The look on Crystal’s face could only be explained as one of being completely offended. “Excuse me? You don’t love Addie? How could you not?! She’s super pretty, really nice, incredibly sweet, always thinking of others before herself - - - though she could use taking her own happiness into account once and a while but! That’s beside the point. The point is that she’s an amazing girl and you’re telling me you only love her as a friend? Mr. Stacera, excuse me for saying this but you really are dense if you can’t see what everyone in this room can see.” She heard a little cough from the corner of the room where Larry seemed to be getting her attention to remind her that she was being rude and she merely shrugged. “What? It’s honest, not rude.”

As he pulled out his cigarettes she couldn’t help but that. “You shouldn’t smoke when you’re comfortable and I just put about a gallon of hairspray in your hair. You look amazing but you’re highly flammable right now. I would not recommend lighting a match at this point.” Of course she was joking as she shot a wink towards Robert but she than made Jack get out of the chair and brought in her last person.

The girl’s dinner was nothing to write home about but the three As were back together again (creative huh?). The laughter filled the house as Adriana explained about the painting she was working and how she was just… well stuck. And being stuck was never a good thing in her line of work. She had a show coming up and was supposed to make one more piece but she couldn’t find that extra push.

Ally looked up from her food with a bright smile. “Maybe seeing Jack in concert will bring up some inspiration for you… I mean you listen to his music all the time. You just need that in person boost.” The thirteen year old teased as she grinned at her friend. It was no mystery to even the dumbest of little sisters that Adriana had a crush on Jack but…

“I look forward to the day you stop teasing me.” Adriana retorted back to the young girl who giggled at her plate as she was shot a disapproving look.

“I wish you two would just date already.” Ariel said sounding disappointed as she buttered her roll. “I want grandkids.”

The word grandkids caused Adriana to choke on her glass of water as she coughed while Ally laughed uncomfortably. “Gra—ndkids?” She questioned sounding shocked.

“Of course dear. I can’t expect that for Ally so why not you, and Jack’s a good boy…”

And there began the speech of ‘pick Jack’ once again which Adriana merely brushed off as the older woman just wanting to see her child grow up and have a family.

Luckily the conversation drew to a close as Alley exclaimed they were going to be late and the three women left to the show. Parking was a breeze as Ariel presented a parking pass along with their VIP badges and they made their way to their front center row seats. The blonde felt uncomfortable being around so many people but as the light dropped and the crowd roared, she turned her gaze to the stage and felt her heart pound with the excitement of the people around her becoming almost contagious as she began to get excited for the show too.
Her comment about his hair made him laugh, raising up a large hand he ran it through his hair before shooting her a bright white smile that seemed to almost twinkle with its own unheard sparkle sound. “Because I’m amazing.” Was his simple playfully sarcastic answer, an answer he gave to a lot of things when it came to explaining things he did with magic. It was just so much easier but blaming things on magic felt… wrong, considering he couldn’t tell her it was legitimately magic. So it was easier for Alex to just tack it up to the fact that he was just amazing.

His mouth dropped open as he finished his pancakes and ventured to the sink. “Me? Lazy??? Never!” His voice practically oozed sarcasm because he was rather lazy and well aware of this fact. It wasn’t rare to find him in clothes he wore the day before because he passed out in them or find his room a complete mess because he wasn’t under his parents’ harsh rule so he took advantage of that fact and enjoyed his lazy freedom. But with the top grades in his class it should come as no surprise that he was anything but lazy when it came to his schooling and his job. For a 4.00 did not come easy in doctorate school.

“Fine fine fine…” His voice was playful as he cleaned up his dishes and placed them in the near empty dishwasher before disappearing into his room.

This time when he emerged, he was in a pair of bright green scrubs, the scrubs for new trainees were required to be bright colored so people can spot them in they are in areas they shouldn’t be. He chose bright green, reflecting his favorite cosplay character Link!

“What color are your scrubs?” He questioned as he threw his large leather jacket over his shoulders.
Another night in a bed, and a GOOD bed none-the-less! Rei’s body seemed to melt into the bed while her mind relaxed the world around her fizzling away into nothing that she didn’t even hear the man come back into the room.

Here’s the problem with sharing a room with Rei though… “Uugghh….” She muttered under her breathe as the morning rolled over facing towards her bedmate. “Please… don’t---don’t take the last strawberry.” Her voice was a soft gentle whine as she panicked in her dream. As he stirred she wiggled loose from her burrito confinement and reached out a soft pale arm and a small hand in her tank top and pajama bottoms. Her small hand found his shoulder and with a pull that shouldn’t have been as strong as it actually was, she pulled Jacob back down onto the bed and proceeded to latch herself onto him.

A single leg wrapped around his and her body scooted to him, an arm tucked away under her and her head went directly to his chest over his heart while her arm wrapped around his midsection holding onto him. “Fi--ve more minutes…” Her voice was distant and faint as she tightened her grip on him. “So--- warm… So--- cute… Smells--- like--- oil… Relaxing---” There was a small pause to her voice before she continued. “Why--- why so cute? Makes things---hard…”
The presence of the young blonde in her shop during closed hours was a nice one. It wasn’t often that she had visitors, so it was nice to have someone to talk to, much less help her with the groceries. The companionship of having a visitor was nice and the room itself seemed to fill with an unseen happiness as the young man bounced around helping her with her much needed tasks. Maybe this was what it was like to have company… maybe she should get a cat.

“Questions? Sure! I’ll do what I can.” She responded in a bright and cheery tone matching Naruto as she began to load the eggs in the proper storage area in the fridge. However, his question about Kakashi nearly made her drop the egg she was holding. Kakashi? Down? He always seemed so happy and relaxed, almost bored with everything around his life yet… he was ‘down’ or being pushed down by an unseen force of stress. It came as a complete and utter surprise to her that he would notice such a little thing on someone who was as unreadable as Kakashi. \

Realizing that her pause was probably longer than it should have been she broke from her surprised expression into a smile. “I’m afraid I don’t have much of an answer for you about Kakashi, but I can tell you about the garden.” She responded innocently as she leaned against the counter. “I’ll tell you what. Why don’t you and I work on the garden together? When you have free time between missions and training you can come over here and we’ll plant, water and weed together. You help with the work and I’ll give you half of what grows. And don’t worry, if it’s time to harvest and you’re gone I’ll save a box of what grows for you and you can pick it up at any time. Okay… as long as it’s not in the middle of the night that might not be the best time. But any other time would work okay. If the shops open come in through the front and if it’s not just come around the back and ring the bell.”

“How… how does Kakashi seem different when I’m around?” She questioned softly as she wrapped up putting the rest of the groceries. She… she had to ask, could you blame her?

    ----

His question was an honest one. However it was enough to make her laugh, as a matter of fact, her laughter was loud enough that it rang like bells throughout her house. “Honestly, that’s your question?” She asked in a cheeky fashion as she tucked her hand under her chin and watched him closely. “I’ve been on plenty of dates. But none as important as the one person I would like to go out with. But… he recently came off the market.” She expressed with a rather tired sounding sigh.

“As for Airi, it’s to my understanding that she’s been out on a few dates not arranged by our parents but not many. She’s mentioned maybe two but said they were either awkward or they just didn’t click. As a matter of fact I don’t think she’s been on one since about a year after she open the shop so… four years ago.” A shrug rose and fell a single shoulder as she seemed rather bored with the conversation.

Pulling her head from her hand and leaning back in her chair she stared down the man across the table. “So. Friend-Of-Airi, why do you ask?”
    Glad to have you back!
