Whoever was carrying Airi was someone carrying an additional person as well. The carrier wasn’t struggling but she could tell that the carrier was shifting her weight and the weight of another person. It took her merely a moment to understand what was happening and during the carrier’s leaps, she used their stumbling to her advantage. Her only thought, her only goal was to make sure she could leave a trail to the women kidnapped.

Shaking herself more than the actual ride, she had fallen about seven times and on the way down, she pulled some of the bark from the trees as she fell. Hopefully it was enough to show where they were heading. But they the seventh drop, she was passed off to someone else; which she was kind of grateful for considering she had fallen a good couple of stories from treetops and landing in it was thick heavy branches until she stabilized either on a branch or on the ground.

Her tactics seemed to work well enough that at some point the voices talked with one another –

“We’ve wasted a lot of time because you keep dropping the blonde.”

“Hey it’s not my fault! This is a bumpy trip and you made me carry two.”

“You’re so pathetic.” The firm voice called out at the group settled on the ground, before dropping the girls together. “You can’t even carry two girls and you’ve been at this for many years. Why is there an issue now?”

This was her moment, she had to do it, it. If she could, there’s a possibility that she could lead the men away from the unconscious girls and buy some time before reinforcements arrive. Airi took this chance and sprang to her feet before dashing off in the direction they came from.

“What?! She’s awake?! GET HER!” The man who could be best defined as the leader shouted before the men broke off to try to catch her.

Airi took off towards the village following the trail she had left, She might have to fight her way through but if she oculd get them separated, maybe she could take them out one or two at a time. Airi got her wish as one landed in front of her; she certainly needed to work on her speed but the point of this was not to get away, it was to separate them. One man landed in front of her and she was quick to defend herself, leaving him curled in a ball on the ground; dead no, injured yes.

Taking off once again, she hurried through the forest until she was circled in by four of the men two in front of her and two behind her. Taking in a deep breathe she gathered herself and rose a hand into the air, “Summing J—WHOA!” Ready to call upon help, something she hadn’t done in a long time, the man she injured before used a rope and tied it around wrist, closing her hand into a fist and hoisting her into the air as if she was a puppet. “Let me go!” She demanded; her legs kicking as she flicked them upwards, wrapping her legs around the rope she pulled herself up and began to undo the rope holding her wrist. Except the man let go of the rope and she felt to the ground with a thud.

Jumping quickly, the men were on her, holding her down while the leader, the man she had injured walked up to her. “So you woke up.” He said with a snarky tone to his voice as another man ripped the blonde’s hair back, the man leaned over with a snarky grin. “I bet you think you’re real smart hitting me and attempting to get away. But you’ve picked the wrong group to mess with.” The man brought back a large foot and kicked it square into her stomach. Her scream was loud in a mix of pain and presence. She needed to get the word to anyone who may be near where they were and more importantly, where the girls were.

Being pinned by her legs and one man holding each arm prevented her from doing hand signs. A second kick came, this time to her chest and she felt something crack. This scream came pure from pain and the volume was higher than the one before.

“Adorable… really but we can’t have a runner. Too bad, blondes fetch a heavy price as slaves. Killing you will be easy, sad but easy.” Pulling out a kunai, he rose it over his head to bring it down to strike against her neck.

Spitting out some blood, Airi turned her blue gaze upward. She was a Leaf Ninja Chunnin in that moment and she wasn’t going to look away from death. She was ready to die if it meant she bought her fellow Chunnin to find the other kidnapped girls.
    Glad to be back!
How were these men remaining so calm? That thing was HUGE and looked dangerous to boot as the ground below them shook from the impact of its steps. It was surprising to see the men relaxed and almost… excited, for the situation at hand. A shiver moved through her body as they hurried along the path to follow but not engage with Deadeye.

A heavy breath left her as she continued to hold her nerves in a steeled fashion and progressed forward with the group. The question of what eye they were aiming for brought up a valid point and she turned to ask Prompto a question. Having worked on the farm and pushed through intense ground, she was used to planting her feet with each step. So when she turned around to ask him a question, she was stunned to see him coming towards her.

Swallowing a yelp of surprise, she reached her arms out and caught him in a hug. “You okay?” She whispered softly to him as she pulled him upright and gently loosed her grip on him as he stabled himself. “I gotcha.” Her smile was bright despite the darkness they were dealing with. “Come on, just remember to plant your feet with each step as it is the only way you’ll be able to maintain your balance.”

Letting him go, she stepped back and fell into the line with the rest of the group as they climbed towards the area where the massive beast disappeared to. Taking in a deep breathe they arrived at the top of the area that descended into the intense area which looked like the home lair of the beast. “I, I think I would be best utilized on the high ground.” She said with a nod before gesturing towards a high ground that she could perch herself on with the sniper rifle, “So the right eye is blind, but the left eye could use a few bullets.”

Taking in a deep breathe she started towards the higher ground leaving them to take the low ground. Before getting to far away she turned around and gave them a smile. “Be careful.” With that she climbed and perched, setting up the gun and focusing on her breathing, just like Prompto had taught her.
‘Over there to your right’ was the scariest phrase Rei had ever heard. The old disheveled looking ship made her whole body give one big shake. For those looking upon her it could be mistake for a form of excitement, but it was actually a shake of worry. “Oh boy…” She said doing her best to sound enthused as she followed him towards the mess that would his proud ship. Oh boy oh boy…

Despite the outward appearance, the inside was a lot better then she expected, Okay maybe you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. A phrase used by her parents during their time training her the tools of her trade. People who look like they don’t have much actually do and those who do have a lot normally don’t show it. So maybe this was actually a decent and working ship… though that in itself would be a surprise considering the outside looked as though it shouldn’t even lift off the ground.

Following his gestures she glanced around quickly learning the layout of the ship as he provided her with instructions. The interior of the room they ended up in was nice, even nicer is that there were no windows showing the outside world. Good, as long as there wasn’t any windows she would be… okay. Right? This thing can’t be that rocky or give off the impression it’s going plummet towards the ground and crash on impact right? RIGHT?!

“Alright, thanks.” Was her response as he left to take over his duties to prepare for leave while she hurried down to the room to figure out her arrangements. Inside she found an unexpected layout that provided almost… comfort to the person who he was traveling with. “Huh… well, that’s… that’s… unexpected.” She voice muttered to herself as she stepped inside and shut the door behind her. After doing a quick and probably not as detailed check as she should have, she took some time to hide her personal belongings and then left, bringing the bags of food she had purchased.

Walking back out she count hear the engine starting to rumbling under her feet. So they were bound to take off soon and the feeling made her stomach hurt. Ugh flying! It was the worst and her entire self-seemed to cringe at the thought. Talking through the actions, she hurried to the kitchen with her bags. [i]Plant your feet, keep yourself steady and if you start to feel dizzy sit down somewhere. Most importantly, don’t forget to breathe; a simple reminder she often forgot when she was in a panic.

Putting the things she bought in the respective places around the kitchen before hurrying into the main living around. The rumbling scared her; not in a sense of fear but more along the lines of a feeling of dread, what if something happened, what if something went wrong and how could she survive if things started falling apart!

Taking a seat on the couch she took in a deep breath and slowly let it out. “I’ll be okay, I’ll be okay… I’ll be okay…”
You could feel the tension from the group as they received a lecture from the human about the situation they were in. Her help was invaluable to them in learning what they can about their marks and there were many voices that began to speak in protest including Cal who had remained calm until this point and it was obvious she was ready to panic.

“Quiet!” Axel called out, much to the surprise of the group his tone was a lot more harsh then they were used to and everyone seemed to clam up and Leon casted a concerned glance towards Alexander who seemed ready to jump as needed. However Axel remained fine with their reactions and didn’t think much of it. “It’s her choice.” He said in a much more calm toned, sounding almost embarrassed to speak up against his boss and friends. “We can’t force her to do something she doesn’t want to do, nor will we. That’s not what we are meant to do, we are supposed to help, not hinder…”

“This coming from a Punishment god…” Leon muttered only to be told to watch his tongue by Alexander.

Turning back to Lee he gave a gentle sigh. “I’ll walk you to the bus stop.” Which he did, in silence and keeping his distance as to avoid making her uncomfortable; he then experienced the sadness of watching that bus drive away, who knew his first time on earth and his first experiences with some of the great inventions of their kind would make him so incredibly sad.

Every day for the next two weeks, Axel was rarely found within the house until near nightfall. From early in the morning to the evening, the young man was downtown in the city, either sitting or standing outside of her studio desperate to spend time with the only human being he knew. Despite their kind interactions he still felt like there was some distance so, one afternoon when her classes finished he did something bold.

“Hey Lee…” He said sheepishly as he stepped into the studio after the exiting students. “Can… can I… I mean I’d like to… Is there a possibility…” Taking in a deep breathe he finally got out his question. “May I take you out to dinner?”
Yes, expect one within the next hour or so.
I'm currently on a flight dealing with understandably shitty wifi so bare with me.
    -laughs-

I finally got my laptop situation figured out and now I can focus back on writing during my spare time!
    @CharmingDevil

    Hope you're well!
    Yeah slowly but surely.

    Hello!

I hate to say this but I feel like I am going to have to leave this role play. I honestly have lost the ability to write within this role play and I have spent the past few days re-reading it and re-reading out original discussion and... I'm sorry.

I hope you'll understand and I'm really sorry.
