I was considering reclassing into a mercenary to hero route at some point, it fits Jerod's look more in my opinion.
Oh my, luck as a worst stat, lets not be relying on armsthrift from our daring tactician then (Assuming the reclass effort went into it). > > Glad you seem to enjoy our cast of NPC's so far... Also the real question is will Jacob survive long enough to reproduce? I mean one of could kill him on accident or he could be killed if someone knocked that mountain of paper work onto him. I mean his worst stat is Luck so it should tell how well most of this goes for him. > > :C Chokes on a piece of broccoli at dinner. > > And so fell our noble Champion of Naga. And so falls the Champion of Naga, felled by a furious flank of falling fabrications.
Aww, how adorable, love is blooming in the air already!
Jerod snorted with amusement as the newly crowned Captain of the Shepards got a swift kick to the knee, and was promptly pulled into a tight embrace by that princess with the mark. He hadn't really been paying the Exalt any sort of attention, but he caught enough to understand what was going on. Her own flesh and blood descendent, along for the ride too. Probably to help keep an eye on things, no doubt. He made a comment from his position in the room, arms crossed over his chest as the grandmaster fellow also chimed in that he would be coming along too. "Oi, champion o' naga, yer off to a great bloody start, ain't ye?" It was all in good fun, which was certainly obvious from Jerod's tone of voice, but he was instantly wary again when Marianne touched her eyepatch again, almost convinced she was going to lose her mind. But no, she didn't thankfully, and the nod confirmed her agreement, so with an offhanded wave and comment, he led her out of the throneroom. "We'll catch up with ye lot, got some carcasses to check fer loot. And don't fret laddie Captain, we'll share some o' the spoils!" Jerod laughed as he headed out, granted, it was as much show as it was honesty. Was it a risk leaving himself alone with the dark mage after her threats to string him up? Certainly, but she seemed better now. Famous last words, those, he considered. But once they arrived at the corpses he started sifting through their belongings, as he considered her comment on how Yllisean women were scary. Jerod wasn't sure if she was seriously saying that after what she had already done so far or not, but assumed she was. "Lass, in ma humble experience, women folk tend to be intimidatin', scary if ye will, if they put their bloody mind's to it, yea? Some be more natural than others at it, me thinks."
Don't worry Jacob, Old Hubba will take care of you. I'm sure the Outrealms have something in store for you, sure as sure.
> Bless you, Princess Caroline. Bless yo-- > > > > It's better than a boot to the head. > > > > That comes later, they are in public right now, after all. > > _EISENHORN_ Mwahaha! She shall bequeath unto him....a boot to the head!
> It's better than a boot to the head. That comes later, they are in public right now, after all.
I think he's getting just the right amount of abuse right now, actually. And I approve of Miss Caroline already, a swift boot to the knee is the proper way to greet anyone, really.
Oh lord, gender ambiguity, the source of so many awkward yet hilarious situations.
Well, you can say many things about Marianne (And Jerod most certainly will), but she at least is ready to act for her friends. Even if it aint the most, ahem, proportionate reaction.
