@Mr Allen J You make a very good point, there. To be completely honest, I never expected the RP to be moving so quickly, haha.
I might ask people to kind of slow down on character making if it gets too out of hand, but I don't think I'll be closing character apps altogether. Certain plots in the future involve new characters being added and others dipping out, and I'm concerned about people vanishing and causing large gaps character wise.

Thank you for your input. :) I hope that I'm not coming across as being too mindlessly stubborn or anything about this, haha.

@Drazah It'll probably be a while before we move onto dorm stuff and classes, unfortunately. After orientation, people will be assigned their room numbers and dorm keys, and then left to go wherever they want and interact with whoever until dinner. Classes will start tomorrow IC.
There's a lot going on currently in the Common Room, though, if you'd like some more interaction until then? :)

Yo, just wanna give a quick announcement to y'all. IC, Orientation will start once a majority of the characters have been introduced, and are in the Common Room. I don't mean to rush or anything, as I'm dallying on introing some of my characters, myself, but just wanted to let you guys know. c:

(Dead) The Gifted World

Dawn had successfully managed to get to her feet, although she still swayed where she stood, as if drunk. She had gotten the tall one to throw his knife, spend a few rounds on the earth, but the other still had his knife. Coincidentally, she didn’t trust his claim of wanting conversation much at all. While he wasn’t the one who had been openly plotting to kill them, neither had the younger, and he had been the first to (physically) attack. Dawn took a few shaky steps to the side, teetering dangerously, but managing to right herself in the last moment.

Sensor. With the gun. She didn't speak, instead quietly projecting her thoughts into Vivian's own. The merc had told Dawn to stay out of her head, but now, there was little other choice in the matter. There’s...the one who got me...he’s coming this way. Dawn wasn’t quite sure what that one was yet, still far too dazed to work it out. But if he could do to Vivian what he did to her, then she didn’t want to stick around to find out. She made another weak attempt to paw at the regenerator’s mind, trying to get a hold, but most of her energy had gone into her earlier stunt. His fingers would twitch a bit, perhaps, but nothing worse than a minor muscle spasm at best.

This was not good by any means.

“Helena? Helena.” The girl had said that her friends called her Hel, but given that she and Esperanza were not quite friends yet, the necromancer refrained from calling her that just yet. Perhaps someday, but not now. She smiled brightly at Hel, then continued her work in clearing up the spill.

“You do not need to thank me, Helena. I am happy to help you clean up.” By this point, some of the milk had soaked into the gauze around her arms, causing it to droop and expose more of the ink beneath. Esperanza made a half hearted attempt to dry it before giving up and ripping the bandages away and into the garbage. Tattoos and fresh scabs wound up her skin like ivy.

“Do not be worried about the cuts,” Esp said, returning to the table with fresh napkins. “My mother taught me how to use Blood Magic. I know some, but I am hoping to learn more here.” She smiled again, patting away at a particularly sludgy mound. “What classes will you be having, Helena?”
