    Name: Amanda Collins
    Age: 21
    Appearance:
Fate is another term for the bridges of life, destiny is the end of your path and your journey is the road you take. The words from the book the young girl was reading echoed through her mind as her leg bounced gently in the seat of the car dealership. While the blonde read away in her book, the conversation happening in the management office was a rather unexpected one; “Boss, she has zero credit but can pay for the car in cash up front. I can’t turn her away.” The sales man said gripping the keys to the jeep in his hand.

“But she’s 21, how does she have that much money?” The manager asked staring at the blonde girl who proceeded to turn the page in her book without giving anyone else notice.

“Who cares?! She can pay for it; she’s paying full sticker price! She didn’t even try to bargain with me.”

“Where’s she going? She looks like an L.A. nut.”

“She’s moving to Andersville. Greg give me the title, I’m making this sale.” The sales man demanded to his boss holding out his free hand. The boss who had seemed reluctant throughout the whole conversation handed him the title. “Sorry to keep you waiting Miss Collins.” The sales man said quickly as he approached the blonde.

Amanda’s eyes flicked upwards as she slid her bookmark into her book and closed it. “It’s alright, gave me some time to catch up on some reading. Is everything okay?” She asked timidly as she looked passed the sales man and to the direction of the manager’s office.

“Everything’s fine. We just need you to sign a few papers and the jeep is yours.”

“Fantastic!” The blonde said springing up from the seat with new-found excitement and following the sales man to his desk. Within fifteen minutes she was in possession of her new jet black jeep and started towards her new home town.

Andersville California was a small town of less than 1,000 people; the town didn’t have too much to it. A grocery store, a diner, a coffee shop, a salon, a bowling alley, a park, 2 schools and a church; it was just what Amanda needed to get away from the rat race that is Los Angeles but it’s close enough that if she needed to return she could drive the four hours to get there.

Driving with the top down, the blonde pulled into the driveway of her new home and let out a long sigh, the movers had already brought her things and she needed to unpack but it didn’t matter. Climbing out of the jeep the blonde in the white sundress pulled the ‘For Sale’ sign from the yard and carried it inside with a skip in her step.

She spent a few hours unpacking before deciding to walk into town. A quick stop in the convenience store got her some ice cream and, enjoying the bright sun shining day, Amanda took herself to the park. Humming to herself she licked her ice cream feeling like a child once again as she walked through the gorgeous park taking in the fresh air and the bright sunlight reflecting off of her tan skin.

Sighing softly she turned in her sandals to find a beautifully painted gazebo with some people gathered around it… what’s going on? Tilting her head to one side, Amanda ventured forward enjoying her ice cream and curious on what was causing the crowd.
She got into the shower that was a start. A small smile curled the corners of James’s lips as he heard the water going. Thank goodness he didn’t have to try to convince her to get out of bed as he worked in the kitchen. He could hear the shuffle of her sleepy feet, the shower could only do so much to wake her up and with that knowledge, James prepared a lovely set of tea for her to have along with her breakfast.

It took a moment for James to realize that Freya had started snoring once again. He couldn’t help but chuckle softly to himself as he readied her plate and placed it in front of her. “Miss.” He said, his voice a little louder than normal to jolt her awake. “You have a meeting with a councilor today before your classes to discuss where you’d like to take your career than you begin your basic classes for this term, reading, writing, speech, and math.” He placed two pieces of paper next to her and pointed to the first one. “This is a map of the campus, I have marked your classes with stars with a key over here in the corner so you know what color star is what class and I’ve also marked campus food spots if you don’t feel like coming home for a snack and the councilor’s office is highlighted in gold.”
Lily’s hazel green eyes stared down at her hands as they sat in her jean covered lap. Was what she heard… real? Was this what was really happening? Her thoughts traveled back to when she was a kid; coming out here and playing on her pa’s farm, riding the horses, swimming in the man-made lake her father and pa dug together over the years. Her mom and Ma would cook and bake in the kitchen all the time while Lily had free roam of the massive amount of land. There wasn’t a care in the world… until now.

Her small hands shook drastically in her lap; unable to take the sight of her trembling pathetic hands she closed her eyes. A voice called to her from a distance, a voice she came to recognize since she was on the farm and she took a deep breath in before slowly letting it out. Her eyes didn’t open but that didn’t stop tears from beginning to roll down her cheeks. She was never one to be able to hide her emotions and this time was no different despite who she was in front of.

“I wasn’t---” She let out a shaky breath trying to keep herself as calm as she spoke; though her hands were anything but calm and the tears streaming down her face were truly working against her. “I wasn’t -- brought here for – for, for a vacation…” This time she opened her eyes, the vibrant green crystal flakes in her eyes standing out thanks to her tears. “I was brought here because pa wants to leave me the farm… he’s… he’s---” At that moment she had her meltdown, tears leaking from her eyes she cupped her hands over her face in an attempt to hide what she was dealing with. What a great first impression this has been, what a wonderful day this has begun to be and… now this…
    Name: Lillianna Ratcliff

    Alias: Lily

    Age: 26

    Appearance:

Personality: Bubbly and upbeat and rather overconfident. Lily has a habit of getting herself into things she can’t handle. Her big mouth tends to get her into trouble and despite her small size, she can hold her own in a physical fight… however she doesn’t quite have a grip on her emotions. She wears everything on her sleeve and you can always tell what mood she’s in. Despite her emotions, she can talk herself down from almost any situation when she starts to feel negative, and negativity doesn’t last long with her. Though… she does have a habit of falling into “I got this… I got this---oh shit I don’t got this!” traps.

Bio: Lily grew up in the city, her mother was a model and her father was a high powered lawyer. Everything was handed to her and she never had to work a day in her life. This caused Lily to feel more comfortable than anything else with walking around the streets of Los Angeles and wasn’t afraid to show an arrogant ‘know it all’ side of herself because… well she knew a good amount of it. That was until her father called her and said “Pa Ratcliff wants you to come visit the farm.” And from there she was shipped out to Louisville Alabama. Pa’s land stretched over three hundred acres with a mix of forestry, farm land and a large pond area and he greeted his granddaughter with excited open arms and a bombshell of news. He’s dying and he wants to leave the farm to her.

Now it’s Lily’s job to learn how to manage a farm, raise and sell the goodies and create a new life her in this small town of 8,000 where almost everyone knows everyone else. Or should we say 8,001.

    Pa’s House
While he talked she listened closely. If he was going to replace her boss for the time being she needed to give him her full attention much like she did boss. Her deep brown eyes stared up at him taking in every word he said and understanding their meaning. He had a point; you can’t teach someone to hit harder but you can teach someone to hit faster. She nodded ever-so-slightly under him before raising her eyebrows upward.

“Sounds good to me. But we need to work on your first problem. It’s not healthy but I think we need to bring it to your attention…” She leaned up, looking him dead in the eyes - - bringing her face only inches away from his. “Your obsession with pinning women down; it has to stop. Get off me.”
    Bump?
When she decided that she was going to try to tell him to go to bed he responded by crossing his arms and raised an eyebrow at her, his deep blue staring her down as if to say ‘yeah right’. Upon her yawn, he couldn’t help but smirk with the knowledge of her being tired and he turned to leave upon her mention of going to sleep. He stopped walking and turned to her, she seemed to have a question for him and he waited for her to ask it.

However she seemed to change her mind and instead she hugged him. He froze at first, feeling his face turn beat red at the unexpected embrace. After a moment he wrapped his arms around her and embraced her again; why? He’s not so sure but his body seemed to react on its own. Though he didn’t respond verbally he let her go when she let go and returned the playful bow back to her.

Leaving her apartment he locked the door behind him and went into his next door. The place was a simple single room apartment and he jumped into the shower before going into bed himself.

The next morning James was dressed in his butler outfit with his gloves on and back in her apartment well before she awoke. Prepping breakfast took no time at all and soon he had the plate nearly completed. Walking down the hallway he knocked on the door. “Miss,” He called out. “Miss it’s 6:30. Breakfast will be ready in half an hour. Are you awake?”
Peter’s sudden change of expression caused Lexi to go on guard as well. Her big blue eyes scanned the area around them and before she could say or do anything, Peter had her by the arm and was pulling her behind some copy machines. The two froze as the noisy door opened and something was being wheeled in, it only took a moment for Peter to react and Lexi turned to him just in time for their lips to press together. However, it was just the threatening 70 something year old janitor who had a stunned look on their face, Lexi’s expression matched the old man’s.

As Peter rambled a smile moved across Lexi’s face. A smile that could only be explained as a dumbstruck happy smile; was she acting? Maybe… Was she seriously surprised and swept off her feet? You bet. It’s not very often that Peter’s that open in public. She followed along Peter’s pulling on her arm with that same dumbstruck smile on her face as she just stared at the back of Peter’s head.

When the elevator doors closed and he spoke, a giggle that matched her smile left her full lips and her gaze finally moved to meet his. “In the face of a deadly assassin or an evil 70 something year old janitor, your first thought it “kiss the girl!” I’m impressed. I mean, I should probably take a lesson from your book because those janitors man… whoa they can cause some problems…” She said with a playful wink before closing the gap between them in the elevator and running her hands up his chest. “Lust filled teenagers making out in the basement of your work. Man we really have come far haven’t we?” Her fingers went into his hair and she was about to go in for another kiss when the door opened with a ‘ding’ and the raven haired girl let out a sigh of disappointment. “The elevator’s as bad as Aunt May.” She muttered as her hands fell from him and she stepped back. They had to prepare for tonight and she knew that.

Night rolled around and Black Cat was the first to arrive near the building. So tonight they were dealing with a possible hit on Peter’s boss alongside Daredevil. A small sigh left Black Cat as she stayed crotched on the edge of the building taping her diamond nails against the stone. Tonight… tonight was going to be an interesting night; good thing she took a cat-nap before this.
He pushed her into a panic; he could see it on her face as she fumbled over her words and attempted to explain something a lot more than James was honestly expecting. A sad expression moved across James’s face as he watched her struggle to explain how she was feeling. When she finally stopped talking he reached out, his bare hand gently touching her cheek as he turned her face to look at him. “Freya,” He began, for the first time since he started his employment a year ago at the manor, he called her by her first name.

“Calm down, you haven’t done anything wrong.” His voice was reassuring, tender and soft as he stroked her cheek with his thumb. A gentle smile moved across his fine lips showing his bright white teeth. “I just need you to understand that a butler must never mix their personal and professional lives together. If you can separate the two then I see no reason why we can’t be friends.” He slowly removed his hand from her cheek and went to the end table, grabbing a pencil and a piece of paper he scribbled something down and went back to her.

“That being said, this will be beneficial in more ways than one. Here’s my number, if you need anything from me as a butler or as a friend you can text me. I think my employer is rather laid back about me using my phone while I’m at work.” He said with a cheeky grin as he placed the piece of paper in her hand. “However if you need something from me as a butler, please be specific. Or even something simple like a capital B at the beginning of the text massages would indicate to me that you’re asking for my assistances over just chatting as a friend.”

“However,” James began giving a small gesture towards her bedroom, “You start classes tomorrow, you better get to bed.”
