they were dorks together.
When Steve asked if Peggy Carter was her aunt she nodded in response. Sharon took in a deep breath and held it, unsure of how the rest of the rest of this was going to play out; his laugh seemed discomforted and her heart sank into her stomach. She didn’t want to tell him… but she liked him, and she didn’t want to continue a lie. “I know a lot about S.H.I.E.L.D.” She said softly leaning back against the couch. Her gaze moved to her lap as she played with her fingers. “My aunt talked a lot about you. You meant a lot to her. I don’t think there was a day where you weren’t on her mind. She admired you so much and cared for you deeply. Your inspiration is what got her to help start S.H.I.E.L.D. I grew up hearing stories about you from my Aunt and we really bonded and connected as I grew up. She meant a lot to me so losing her was very hard on me as I’m sure it was you.”

She adjusted herself slightly against the couch, her right shoulder resting against the couch and her blue eyes stared at him from behind the glasses. Sharon knew she was about to bite the bullet but she couldn’t live with the guilt when she was developing feeling for him. “I know more about S.H.I.E.L.D. then you’re aware of. If I had known who you were Steve, I… I wouldn’t have taken the job. Director Fury said that it was just to watch over my neighbor and make sure he was adapting to life well. I thought that met a soldier returning home from the war. Not thee soldier adapting to life in the present day. And…” She let out a small cough as she reached up, pulling the towel from her head, her damp hair fell from the towel as she placed it on the coffee table. “You did see me today… more than once.” With that she took off her glasses and placed them on the coffee table as well. Her blue gaze turned to him; her eyes slightly watered as she held her breathe watching his face and waiting his reaction. Just like that she went from Sharon, his neighbor to Agent 13 who he had met in the warehouse but, they were one in the same.
“Mom?!” A voice called out into the distance. “MOM!!!!” A blue haired sixteen year old girl ran through burning flames. A large sword on her back. “MOM!!!!!” Another screamed left her, desperate for a response but received nothing. The war on the planet turned into a massacre. Her mother had gone into hiding with the other older women and much to her father’s dislike; she joined the battle as well.

The planet was full of kind hearted people who were pushed into a war that they didn’t want by an invading alien group. Torture and massive destruction happened before the Metra race started to fight back, than the true power of the race came out and they prove themselves to be valiant warriors. The war had spanned on for three years before a large explosion took out most of the planet. People were in hiding, somehow in some way; Nikki survived and had been wondering around the planet looking for her family. Her father was dead, she had to watch him die; like a warrior, he went down fighting and she couldn’t be more proud of him. Since then she took up his sword and it hadn’t left her back except to kill some of the other aliens that had invaded and got in her way of tracking down her mom.

A few times, walking through the planet’s destruction, she shot off a flame with an alert looking for help, there is no way that she was the only one who survived. There had to have been others right? Like her mom and her mom’s friends that all went into hiding, the children who were supposed to be in hiding. Her friends and classmates who had chosen to hide from the war instead of try to win it. No one was emerging and she only had a few flares left she could use.

The travels of the wounded and tired warrior took her to her home town which was still up in flames. She rose the gun and shot off another flare not paying attention to wear she was aiming and didn’t realize it bounced off of something high in the sky and exploded under it. She was too busy running into the town screaming at the top of her lungs. “MOM?! MOM!!!!!” Her voice echoed over the blazing fires until she ran towards the middle of the town square where the large water fountain sat and was the secret entrance to the safe house that everyone should have been hiding in. Her arrival to the fountain was a horrible sight. Bodies of her friends and her mom’s friends were scattered all over the ground and in the fountain which was pouring red… blood. The worst as at the top of the fountain; the sight of her mother’s small body strung up by her intestines, her deep brown eyes, matching her daughters were hide but her mouth was closed, as if accepting her own death but since she was the wife of the leader of the civilization the aliens were fighting, she had to be made an example of.

Horror filled Nikki’s brown eyes and as fell to her knees in front of the fountain of bodies and the hanging corpse of her beloved mother. At first the girl was silent in her black t-shirt and dark blue jeans and black light weight boots, than she leaned her head back, staring up at the starry sky and let out a scream of pain, throwing her hands out to each side, she threw well over two hundred pounds of pressure out of her hands and destroyed the standing structures around her. Nothing compared to the pain she felt that after she screamed she felt forward, hands on the ground crying uncontrollably.

An older version of the blue haired girl in the dream flung up from the cot she had rented with her last winnings of catching her bait. Her face and chest dripping in sweat; she placed her right hand on her forehead as she attempted to catch her breath. The dream was getting more detailed, more intense and she couldn’t get passed it. A long sight left the blue haired girl as she pulled off the covers and allowed her tan feet to touch the cold floor. Slowly, Nikki stood up and pulled her clothes on her shoulders and pants onto her waste. Once the boots were on her feet, she slid her gun into the hustler and her pocket knives and hidden blades into place of easy reach. Sadness filled her as she picked up her final item before her backpack. The sword, the sword of her father; one of the two things she had left of her parents’ belongings. The sword of her father and the necklace of her mother, which is around her neck; a sigh left her as she slung it over her shoulder and tightened the strap around her shoulder. Throwing her bag over her shoulder, she left the room she had rented and decided she need to find new leads for a new bounty.

Today, the deep brown eyed woman was on the Hetachi planet, a planet full of weird looking aliens with smooched faced and tentacles for hands. Making her way down the stairs, she paid the innkeeper and left. Down the street was a short walk to a nearby pub. A long sigh left her as she pushed the door open and walked inside; the place was nearly empty since it was about ten o’clock in the morning but here, any time is a good time to drink. Falling into one of the chairs at the bar she pushed the bag she was carrying against the ground under her feet. But she was smart; she hooked her foot through the shoulder strap to keep the bag from wondering off. The bartender took her order and slide her a beer, which she took a long drink of; she needed to get that dream out of her mind, some food in her stomach then off to find another job. Just a typical day for her bounty hunting ways.

I am aware I spelled Guardians wrong and now I'm completely embarrassed. -laughs-

    Nikki Ivy

20 years of age, been the only Metra left from the planet for four years.

Status: Not only is she single, but she is the last of her kind.

Occupation: Bounty Hunter in the far future. Turning in her pray to the GP (Galactic Police) or whoever paid her to find the individual(s).

Personality: Young Nikki is hard shell, she witnessed her father's death and found her mother strung up by her organs in her home town square in the war that destroyed, this all happened 4 years ago and she still is hard shell. But she learned that not talking can be worse then talking so she started to speak again after the first year of being alone. Soon she became sarcastic, insulting and arrogant in her manors. She hasn't found many people that can best her between her wit and her skills with swords, guns and hidden blades.

Biography: Nikki Ivy, warrior girl (a princess none-the-less) from a planet that everyone died from a horrible war, her species is known as Metra; she can levitate things up to 400 pounds but she has to act out the action in some form or another, she can't do it with just her mind. The amount that she can lift it doubled by her age. She regularly wakes up from a flash back to her life changing after she found out everyone was dead and make her a bounty hunter for whoever will pay her due to her skills. She's not invulnerable, she can still get injured and/or die and has many enemies from her job not to mention the people that wanted her planet destroyed. The blue hair is the trait of her people. She should be pale but her mother was an Indian woman from earth so she's very tan. Even though she is a half blood, she embraces both parts of her heritage and studies them in with a passion, believing that knowing both is important for her to remember everything about her home. Not only the bad things of the war and her parents deaths, but the good things and the happy things.
