    Oh stop...
Her harshness was something that Alexander didn’t appreciate her attitude towards him and he seemed to get huffy as he pulled at the sleeves of his jackets. “You’re rather brash for speaking to someone like me.”

“I like her.” Leon responded with a chuckle.

“You want a more detailed explanation yet you want it in plain English. A detailed explanation is preposterous and…”

Axel spoke up at this point, feeling guilty for interrupting his boss and stepping into the conversation but it seemed like everything would end up poorly if he continued talking. “The Department of Wishes grants wishes the humans ask for. ‘I wish it wouldn’t rain’, ‘I pray grandma gets better’, ‘I wish I could win the lottery’ or ‘I hope I can make it to the gas station before my car dies’. The Department of Punishments is in charge of punishing those humans who do bad things. Someone who is scamming people attempts to scam a police officer and gets caught. A cheater out on a date with her second boyfriend ends up running into her main boyfriend. Or someone who steals an old lady’s purse trips and falls only to have the onlookers jump on them. If you’ve ever thought ‘Alright Karma finally got’em’, that’s the Department of Wishes.”

Alexander seemed to huff slightly as he straightened his suit. “Your love for the humans precedes you Axel, well done.”

“Thank you sir.” Axel responded brightly before turning his attention back to Lee. “Your assistance would help us keep the health balance between good things happening for people and karma helping to keep people on the right path.”

At that Cal called out. “We aren’t the only ones in the departments but with Leon, Alexander, Scorpio and Curt missing it will become a problem. Axel and I are just in the wrong place at the wrong time…”

“No…” Axel muttered softly, his voice sounding sad as he turned his attention down to the shoes on his feet. “I deserve my punishment.”

“No you don’t!” Cal argued intently.

“This is not the time.” Alexander said to the two gods before they could take off in their argument for the ten thousandth time. The gods’ attention turned back to Lee. “Do you have any more questions?”
Now I can finally message you back properly.

I have missed chatting and writing with you.
Welcome back and don’t worry, I am a patient person and as long as you’re okay that’s my biggest concern.

I can understand losing your motivation and feeling intimidated about returning because you’re unsure how people are going to react but you don’t need to worry about me.
I’m glad you’re back, glad you’re feeling up for role playing again and yes, I still consider you a fantastic role player!

Getting back into the swing and it's not my best I'm so sorry!
    The next will be better!
Gabrial chuckled when she mentioned that he was still alive. “So far.” He stated as he finished his cigarette and put it out like the other tone before he turned his amber gaze back to her. Hearing that he had nothing to worry about gave him a sense of hope, a long sigh left him as he seemed to relax on the bench. Pulling out his wand, he gave it a flick and sent the books and papers back to his office.

“So, a real… serious question has arisen, and I need your help again…” Placing a large hand on the table, he leaned forward and whispered. “Where can I get some booze?”

It wasn’t long before the two found themselves in Hogsmeade and Gabrial ran his large hand through his white hair. “Wow!” His eyes expanded as he looked down the road to see many different shops. His face expended into a smile as he fell into step with her and started down into the small town. “Wow this looks a lot like the little town outside of Durmstrang. Now I need two things, booze and sweets. Life cannot function without alcohol and sugar.”

Hogsmeade was full of buildings, shops and surprisingly people. This was an actual town and the white haired man looked rather excited as they went through the streets, his amber eyes twinkling as they ventured forward. “I bet it looks amazing here when it snows.” He mused to himself as they stepped through the town.
James left the two to chat and disappeared back into the kitchen to help clean up from his creation. A smile stayed on his face as he thought about the fact that she had flattered his culinary skills. Taking in a deep breathe he continued to work until the fingers of someone tapped on his shoulder. His body turned to see Freya had found her way into the kitchen. He gave her a polite professional nod followed by a gentle bow. “Of course.”

Following her lead, he left the kitchen and followed her into the study. A gentle smile moved across his face as he shook his head. “Strictly for business, I’m sure.” He responded in a playful manner knowing full well that he would be accompanying her to the visits of the heirs but luckily he felt like he wouldn’t have to worry about her falling for them, especially if he was there. “I will get the schedule for you but first.” Gently cupping her face in his hand, he leaned down and dropped a tender kiss onto her lips. “There, much better.”

Standing upright he gave her a small innocent shrug. “No I haven’t. I figured it would be best if we told him, and your father, together. The last thing I want Adrian to think is…”

“What would you want me to think?” A voice echoed through the room as the door opened, revealing Adrian wheeling in a tea set on a cart. Now Adrian stood about a head taller than James with a bigger build compared to his younger butler and seemed a lot more intimating; simply because he never took crap from anyone. Stopping at the table, he picked the tea pot and began to pour the tea into one of the two cups on the tray.

James felt his nervousness crawl through his body as he realized now would be a good time considering his boss would press (in his own scary manner) an explanation from him. “Um yes… yes, yes well, I…” His navy gaze turned to Freya, a gentle smile across his face as he reached out and took her hand. “We, have something to tell you…”

A sigh left Adrian as he shook his head and poured the second cup. “I know you two are seeing each other.”

James’s breath caught in his throat and his grip tightened slightly on her hand

Adrian’s stern eyes turned up to them as he finished pouring the second cup and placed down the pot. “I’ve never seen you smile so much James than when you are around the Miss. And Miss, you surely need to work on not staring at James as often as you do. But,” He picked the cups and carried them to the two and placed the cup down in front of Freya, then in front of James encouraging him to sit. “I don’t care.” He said simply as he poured a third cup and took the seat to Freya’s left. “As long as you two are happy I do not care. And no.” His statement turned directly to James, “You are not fired.”

Finally able to breathe, James let go of Freya’s hand and went to the desk pulling out an tablet with the detailed schedule of who she was supposed to meet, when and where.

“I think coming up with an idea of how to handle the heirs would be best.” Adrian said, turning his attention to Freya, “May I help?”
The birds sang outside of the window and a young man with crystal blue eyes slowly opened the look out the open window. “Today’s the day!” He shouted as he sprang from his head. He and his best friend from college moved into together for a couple reasons; one was what they could save money and start paying off their school loans and the second was that the apartment complex only had one place open and it was two blocks away from the hospital they both were employed at. Yes this was Alexander, Alex, Le’Fontane and he was a new doctor at HSS Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.

Alex hurried down to the shared bathroom to make claim of it as he got ready. Washing his face he stared at his reflection in the mirror. His hand ran across his face feeling the lack of facial hair, a groan left him. His family genetics prevented him from being able to grow facial hair and he always wondered if he could pull it off. Shrugging softly to himself he sighed and looked at his hand. Taking in a deep breath, his fingers and palm began to glow a faint white glow. Smiling brightly he ran his hand through his hair and his hair was perfectly styled and shaped. Pull his hand from his hair he finished up getting ready and hurried to kitchen.

Taking a moment to check to make sure his roommate had not started to stir, he clapped his hands together; the white glow eliminating both hands. Holding out his hands towards the kitchen, things began to move, the components to make pancakes.

Magic was a key part of Alex’s life and something he grew up using even though he lived in the human world, this magical being, this elf, lived among the humans. The problem is that the elves are scattered about the world and have to hide themselves until they felt the humans would accept them. So it should come as no surprise that they filled the locations of politics, civil servants and doctors as their powers are very useful in many different ways. The HSS Hospital was a hospital ran by elves cloaking themselves as humans and his father was the director of the hospital. Alex was destined to take over the hospital and he was okay with that but per his wishes, he will work his way up the ranks before earning his spot at the top.

His father was desperate for his son to come the hospital that he even agreed to take on the first human to ever work at the hospital and… well that was a bit problematic.

Elves were never supposed to reveal themselves to humans until the collective community agreed it was time but suppressing magic causes magical bursts of uncontrollable energy which can be dangerous so, Alex always took a chance at using his magic so he never had a burst; which is why his father was okay with hiring Kiera along with his son. One human can’t cause that many problems… right?

As the pancakes finished cooking and loaded themselves onto the plates and floated to their small dining room table, Alex hurried to Kiera’s door. His large hand knocked against the door as he was in his white tank top and black pajama bottoms. “Kiera wake up! Let’s have breakfast before we go. Hurry hurry hurry!”

Despite his looks, Alex was about 200 years old; very young for an elf but drastically old for a human but he had never enjoyed time around humans then when he met Kiera at a Comic convention and she showed him a couple outfits that were for sale. The next thing he knew he was dressed as the hero from the Zelda series and he even unmasked his ears and everyone went nuts! He became incredibly popular and the two became fast friends, even finding out they attended the same college and Alex became a very popular Cosplayer. In fact he became so popular around NYC that he no longer masked his ears and just had people convinced he had them implanted since he only cosplays elf creatures. It was fun to ‘be himself’ but it was hard because he wasn’t continually using magic hide his ears.

Now he was an elf pretending to be a human who cosplays as an elf with a human roommate and coworker to go work at a hospital ran completely by elves who help humans heal but cannot use magic around humans (conscious humans) and the entire hospital is under the supervision of his father.

    What could possibly go wrong?
